TT generally doesn't repeat Layer, Disk, or Driver names for use on other parts aside from the name of an Avatar or an upgrade of that part. The only exception so far is Exceed Evileye and the Xceed Driver, but they're at least spelled differently.

You're missing the point. TT doesn't repeat NAMES for parts unless it's the avatar or an upgrade... So Absorb Fafnir is impossible since the ABSORB DRIVER exists... (I do not mean this in a rude way)

I don't think you're understanding. The Absorb Driver already exists, so the chance that the word Absorb will be used for the new Fafnir's Ring is very improbable. The only way I could see it happen is if they call it Abzorb Fafnir, but that's kind of a stretch since Exceed Evileye wasn't in the anime while the Absorb Driver was.

Hmmm how about something like feng fafnir since we have a FANG Fenrir that has not been shown in the anime. And Feng means to "harmonize with the spiritual force". And we know that free likes to meditate

Free is on the anime poster and Fumiya isn't. Simple as that. They also would not have done the Twitter Retweet thing if Free returned with Geist Fafnir.

Wait some People still think new fafnir isnt own by free? The leaks pretty much confirms we see free next to his fafnir leak And lui For his longinus leak plus their both in the opening And ending of the anime its pretty checkmate. And lets be honest free And lui >>fumiya And lodin I dont even hate then at all.  But thats it with 90% For fans. Anyway this question should probely be ask in random thread or the sparking/super KING thread.

I don't think Lodin or Fumiya are important enough for the anime to do that. Both characters(especially Lodin) didn't play much of a part in GT, so I highly doubt they'll make a return. The Ranjiro/Rantaro analogy doesn't work here because Lui and Free have no relation to Lodin and Fumiya besides the fact that they use beys with the same name. They addressed how Fumiya made his bey by copying Free, so I think it's fair to say that 1. Free doesn't even know who Fumiya is and 2. Fumiya would probably make his own version of a Sparking Fafnir, given how he didn't just copy Geist Fafnir.

Oh yeah they definitely don’t matter. The only reason why Fumiya and Lodin owned Longinus and Fafnir was because takara tomy wanted to make new Longinus and Fafnir beys since they are very popular and sell very well.
