That AR looks like it would be perfect for Upper attack. The actual model probably won't be perfectly round either, which might be better for it's attack-ability. It kinda disappoints me that an Upper Attack blade that is better than Bull is already being developed, but whatever. RE: Metal Fight Beyblade: Everything you need to know! - boh - Jul. 31, 2008 Pisces looks like it can be an upper attack if it was left spin. It's kinda like the opposite of driger ms. When driger ms is in right spin, it is an upper or smash attack. But in left spin, it doesn't do much damage as in right. Well Pisces looks like the opposite of driger in Left n Right. RE: Metal Fight Beyblade: Everything you need to know! - boh - Jul. 31, 2008 sure. look at wolf wheels, if u spin it to the right, it won't do as many damage in left. I think the reason wolf is not in left spin is because it will cause problems. When we first saw the image of wolf, it doesn't look like it is right now, so they might change Pisces n Aquarius a bit RE: Metal Fight Beyblade: Everything you need to know! - Grey - Jul. 31, 2008 johny Wrote:sure. look at wolf wheels, if u spin it to the right, it won't do as many damage in left. In left spin, that beyblade would have terrible Upper Attack. It would have killer Smash Attack, but nonexistant Upper. ...what problems would Wolf cause in Left-spin, by the way? RE: Metal Fight Beyblade: Everything you need to know! - boh - Jul. 31, 2008 right, but i was giving an example of Pisces RE: Metal Fight Beyblade: Everything you need to know! - Grey - Jul. 31, 2008 johny Wrote:right, but i was giving an example of Pisces ...so what are you saying? Are you saying that "Pisces" will have a completely reversed Wheel by the time the design is finalized? What point are you trying to make here? RE: Metal Fight Beyblade: Everything you need to know! - Bey Brad - Jul. 31, 2008 Johny, you're going to have to clarify, I can't really understand what you mean either. Maybe you should start over. Also, just because the Wheel in question has good Upper doesn't make it an Attack-type. Could see it being useful for adding Attack to Defense or Stamina combos. RE: Metal Fight Beyblade: Everything you need to know! - Train - Jul. 31, 2008 Bey Brad Wrote:Johny, you're going to have to clarify, I can't really understand what you mean either. Maybe you should start over. Much like Driger S's AR Tiger Defenser. Nice round shape and good upper. I actually REALLY like the look of it. It's slender and curvy. I don't particularly like this "Aquarius" just not feeling the AR. Could see it being useful for adding Attack to Defense or Stamina combos. Which would make it one of the most versatile ARs of the MFB, kind of like Circle Upper. Are we sure that it has better upper than Bull though? It certainly has more defensive capabilities than Bull, but I'm not so sure offensively though. Or a nice car, but I wasn't going to bring that up because it's sort of sexist. I really like this Wheel, I anticipate it way more than Aquarius.Bey Brad Wrote:Johny, you're going to have to clarify, I can't really understand what you mean either. Maybe you should start over. Synesthesia Wrote:Which would make it one of the most versatile ARs of the MFB, kind of like Circle Upper.Y'know, after I posted this, I wondered the same thing. Bull's Wheel seems more attack-oriented, and after looking at "what-we-were-calling Pisces" (it needs a Codename or something), I realized that it didn't seem as attack-oriented as I first thought. Of course, as Brad pointed out, it's in the Defense/Stamina booster. RE: Metal Fight Beyblade: Everything you need to know! - Bey Brad - Jul. 31, 2008 Train Wrote:Much like Driger S's AR Tiger Defenser. Nice round shape and good upper. Tiger Defenser hardly has good Upper ... the slope is very gentle. Synesthesia Wrote:Are we sure that it has better upper than Bull though? No. RE: Metal Fight Beyblade: Everything you need to know! - AnnieDuck - Jul. 31, 2008 Train Wrote:AnnieDuck Wrote:Train Wrote:It's slender and curvy. RE: Metal Fight Beyblade: Everything you need to know! - Evan - Jul. 31, 2008 *Pops out of nowhere again* Well, I hate to interrupt but I have been lurking recently, and been looking at pictures of the new beys. Am I the ONLY one who sees Wolf's Wheel as having bad recoil? IMO, too much surface area on the spikes. RE: Metal Fight Beyblade: Everything you need to know! - Synesthesia - Jul. 31, 2008 I don't think it will have too much recoil in right, but I was just about to post about it in left. It seems like it would recoil ALOT in left, but have some really decent smash. RE: Metal Fight Beyblade: Everything you need to know! - Train - Jul. 31, 2008 AnnieDuck Wrote:Train Wrote:AnnieDuck Wrote:Train Wrote:It's slender and curvy. I'm not really a car buff the only one I really drool over is a big ol mustang and that's hardly curvy. Brad I never found it to have great upper either, but the generally consensus on here was that Driger S was like perfect on it's own it just needed a better SG and WD. RE: Metal Fight Beyblade: Everything you need to know! - Evan - Jul. 31, 2008 Synesthesia Wrote:I don't think it will have too much recoil in right, but I was just about to post about it in left. Yea, I was thinking the spikes were in right spin. Yes, it will have great smash (Anubis and I were talking about this) but the recoil looks really bad. I'm not talking Dragoon V2 bad, considering there are 3 spikes on each side...but the spikes look too flat and too far out. I'll see when I get it RE: Metal Fight Beyblade: Everything you need to know! - Synesthesia - Jul. 31, 2008 I think more than likely in left spin, if it connected properly, it would K.O. a Stamina type blade very easily, depending on which bottom you used. The spikes do seem kind to stick out a little too far, but they also seem to add more attacking potential to it in left. It having mildly high recoil seems perfectly fair when you consider it's attack potential.
