I’m I tested to see if the new Fafnir has a new disc or an upgraded 8. Xcalibur got and upgraded 1, but I’m not sure if that’s going to be a theme or a one time thing

Don’t think so this will be a theme ,I feel this fafnir will have 14 or 16

Could you please provide a direct source? Should always provide a source for claims.
Then we can try to gauge how valuable of a "rumor" it is, if it's just kids spitting whatever (Shin Longinus) or if it might be an actual lead.

Geist is a German name which is translated as ghost , spirit, mind or intellect , it might be referring to Fafnir who died at the hands of sigurd which the words ghost and spirit comes into play also when sigurd taste the blood of Fafnir he gained knowledge , same can be said for intellect or mind since Fafnir was very intelligent and free is also very intelligent to. Also in some myth it also means frightened spirit . So the name may actually fits it if that's the new Fafnir named .

I matched the images from the orange and red “proto fafnir” to the 12 disc. Same markings. Sigh.

Also, how would your brother know what an upcoming bey would come with? It seems incredibly unlikely to me.
