RE: Questions about the WBO - 1234beyblade - Apr. 18, 2014 can anyone please guide me through this face booster thing. either link me to a thread explaining it or can someone actually explain to me how this works X3 ty RE: Questions about the WBO - Mitsu - Apr. 18, 2014 (Apr. 18, 2014 12:36 PM)1234beyblade Wrote: can anyone please guide me through this face booster thing. either link me to a thread explaining it or can someone actually explain to me how this works X3 ty There are different ways of earning faces. Some are from face boosters, that you're able to trade, there are also some that you earn in events, that you aren't able to trade. You are also able to trade faces with others, depending on what they are. That can only happen two times a month though. I'll give you an example of two of my faces : [Image: anniversaryface2013.png] - This is my Anniversary Face 2013, that I earned from the Scavenger Hunt we had of December 2013. This face isn't able to be traded, because of it being one of a kind, that members earned from getting 4 points. The Passport Face isn't tradeable too, because of members paying the money to get a free year of events. But that doesn't mean members can't get it. [Image: unicornoface.png] - This is my Unicorno face, that I obtained from a Face Booster Diamond, for two credits, in the Credits Campaign thread. This face is able to be traded because of it being pulled from a Face Booster Diamond, which isn't one of a kind, like the Anniversary Face I also brought up. If one member wants to trade with another, it can happen, but it's the original face boosters decision. If they both decide to trade faces, you need to contact Kai-V, with the other members post. The Face Collection might help you out too : http://worldbeyblade.org/myawards.php Edit: Thanks for adding that, Cannon. ![]() RE: Questions about the WBO - DRAGON KING - Apr. 18, 2014 So I was reading the Beyblade Wiki page about the WBO, and why is the relationship "Hostile" between the sites? RE: Questions about the WBO - The Supreme One - Apr. 19, 2014 I don't think it's hostile per se, it's just that the two sites (Beywiki & and Beyblade Wiki) are the best resources for Beyblade information out there, so naturally there might be a little unintentional competition. RE: Questions about the WBO - DRAGON KING - Apr. 19, 2014 I don't think they feel the same about the relationship not being bad . Read this: http://beyblade.wikia.com/wiki/World_Beyblade_Organization under the Relation with the World Beyblade Organization part. RE: Questions about the WBO - The Supreme One - Apr. 19, 2014 Hmmm... I guess that's true. While it's not blatant, I think some members think that Beyblade Wiki just copies WBO information or that some of the facts they post aren't trustworthy in general. Personally, I think both are great with what they do. I prefer the WBO for forums & we have tournaments, which is definitely a plus, but Beyblade Wiki is easier to navigate than Beywiki, in my opinion, & I think they have more information. ..... On another note, I just noticed this in my created threads: Spoiler (Click to View) RE: Questions about the WBO - DRAGON KING - Apr. 19, 2014 No, that just means Kai-V erased one of your posts in that thread. RE: Questions about the WBO - The Supreme One - Apr. 19, 2014 But when I click on the thread, it says I don't have permission to view the page, causing me to believe that I just accidentally created a duplicate of the original thread & Kai-V deleted the whole thing lol RE: Questions about the WBO - Dual - Apr. 19, 2014 Yah, that's what happens when a post is erased. Since it's not there, you can't view it. RE: Questions about the WBO - The Supreme One - Apr. 19, 2014 It was a thread with 4 posts though, if you look at the picture... Ah well, I don't even recall posting in that thread recently, so whatever happened was entirely accidental. RE: Questions about the WBO - Uwik - Apr. 19, 2014 Just a clarification, Both BeyWiki and Beyblade Wiki strive to provide encyclopedic information about anything beyblade. BeyWiki is highly moderated, while Beyblade Wiki, being a Wikia's site, is bound to have more traffic directed into it, which in turn, resulted in some misinformation, and plagiarism, written by their contributors who didn't know better. This caused some frictions in the past. This problem was out of the admins' hand, while obviously the admins wanted the best for their site. Beyblade Wiki's administrators actually work hard to fix and correct those pages. ~Mana~, who is one of the admins of Beyblade Wiki, is also a member of WBO's community, and we're glad to have him. At the peak of the issue, he was in discussion with Kai-V on how to sort the problem out. Anyway, it is all water under the bridge now. People who love this hobby should just work together and not talk negatively about each other, be it BBG, Zankye, Beyblade Wiki, etc... RE: Questions about the WBO - Cannon - Apr. 19, 2014 (Apr. 19, 2014 4:55 AM)The Supreme One Wrote: It was a thread with 4 posts though, if you look at the picture... When a post is deleted a new thread in the Erased Posts forum is created, if she deleted a post then it creates a new thread. In your case, 4 posts were deleted at once, so that's why there are 4 replies. It was something replying about Florida and F230. RE: Questions about the WBO - The Supreme One - Apr. 19, 2014 Ohhh... okay, I remember that now. Thanks for clarifying. RE: Questions about the WBO - Leone19 - Apr. 20, 2014 Are there going to be future Monthly Giveaways? RE: Questions about the WBO - Kai-V - Apr. 20, 2014 (Apr. 20, 2014 1:10 PM)Leone19 Wrote: Are there going to be future Monthly Giveaways? Absolutely. We actually have another prize ready, but I do not know if Kei wanted it to be for this month or anything. RE: Questions about the WBO - DRAGON KING - Apr. 21, 2014 Can banned people be given faces they deserved before they were banned? If so, this dude deserves his 15 wins and 25 wins face http://worldbeyblade.org/User-zeneo RE: Questions about the WBO - Kai-V - Apr. 21, 2014 (Apr. 21, 2014 7:16 PM)DRAGON KING Wrote: Can banned people be given faces they deserved before they were banned? If so, this dude deserves his 15 wins and 25 wins face http://worldbeyblade.org/User-zeneo We will not bother. RE: Questions about the WBO - Leone19 - Apr. 24, 2014 Assuming this would go hear... Before, when asked, mods have had mixed answers on the matter; so question: Would one be able to host a Limited Format event in a Zero-G stadium? RE: Questions about the WBO - Kai-V - Apr. 24, 2014 At the moment, no : you can assume that since nothing has been said about the stadiums, then regular stadiums must be used. However, I do not know if we would necessarily make a "fourth" format for Limited parts with Zero-G stadiums ... I truly encourage anybody with a lot more free time than me to test out customizations with the current Ban List in Zero-G Stadiums. Basically, if the top-tier list seems like it would vary a lot, I think it could be worth it to consider a new format altogether. Such test results should be posted in the Limited sub-forum. RE: Questions about the WBO - The Supreme One - Apr. 24, 2014 Another question: can one use two legal stadiums in one standard format tournament, switching them through halfway? Spoiler (Click to View) RE: Questions about the WBO - Kai-V - Apr. 24, 2014 (Apr. 24, 2014 2:25 AM)The Supreme One Wrote: Another question: can one use two legal stadiums in one standard format tournament, switching them through halfway? Arupaeo does it very frequently if I remember correctly. RE: Questions about the WBO - *Ginga* - Apr. 24, 2014 By standard, do you mean BB-10? Arupaeo doesn't switch BB-10s, but he does switch Zero-G Stadiums. RE: Questions about the WBO - The Supreme One - Apr. 24, 2014 By standard, I mean standard. There are a few stadiums that can be used in the standard format, not just the BB-10, if you catch my drift ![]() RE: Questions about the WBO - *Ginga* - Apr. 24, 2014 I suppose you could, but I'm obviously not the authority that can tell you either way haha. Just keep in mind the BB-10 is by far the most balanced.
