The Dream
I was running through Italy. "How the heck did I get here?!" I screamed as I ran. Three men were chasing me with their beys. One was a tall blonde-haired, blue-eyed, buff looking guy. Didn't really look Italian. Next, a Japanese man, who was about at the shoulder of the first man. And finaly, a small light brown-haired, brown-eyed, weak looking boy. "What is going on?!" I thought. "Stop him!" The first man said in a German accent. They all got out their beyblades and shot them at me. That was the last thing I saw before I woke up.
"Shawn! Wake up! You'll be late for school!" I heard my mom shout from down stairs. "Coming!" I respond and get out of bed. I run to brush my teeth and get ready. I put on my Linkin Park shirt and a pair of skinny jeans. I grab my bey holder and my new Beats I got the other day. I put them around my neck and run down stairs. "Bye mom!" I shout as I grab my book bag and a piece of toast. I run out the door and hurry to the bus.
As the bus arrives, my friends arrive too. "Yo guys!" I shout. They run over. "Hey Shawn!" My friend Taylor says. "Sup man!" My friend D.J. says as he does the secret handshake we made up a few years back. "Nothing much." I respond. "Just been blading. Just like normal." We get into the back seat and ride to school.
We all hurry to our lockers and get our books. We run into homeroom and sit down right as the bell rings. We talk about stuff that happened over the weekend. I tell them about the dream. "Whoa..." Taylor says in awe. "That's wack!" D.J. says. "I don't know what they're about, but they're freaky." I tell them. The teacher walks in and we all get quiet. "Good morning students!" She says, happily. Too happily. "I have some exciting news for all of you!" She continues as D.J. and I goof around with our phones. "The best bladers in class will have a chance to face the greatest bladers from around the world! The best blader from each state will go to a Nation-Wide championship to decide who represents America! Germany, Italy, and Japan have already been decided!" She says and shows us pictures of the competitors on the smart board. I look up at the pictures.
Then it hits me. The dream is true. The people in the pictures are the same ones from my dream. I look at Taylor and D.J., who realize, too. Boy am I in for a ride. I take out my Duo Eagle SW145WD. "Get ready Eagle..." I think. "It's gonna get rough."

The Big, Bad Battle Royal! Part 1!
"Wow." I thought. "Now class. We are going to have a battle royal with the kids on our team." Our teacher says. "Time to go outside!" We all line up and walk out side to a huge stadium. There we ready our beys. "3!" Our teacher starts. "2!" I ready my Eagle. "1!" I feel the heat rising in me. "GO SHOOT!" We all shout and launch our beys into the stadium. "GO EAGLE!!!" I shout as Eagle knocks out 6 beys. "ORSO!" D.J. Shouts as his Orso knocks out 4 beys. "GO AQUARIO!" Taylor shouts as her Virgo knocks out 3 beys. Soon, there's only 10 beys left. "SOAR EAGLE!" I shout and Eagle flies into the air. D.J. and Taylor look up. "GO EAGLE! TWIN TURBO SMASH!!!!" Eagle sets on fire and comes down, smashing out all of the beys. "Orso!" I hear D.J. shout. "No! Aquario!" Taylor shouts. I catch Eagle.
"It seems that Shawn is our class representer!" Our teacher says. "Now Shawn. You will go on and face the other children who won their class match later." I nod and say "Got it." We all walk back to class. "Man! You and Eagle are getting a lot better!" Taylor says. "Yeah! You're defenently gonna represent the 7th grade!" D.J. adds. "I hope so." I say and get my things for first period. As I walk into class, everyone stares at me. I sit down and get ready for class. As the bell rings an announcement goes off. "If all the class representers for the school will please report to the gym imedently." Our principal says.
I leave and walk down the hallway. My friend, Jake Miller, joins me. "So you made it, huh, Shawn." He says. "Yup." I say as we continue walking. "You ready to face Kerbecs?" He asks, as we open the door to the gym. "Heck yeah!" I say. "I've seen you training!" We walk over to the big stadium, were our principal awaits. There's 3 from each grade. Jake is in the 6th. "Ready?" Our principal asks. We ready our beys as if to say "Yes.". She raises her hand. "3! 2! 1!" I get ready to launch. "GO SHOOT!!!!" We all shout. "GO EAGLE!" I shout. "KERBECS!" Jake shouts. We both team up and smash out an 8th grader's bey. "Yeah!" I shout. I look over to see an odd looking 6th grader. He knocks out a 7th grader's bey.
"Go Eagle!" I shout and Eagle flies into the air. "SPECIAL MOVE!" I start. "TWIN TURBO SMASH!" Eagle sets ablaze and flies down. He smashes all of the beys out except for one. The odd looking 6th grader's. It's a Zero G bey.
"Go! Samurai Orojya!" He shouts. Then I realize. "Jung Peong-Weng?" I ask. He looks up and nods. "I'm back." He says as his Orojya smashes Eagle. I hear the wheel crack. "Eagle!" I shout. I am in for a big battle.

Chapter 3:

The Big, Bad Battle Royal! Part 2!
I looked over to Jake, who wasn't discouraged. He smiled, cheeklily. "You think I'm out just like that?" He says. "What the..." I say as I look down to see that me and Jung are not the only ones left. In the stadium, 5 Kerbecs appear! "B-But I could have swarn..." I mumble. Jung's Orojya backs away. I look at Jake, who smiles. I look up at Jung's facial expression. Blank. Go figure.
"GO KERBECS!" Jake shouts as 1 of them attacks Eagle. "EAGLE! YOU CAN'T LOSE NOW!" I shout as Eagle gains spin. I feel this weird power rising in me. I look down to see I have a purple-ish aura. "Whoa." I hear Jake say. That's when Jung makes his move. He smashes into the real Kerbecs with an amazing force. It causes a huge explosion. "Jake!" I shout and look over. Jake is struggling to keep his ground. Jung's bey continues attacking with a fierce power. I can hear Kerbecs's wheel crack. "EAGLE!" I shout and Eagle goes after Orojya. As soon as he smashes into him, Orojya blows Eagle back.
Orojya continues smashing Kerbecs. Jake is starting to weaken. "i WON'T LET YOU WIN, JUNG!" I shout. "Shawn!" I hear Jake say. "You have to win! For both of us!" I look at him and after a few seconds of thinking, I nod. "GO EAGLE!" I shout as Eagle soars into the air.
"SPECIAL MOVE! EAGLE CRUSHING DESTROYER!" I shout. Eagle head straight down for Orojya. "OROJYA!" I hear Jung shout. "OROJYA SPEAR!" He shouts as his bey is surrounded by a whirlpool. Eagle gets caught in the whirlpool. "Eagle!" I shout. Orojya then goes up into the whirlpool and smashes into Eagle, which, in turn, gets thrown out and onto Kerbecs. "Dang this guy is strong." Jake says. "I know right." I respond.
We decide to both attack him at the same time. Doesn't work. "GO EAGLE!" I shout as the power gets stronger. "I have an idea, Jake!" I say. "What is it?" He asks. "We use our special moves together!" I respond. He nods. "Good idea." He says. Our beys start to glow. Jung looks confused. "GO EAGLE!" I shout. "KERBECS!" Jake shouts. Both our beys set on fire. "GO NOW!" We shout together. "DOUBLE SPECIAL MOVE! ACIENT HELLFIRE ASSULT!" Both of our beys shoot towards Orojya with incredible speed. "OROJYA! GO NOW! OROJYA SPEAR!" Jung shouts as Orojya covers itself inside this whirlpool. Our beys smash into the whirlpool. "GOOOOOO!!!!" We both shout asour beys blast away the whirlpool and smash into Orojya, blasting the bey out. "No! Orojya!" Jung shouts and throws his cowboy hat off. "I was gonna win!" He said as he thew a tantrum.
"Jake," I say. "It's just us." He nods."Yep." He says and smiles. Both of our beys are barely spinning. "Eagle!" I shout. "Kerbecs!" He shouts. They both collide. "Go-" We both start, but fall down. Both of the beys stop spinning. A draw. The principal walks over and helps us up. "Well," She starts. "Since it was a draw, and Shawn knocked out more beys then Jake, Shawn is our winner!" I am shocked. I look over to Jake. "You deserved it more, trust me." He says as he gives me a thumbs up. "Thanks buddy." I say as I give him a high five. I can't believe it. I'm going to the championships.

Bladers of the Nation
-The next day-
"I can't believe it!" Taylor says as she hugs me. "You made it to the championships!" She adds. "You did awesome man!" Jake says. "We'll be watching!" D.J. adds. "Thanks guys." I say. "I won't let you down! I promise! I will be on the American team!" I say as I walk off to meet the principal. "Well Shawn." She says. "Are you ready?" She asks. "Yeah!" I respond. We start walking towards the taxi that will take us to the airport.
As soon as we get there, she makes sure I have everything I need. "I have my phone, bey, iPod, camera, clothes, and other stuff." I say as we walk to the plane boarding area. She wishes me luck as I get onto a plane to Washington D.C. for the national battle. I take my seat and take out my iPod. I mess around on Angry Birds for a little while and then eventually fall asleep.
I wake up about 5 minutes before we land. As soon as they land, I gather my stuff and run out of the airport. I have my special I.D. card for the championships. I walk to the hotel, for it's only a block away from the airport. I walk into the door and up to the check-in table. I flash my I.D., and they give me a key to my room. I get in there and fall asleep for the rest of the night.
I wake up at 6 a.m., like normal. I put on clothes, bursh my teeth, eat breafast, and walk down to the training room. I'm the 3rd person there. "hello!" 1 says as his bey smashes through several targets. "Nice job Byxis!" He says as he catches his bey. He's a little shorter than me, with blonde hair, blue eyes. He's wearing a bomber jacket, khaki pants, and a pair of nice shoes. "What's your name?" I ask. "Alfred F. Jones." He responds. "And this is my bey, Phantom Byxis GB145R2F." "Sweet!" I respond.
The other boy walks up. "I'm Karan Brar." He says. "This is my partner, Meteo L-Drago LW105LF." Karan is about my height, with short black hair, and a REAL natural tan. He has a red and orange hat with a yellow L-Drago motif on it, a red sports jacket, a black shirt under it, some black skinny jeans, and a pair of red Jordan's. "What's your name?" He asks. "Shawn Faircloth." I respond and take out Eagle. "This is my bey, Duo Eagle SW145WD." "Cool! Would you like to battle?" Alfred asks. "Sure!" We all run over to the stadium and ready our beys. "3! 2! 1!" I grip my launcher tightly. "GO SHOOT!" We all shout and shoot our beys in. The collide with amazing strength and force. I think I've found the 2 bladers to join me on top.

The Battle Begins!
"Go L-Drago!" Karan shouted as I watched his battlie in the championships. He was facing the blader from Washington. "L-DRAGO!" He shouted. "GO! SPECIAL MOVE! DRAGON SOARING RAGE!" The L-Drago beast appeared and flew into the air. He came down in a firey explosion and kocked out the other bey. "Alright Karan!" Alfred shouted and jumped in the air. Karan came back with a smile on his face. "You're up next, Shawn." He says. "I know." I say. I get up and start walking out of the room. "Good luck Shawn!" Karan and Alfred shout.
I walk out the the stadium. "Here's our next battle!" The ref shouts. "The representitive of North Carolina, Shawn Faircloth!" I smile and wave. "He's his opponent, the representitive of Texas, Vance Martinez!" He walk out from the shadow of the waiting area. He's around 15 and has neck length black hair and brown eyes. He's wearing a brown jacket with a ram's head on it, black pants, and silver shoes. "He must use Aries." I think. I take out my Eagle. "Bring it Vance!" I say as I show him Eagle. "Consider it brought." He says as he takes out his Thermal Aries and shows it to me. We ready our beys. "Alright!" The ref starts. "3! 2! 1!" My grip tightens. "GO SHOOT!" We both shout.
Eagle instantly smashes Aries into the wall. "No! Aries!" Eagle goes in for the kill. "EAGLE! SPECIAL MOVE! CLAWING UPPERCUT!" I shout as eagle tosses Aries into the air. "GO GO!" I shout as Eagle flies into the air. "EAGLE! TWIN TURBO SMASH!" I shout as Eagle sets on fire and smashes Aries into the stadium. Aries stops spinning. I catches Eagle. "The winner is Shawn Faircloth of North Carolina!" The ref shouts. "Yeah! Alright!" I shout and hold Eagle in the air. "We're going to the finals!" I shout. I run back into the room were Alfred and Karan are waiting.
They give me high fives. "Alfred, you're up next." I say. "Yup!" He says and starts walking out. "Me and Byxis won't let 'cha down." Me and Karan smile. He walks up to the stadium. "The representer of New York, Alfred Jones vs the representer of Florida, Joseph Dawson!" The ready their beys. "3! 2! 1!" The ref shouts. "GO SHOOT!" They shout, and as soon as the battle begins, it's over. And the winner is Alfred.

The Finals Begin!
"Rumor has it!" I heard Alfred singing along to. "Really Alfred?" I ask. "Adele?" "Yes." He responds. "She is the best singer on the planet." "Well you need to stop focusing on here, and focus on your game plane." Karan says. "The finals are very soon, and the opponents are strong." "i know, I know." He responds. "But that doesn't mean I can't have a little fun." "You New Yorkers..." I say, laughing. "Always looking for fun."
"Shawn Faircloth to the stage!" I hear the ref shout. "Welp, I'm next!" I say, happily. I walk out of the room to the stadium. The crowd roars as I wave. "GO SHAWN!" I hear a familier voice shout. I look up to see D.J., Taylor, and Jake in the stands. "I'll win for you guys!" I shout and give a thumbs up. I see the opponent and get serious. "We have Shawn Faircloth of North Carolina vs Angela Stiger of Ohio!" She was shorter than me and looked young. Around 8 or 9. She took out her bey, Libra DF145BS. "I should go easy on her..." I thought.
"Bladers ready!" The ref shouts. We ready our beys. "3! 2! 1!" He shouts. "GO SHOOT!" We both shout and launch our beys. "GO EAGLE!" I shout as Eagle smacks into Libra, but Libra doesn't budge. "What the..." I mumble. "GO GO LIBRA!" She shouts. Her Libra sends out a huge blast of energy. Eagle gets smashed with the blast, but is still spinning. "WHOA!" I shout. "EAGLE! FLY!" Eagle flies into the air. "GO EAGLE! SPECIAL MOVE! TWIN TURBO SMASH!" I shout as Eagle sets on fire and comes down at a high speed. Angela laughs. "Huh?" I say. "Go Libra! Special move!" She starts. "I'm so dead." I think.

The Legendary Blader
"Libra!" Angela shouted. "Libra! Final Inferno Flare!" Libra shouts a huge beam of energy right at Eagle. "No!" I shout as Eagle gets thrown down into the side of the stadium. This causes a huge explosion and I fly back into the wall of the arena. I sit there, in pain, and think about what I'm supposed to do. "C'MON SHAWN!" I hear D.J. shout. "YOU CAN'T GIVE UP NOW!" "DON'T LOSE!" Jake shouts. "I KNOW YOU CAN DO IT!" Taylor adds. "USE YOUR SPIRIT!" As soon as I heard that I open my eyes and stand up. "I WON'T LOSE!" I shout as that purple aura starts to glow. I turn to them. "Thanks guys." I say and smile. I start walking back to the stadium when Taylor calls my name.
I turn around. "Shawn... I... I love you." She says. My cheeks turn bright red. I then realize what I must do. "I will win." I say. "I swear it." I start walking back to the stadium, with even more confindence and power. "ALRIGHT EAGLE!" I start. "LET'S TRY THIS AGAIN!" The aura gets bigger. Eagle flies into the air. Angela laughs and prepairs her next special move. "LIBRA! FINAL INFERNO FLARE!" She shouts. Libra powers up. "GO EAGLE! LEGEND MOVE!" I shout and hear Angela gasp. The crowd goes silent. "EAGLE! CROSS WIND DESTROYER!" As Libra blasts the beam of energy, Eagle counters it. "EAGLE!!!!" I shout as he destroys the energy. "No! Libra!" Angela shouts as Eagle smashes it from above.
A stadium out. I win and catch Eagle. "ALRIGHT!" I shout. "I'M A MEMBER OF THE AMERICAN TEAM!" I continue. "I AM A LEGENDARY BLADER!" D.J., Taylor, and Jake all run out to congradulate me. "You sure are!" D.J. adds. I hug Taylor, who's cheeks were red as a tomato. We both laughed as Karan and Alfred ran out to join us. "Well," They all said. "Kiss her!" I stared into her eyes and, in the heat of the moment, kissed her. As I pull away, I realize. This was my first kiss. We smile. As I hug her once more, I whisper in her ear, "I'll be back once I win the world series. I promise."
"Celebration time's over." Alfred says. "My battle's up next." I nod in agreement. "Good luck man." I say. "Hmph." He says and turns to see his opponent on the board. The champion of South Carolina. Anna Marie Gray and her bey, Beat Lynx TH170WD. I stand beside him. "it's only gonna get tougher from here man." I say. "I know right..." He responds and takes out Byxis. "I know right..." He repeats and clinches Bysix tightly in his fist.

The True Power of Byxis, Revealed!
We all watched as Alfred walked up to the stadium. Here came his opponent, Anna Marie Gray. She had peach-white tan skin, was tall, skinny, had black hair, and blue eyes. She was wearing a red sweater, a white button-up shirt underneath it, and a pair of skinny jeans. She seemed nice, but I know how strong she is. I've battled her before and the battle ended with a tie and both of us in the hospitle. "Anna Marie..." I thought. "Good luck Alfred." As Alfred readied Byxis, she readied Lynx. "Bladers ready! 3! 2! 1!" The ref shouts. "GO SHOOT!" They both shout and launch their beys.
"GO BYXIS!" Alfred shouts. "LYNX!" Anna Marie shouts. They clash with a huge amount of power. Anna Marie takes a step back. "You're pretty good!" She says in a country accent. "You're not that bad either!" Alfred responds. "You haven't seen any thing yet." She says. "BYXIS!" Alfred shouts. "GET THAT KITTY!" "Not so fast!" Anna Marie says. "GO LYNX!" That's when Lynx's track got taller and Byxis flew right under Lynx. "What?!" Alfred exclaimed in shock. "How the heck did that happen?!" Anna Marie laughed. "That's the power of my Lynx!" She says. "Go Lynx! Special Move! Lynx Clawing Assult!" Lynx split into 4 beys and attacked Byxis. Hard. Byxis flew into the air. "NO!" Alfred shouts as Byxis just barely hits the edge of the stadium.
"How's that for a kitty?" Anna Marie asks. "Powerful." Alfred responds. Byxis spins around the stadium. "How is he supposed to win?" I think. "Wait. I remember how I almost won. I attacked from the bottom." Alfred commands Byxis to attack, but misses again. Lynx starts to attack Byxis now. Lynx's got Byxis to the edge of that stadium. "I must win!" Alfred says. That's when a blue-green aura surrounds Alfred. He hides his face. "I will show you..." He starts. "I will show you the true power of my Byxis!" He shouts and shows his face.
"BYXIS! SPECIAL MOVE! ULTAMITE DESTINY DESTROYER!" He shouts. Byxis is surrounded by the same blue-green aura. Anna Marie's expression changes from happy to scared. "GO NOW BYXIS!" Alfred shouts as the aura grows even bigger than before. Byxis blasts a huge beam of energy at Lynx. "LYNX! MOVE!" Anna Marie shouts as Lynx changes his track height, but it's to late. The energy smashes into the track and blows Lynx out of the stadium. Alfred wins and catches Byxis. We run out there. "You did it man!" I shout. "I did?" He asked. He looks dazed, like he was gonna faint. "Dude are you alright?" Karan asks. "No." Alfred says and falls to his knees, fainted.

Alfred sits in the hospitil as Karan walks up to the stadium. He stood there, looking confident. Here came his opponent. Brandon Piero, the blader from New Mexico, and his bey Ray Gil 100RSF. "I wonder how Karan will fight..." Taylor says. I look over and nod. They ready their beys. "ALRIGHT! BLADERS! 3!2!1!" The ref shouts. "GO SHOOT!" They both shout as they launch their beys.
"L-DRAGO!" Karan shouts. "GIL!" Brandom shouts. Their beys clashed with amazing force, but Gil was blown back. "How the..." Brandon mumbles. "Wait. IT'S A LEFT ROTAITING BEY!" "Took you long enough." Karan says as L-Drago gains power. L-Drago soars into the air. "SOECIAL MOVE! DRAGON SOARING RAGE!" Karan shouts as the beast of L-Drago, the dragon, appears in the sky. He roars and soars down, aiming for Gil. L-Drago smashes into the top of Gil, but nothing happens. I hear a horrible screeching noise in my ears. No one else can hear it.
Then I realize. "IT'S A TRAP KARAN!" I shout. "HE'S BREAKING L-DRAGO'S WHEEL! GET OUT OF THERE!" Karan looks shocked. He looks down to see L-Drago. "L-DRAGO! GET OUT OF THERE!" He shouts as L-Drago moves. "NOW GIL!" Brandon shouts. "SPECIAL MOVE! BONES OF DEATH!" Gil's beast appears and comes down right on top of L-Drago, causing a huge explosion. Karan falls over.
"I can't lose now..." Karan says. "I made a promise!" He's surrounded by an orange aura. He stands up. "L-DRAGO!!!!" He shouts and L-Drago gains speed, even under Gil. "What the?!" Brandon says. "GO L-DRAGO!" Karan shouts. "SPECIAL MOVE! ULTIMATE ROARING DRAGON BLAST!" L-Drago sets on fire and sends Gil flying through the air. "GOOOOOO!" Karan shouts as the aura gets even bigger. L-Drago flies after Gil. L-Drago then smashes him into the ground from the preformance tip. Karan did it. He won. "GIL! NO!" Brandon shouts and falls to his knees in defeat.
Karan catches L-Drago. We all run out there. "That was awesome!" D.J. exclaims. "Yeah! Nice one man!" I say and give him a high five. "We made it to the American Team! We're going to the world championships!" "Yeah!" Karan shouts. "We will be number one! We both shout and hold our beys in the air. The crowd roars. "I can't believe it." I think. "We made it to the championships. Things are gonna get hard, Eagle."

This is awesome!
