I'm fairly sure it does... GuardianRevizer's sig got deleted, and it had a 500x200 pic and several lines of text.

It does.
That's the reason why I started using 300x100 signatures with 3-4 lines of text below it.
100 + 3x16 = 148 px tall by 300 wide.
I have a large tag in a spoiler, and it doesn't count towards the 500x200 px mark, cause it's not viewable.
1 px should be fine, I'd be really surprised if Kai-V or anyone deleted a sig with a 201 height.

It was just realised to be too large. Mods don't always notice that a signature is too large right away, as they're very busy.

I really don't have an issue with signatures being a few pixels bigger, but it's quite ridiculous that some users' face collection extend far greater than the signature limit ..

A signature does not only consist of a picture ... That is just called a "signature picture". A signature includes everything, including text lines, space between those text lines, etc.
No, your signature was completely removed and not saved, so you would have to rebuild it.

I also agree there should be a set amount of displayable faces, but we will save that one for another day.
Faces are also something earned, and to be proud of. (anyone can plop in a signature)

ello, sorry for bringing this issue up again, but it seems i can't use flickr for my sig pics anymore either. apparently my pic of a blue inferno hell kerbecs with text in said pic got deleted without alerting me, photobucket won't let me do anything without giving me a square saying "this user has either deleted or removed this picture" and puush is glitching on me and saying something else is using it. if anyone knows a picture sharing service that isn't a piece of carp (censored myself there on purpose
) that would be really helpful, as apparently puush, flickr, and photobucket are worth about the same as a completely trashed beyond repair bey, to use a beyblade simile. so if anyone could help me find a picture sharing service not worth carp (censored myself again
), i would really appreciate it.
