Nah, he's right. Hyperblades are basically 4d recolors. 

Bakuten Shoot had hyperblades too, but I don't know the context for that one.

But hasbro bakuten shoot looked almost like tt. How come tbey had to do that for bakuten shoot? Unless you mean beyblade legends

You can make Brave using "Pro" Evolution, Aero, and recolored ring and chips but surprised they didn't just make it a starter tbh.

I kinda expected it because the recolors has SPM, Also Satomb and Roktavor had SPM. Valtryek was the only one with no SPM so Valtryek couldn't have been in a Starter Pack.

If you remember, there are two copies of hyperion and helios. One has discs, one has disc-chassis and spm tips. The other set is the other copies.
