It is a result of a poll. It happened in Japan. And yes it has been confirmed to be an attack type because that’s what this booster says. Vol. 23 random booster b-176 legend attack booster. But people in Japan voted on which attack type they wanted an evolution of in the top 15 bladers of the WBBA.

Remember that this Random Booster never claimed it was owned by a Legendary Blader, nor was it labelled "Legend Attack-Type Bey" and since Daina was dropped out of the legendary rankings, it makes sense when you think about it.

I guess so, that or it could be based on what Zeutron said about it being based on the winners of the 2020 characters popularity polls (Daina was 5th). Either way, they're the only explanations I can think of as to why Deathscyther was picked considering how slim the chance for it was. Maybe Xcalibur would've been too heavy for a Random Booster and they wanted to save that for a booster.

I'm just saying that maybe if they were going to make an evolution to Xcalibur in the near future, have the gimmick be metal on the Layer Ring (just like the previous two Xcalibur beys) and have a Chassis, it would probably be too heavy for a Random Booster or else it would be a bit easier to find the prize bey by its heavier weight (unless the other bey combos were just as heavy).

Remember that Curse Satan and Death/Abyss Diabolos had lighter stock combos to make it harder to predict the prize bey by weight. The Deathscyther series has always had light stock combos, whilst Xcalibur had really heavy ones so I think if Xcalibur had to be made into Sparking, it would be in a booster.
