RE: Beyblade Burst Hasbro topic - Coming to North America August 2016! - TrainiacJ - Aug. 11, 2016 (Aug. 11, 2016 5:02 PM)BeyGabe Wrote:(Aug. 11, 2016 3:07 PM)Hato Wrote: When Kai-V found the names for 4 new beys, I was able to find the trademarks for them, and wanted to search more of the trademarks by TAKARA-TOMY, but I didn't know how to. After trying again, I found a way, and it seems Hasbro already has all the names for future releases that are known and unknown, changed and trademarked. Go here to the page to see all the names. I looked up Phantazus, and apparently "Phantasos" is a god of surreal dreams. Then again, Hasbro's other names barely resemble the things the layers are based on, so it could be something else entirely. RE: Beyblade Burst Hasbro topic - Coming to North America August 2016! - bigdaddyjoe - Aug. 11, 2016 English renames for "Beyblade Burst" (Original source: http://www.trademarkia.com/company-tomy-company-ltd-1245674-page-1-1 ) '''Original Series''' Amaterios → Amaterios Chaos → Caynox Deathscyther → Doomscizor Evil-eye → Evipero Horusood → Horusood Kerbeus → Kerbeus Minoboros → Minoboros Neptune → Nepstrius Odin → Odax Ragnaruk → Roktavor Spriggan → Spryzen Trident → Treptune Unicorn → Unicrest Valkyrie → Valtryek Wyvern → Wyvron Xcalibur → Xcalius Yggdrasil → Yegdrion '''Dual Layer System''' Baldur → Baderov Beast Behemoth → Betromoth B2 Dark Deathscyther → Doomscizor D2 Exceed Evil-eye → Evipero E2 Fang Fenrir → Fengriff F2 Gigant Gaia → Gaianon G2 Holy Horusood → Horusood H2 Jeir Jormungand → Jormuntor J2 Kaiser Kerbeus → Kerbeus K2 Lost Longinus → Luinor L2 Mad Minoboros → Minoboros M2 Nova Neptune → Nepstrius N2 Obelisk Odin → Odax O2 Quad Quetzalcoatl → Quetziko Q2 Rising Ragnaruk → Roktavor R2 Storm Spriggan → Spryzen S2 Unlock Unicorn → Unicrest U2 Victory Valkyrie → Valtryek V2 Wild Wyvern → Wyvron W2 Xeno Xcalibur → Xcalius X2 Yeager Yggdrasil → Yegdrion Y2 Zillion Zeus → Zeutron Z2 RE: Beyblade Burst Hasbro topic - Coming to North America August 2016! - ObeliskAlex0311 - Aug. 11, 2016 But that is the only thing that is related to the beylogger and theirs nothing else besides QR codes RE: Beyblade Burst Hasbro topic - Coming to North America August 2016! - BeyGabe - Aug. 11, 2016 Idk why but the app keeps crashing whenever I try to play in the actual battle RE: Beyblade Burst Hasbro topic - Coming to North America August 2016! - Kai-V - Aug. 11, 2016 Ugh. Hasbro never, ever changes. Even knowing the trademark restrictions, they could have come up with much better names... RE: Beyblade Burst Hasbro topic - Coming to North America August 2016! - Real_ilinnuc - Aug. 11, 2016 Ugh. These names are really bad. Like... really bad. They just aren't needed at all. Also, I can't get the app yet ![]() RE: Beyblade Burst Hasbro topic - Coming to North America August 2016! - TL14 - Aug. 11, 2016 These names remind me of the names in GOTEM (a board game that I made back in 2012 and that I´m still making). RE: Beyblade Burst Hasbro topic - Coming to North America August 2016! - Bey Brad - Aug. 11, 2016 Thanks for the summary bigdaddyjoe (lol). I would be careful about assuming that "X2" would be added even if there was no Basic equivalent. I would expect, for example, that Zillion Zeus would be just Zeutron. It's possible it could be Zeutron Z2, but we don't know yet. RE: Beyblade Burst Hasbro topic - Coming to North America August 2016! - Howaitonekon - Aug. 11, 2016 These names sound like North European adaptions of Transformers (if this makes any sense though). I'm not disappointed about the names, just a bit confused with some of them. But: If the acutal Dual Layers are released with "Name Letter2" I'm little disappointed though. That's just super lazy. Well, whatever, I can call my Beyblade whatever I like to, so, it's not really that much of a problem. A lot more interesting is the quality and the parts of Hasbro's releases. 'Cause you know... Hasbro. But I'm definitely up for some great recolors, for me personally Hasbro released some of best recolors with some of their series. RE: Beyblade Burst Hasbro topic - Coming to North America August 2016! - shadowphoenix - Aug. 11, 2016 (Aug. 11, 2016 7:03 PM)DrigerGatling Wrote: These names sound like East European adaptions of Transformers (if this makes any sense though). Upgraded versions of the beyblade or a different model? RE: Beyblade Burst Hasbro topic - Coming to North America August 2016! - Howaitonekon - Aug. 11, 2016 The actual Burst releases are "prototype beys", just like the Pre-HWS series of MFB, so the exclusive Takara releases before Metal Fusion. There's actually no real difference. The "old" Burst beys have colored plastic and on top the clear plastic cover. The "newer" ones have a different design, so the colored plastic parts also stick out and are part of the contact points. That's actually everything. The layers can't be detatched, so I don't really understand Takaras intention to rename the Layer. RE: Beyblade Burst Hasbro topic - Coming to North America August 2016! - Bey Brad - Aug. 11, 2016 (Aug. 11, 2016 7:14 PM)DrigerGatling Wrote: The actual Burst releases are "prototype beys", just like the Pre-HWS series of MFB, so the exclusive Takara releases before Metal Fusion. I don't know if it's fair to call them prototypes. They're real products that were released. But it's definitely a softer push compared to the Dual Layer releases. BTW, the pre-Hybrid Wheel System Beys are called Metal System. RE: Beyblade Burst Hasbro topic - Coming to North America August 2016! - XYZ-Jaden - Aug. 11, 2016 Quote:Can you please, or anyone else here, explain the Dual Layer system and 'Name Letter 2' versions of beyblades in burst? Upgraded versions of the beyblade or a different model? Dual Layers are like the second generation of the original layers. They work the way the "Galaxy" fusion wheel(from galaxy pegasus) was the evolution of "storm" from storm pegasus. They are a single complete part, with no interchangeability between layers(so there will never be a "storm valkyrie" or "victory spriggan.") They work with disks and drivers exactly the same way as the earlier layers do. They are called dual layers because both the clear plastic of the layer, AND the colored plastic make contact with the opposing beys, whereas before, only the clear plastic did this. As far as the naming goes, for Hasbro, it looks like they did away with TT's prefixes (i.e. Victory Valkyrie), and opted to just put _2 after the name to signify that it's a dual layer. So "Valtryek" is the original layer, and Valtryek V2 is the dual layer. Hope this helps! RE: Beyblade Burst Hasbro topic - Coming to North America August 2016! - RexWolfen41 - Aug. 11, 2016 I think DrigerGatling is saying that the original Burst beys are somewhat similar to the Pre-HWS beys. RE: Beyblade Burst Hasbro topic - Coming to North America August 2016! - BeyCrafter - Aug. 11, 2016 Maybe so, but the Basic layers are in the Hasbro Burst app. This gives us that they might release the Basic layer beys. RE: Beyblade Burst Hasbro topic - Coming to North America August 2016! - TL14 - Aug. 11, 2016 I just laughed so hard and cried at the same time when I read the new names. They sound so weird and I think there was no reason for Hasbro to rename these Beys. I just hope they don´t rename the disks and drivers, too. Hopefully they don´t give the Beys random recolors. RE: Beyblade Burst Hasbro topic - Coming to North America August 2016! - RexWolfen41 - Aug. 11, 2016 I actually would like that! Imagine it: Valtryek and Valtryek V2? I love it! RE: Beyblade Burst Hasbro topic - Coming to North America August 2016! - XYZ-Jaden - Aug. 11, 2016 (Aug. 11, 2016 7:29 PM)Zera Wrote: I just laughed so hard and cried at the same time when I read the new names. Sorry to say it looks like they did, giving them something like production codes rather than their regular names ![]() RE: Beyblade Burst Hasbro topic - Coming to North America August 2016! - Blader Cam - Aug. 11, 2016 To be honest, despite my hating of the names like everyone else, I'm pretty happy that they're releasing single layers. Lets all just appreciate that for a moment. RE: Beyblade Burst Hasbro topic - Coming to North America August 2016! - Real_ilinnuc - Aug. 11, 2016 I feel like Hasbro would be missing out on a goldmine if they didn't do the BeyLogger RE: Beyblade Burst Hasbro topic - Coming to North America August 2016! - Bey Brad - Aug. 11, 2016 (Aug. 11, 2016 7:40 PM)NeptuneGT Wrote: To be honest, despite my hating of the names like everyone else, I'm pretty happy that they're releasing single layers. RE: Beyblade Burst Hasbro topic - Coming to North America August 2016! - Infinity-Z - Aug. 11, 2016 But if they do release the original layers, who's to say that they won't mess with the weight or the teeth? RE: Beyblade Burst Hasbro topic - Coming to North America August 2016! - B@dgerV@nguard - Aug. 11, 2016 I find the app to keep crashing, I know its probally cause its new and all, or its just me. Is anyone else having this problem? RE: Beyblade Burst Hasbro topic - Coming to North America August 2016! - Brisk AquarioHD - Aug. 11, 2016 Huh. The Hasbro names sound a little noobish tbh. Not very fond of them but they don't seem bad. Not hard to pronounce tho. Unicrest? What the.. xD RE: Beyblade Burst Hasbro topic - Coming to North America August 2016! - Bey Brad - Aug. 11, 2016 (Aug. 11, 2016 8:04 PM)Infinity-Z Wrote: But if they do release the original layers, who's to say that they won't mess with the weight or the teeth? This is just speculation. If anything, it would be likely that they would fix the teeth, not worsen them. |
