Yeah I'm definitely not going to be able to get this launch day. I opted to buy some bey. It's definitely on my 'buy' list. But that will probably be after April 10th when my semester ends.

Has anyone decided on a team to start from scratch yet?
I'm thinking Typloshion, Tyranitar, Notch Eared Pichu (or possibly shiny Raichu), Arceus, Metagross, Latios...
Completely and utterly useless for anything like the battle tower, but lets face it.
Legendaries are Legendary for a reason, if you've got them, flaunt them.
Part of me is considering choosing Totodile as a starter, but I just prefer fire types overall.
Also, how many people have downloaded the Pikachu colored Pichu so far?

I would only suggest using a walkthrough when you get stuck otherwise there's no point playing the game.

I'm still undecided but was thinking somewhere along the lines of:

Dragonite then possibly replaced by Latios if I get one
Raichu/Ampharos/Zapdos/Luxray
Venusaur/Exeggcutor/Torterra
Blastoise/Poliwrath/Feraligatr
Charizard/Ninetales/Arcanine
(If no Latios or Exeggcutor, Lugia)

Not sure what the sixth one would be. Could either be another of the ones above, or I could just get something I like like an Absol or Eevee (wish I had a Shaymin, Mew or Jirachi).....a Bronzong/Metagross/Garchomp could be useful, 'cept I hate them all. =_= Possibly Lanturn, Gallade, Medicham (though it's ugly as hell), Sableye...actually I do quite like Sableye, could very well be Sableye.

In any case, I don't want to make my team too similar to yours Elliott so part of what I pick will probably be based on that too.

Typhlosion (Ditch me starter? Are you NUTS?)
Shaymin (Aww... iso cute.... yeah, i'll be battling with sky forme)
Pichu (Staller~)
Rhydon (My team Sponge, the pokemon with high HP and Defense to take hits while i use items ECT)

2 Reasons:
1) Trade Evolution is BORING
2) Rhyperior is not only ugly, but overused.

I can get away with this because Rhydon has the stats of a fully evolved pokemon due to being one for 3 generations. I figured if i don't want a Rhyperior, why get one?

Besides, it learns moves faster. As a matter a fact, all most pokemon take longer to learn moves as they move on with there lives. If you pull an everstone or a B button on everyone, your Squirtle can be Hydropumpin' at level 31, 23 levels earlier than a Blastiose.

It's A 4th Gen pokemon that Which Rhydon Evoles into when traded with a Item.

Man, your not the only one, I hardly know anything about the 4th generation of Pokemon. My team will at least have Typhlosion, Sceptile and Salamence, I'm not sure on the others yet, I might just go with any random ones that i feel like at the time.

When I Heard about Pokemon And Liked it, It was the Fourth Gen. But I still don't know why i don't know them all yet.

You may want to rethink those names as well
