H18 has over 50 unique ones, I have collected several mythical creature motifs, any of them could be selected.

Divine Belial? Very interesting. I heard from Zaynke a Belial Evo is 100% confirmed, and here it is. It comes with Nexus (sigh...) and a new driver. And the Blade is equipped with metal! I'm excited to see how the Bey will be at the end.
And the name is really "Burst Ultimate". Okay, I'm waiting to see "Burst Ultra" for the dub. XD
But there's still the question if there'll be an Anime for the last season. I think not.

Nexus isn’t that bad, just get your hand on the S Gear and it becomes the best part for attack so Over and Giga can be used on stamina/defense

BU will most likely be DB 2. The reason divine has metal on it is because it doesn't have an armor. It could potentially have another gimmick.

Divine Belial sounds like an interesting name. its cool that they are still sticking with the DBL naming pattern. The reuse of 3 makes sense, Belial is known for its 3 bladed shape and Nexus isn't bad either. I'm curious to see what Ad could be. Adrenaline? Advent? time will tell i suppose.
Ngl, i'm fine with the idea of DB2 now. Just hoping more new motifs.

This is exactly what I was afraid of. It’s literally not even all new parts. Shocked everyone’s ok with this considering how unoriginal this entire DB2 thing even is. I just hope this is just a rumor and the first Beyblade of a new series doesn’t reuse TWO parts.

I feel the same way tbh, I certainly wouldn't mind a several-year hiatus to let things sink in (and to give my wallet a break, haha!). Since covid started, I've had two seasons (Sparking and DB) pass me by without a single tournament. Nothing against my local host, these past few years have been nuts, but it'd still be nice to actually get to use the products I'm buying rather than have them sit in storage from the moment they arrive at my place (plus, I'm running out of storage space anyways!).

The issue is that the start of the new series should be bold and big. Usually the releases have all new parts. This...is probably the most disappointing series start release ever.
Edit: I just heard this was the only release for April. If that’s the case, everyone needs to stop acting happy and start being disappointed, because that’s just sad that a new series is getting ONE release in its starting month even if it is only a new rendition of DB.

While it could've been fully new, I think this almost feels more like a Part 2 of DB, almost as if BU was just gonna be part of DB but they were forced to split DB to two years, kinda like how MFB had the same system for two years (HWS for both Season 1 & 2), that's my theory anyway.
While one new bey release per month does suck, DB has done this for so long barring the first month, and after not having new beys for nearly three months, having just one per month is a blessing for many of us at this point, so naturally, many would be more excited.

I think this goes without saying but we are in a pandemic, and we cannot expect since Sparking that Takara does so many releases per month as this has been the norm for a long time.
I think to consider BU based on the slideshow from Takara Tomy saying it will end in 2023 and how the system is set up is perfectly fine. I would find it really stupid if Takara Tomy did the DB system then did another system just to have a power creep once again. Just expanding on the DB releases is the best choice that they could've done, and it allows for DB to develop well and have a more defined meta for releases. DB has had from Dec-March filler releases, so this new content even if it is one per month I am fine with. I much rather they do DB right than they repeat HMS or Zero-G mistakes with a massive change or power creep that killed it off.
As far as the release goes, I think having 3 and Nexus are the only negative to this, I very much would've liked if they made at the very least a new armor or just use the QD armors.
Burst has a great opportunity to do this right and hopefully, these releases are done right and it can end off good.
