RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - KinkoUsagi - Jun. 18, 2020 Good amount of details on Harmony RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - originalzankye - Jun. 18, 2020 lol RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - DeltaZakuro - Jun. 18, 2020 I find it hilarious that Octave-H is advertised as a Attack tip when its basically a HyperSphere Octa which was a stamina type driver RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - snoc - Jun. 18, 2020 (Jun. 18, 2020 11:56 PM)DeltaZakuro Wrote: I find it hilarious that Octave-H is advertised as a Attack tip when its basically a HyperSphere Octa which was a stamina type driver despite not moving around as much as others, the bey as a whole has strong attack power tho RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - BuilderROB - Jun. 19, 2020 (Jun. 18, 2020 11:56 PM)DeltaZakuro Wrote: I find it hilarious that Octave-H is advertised as a Attack tip when its basically a HyperSphere Octa which was a stamina type driver Wasn’t Octa a defense type tip? Oh wow, it is. I thought this whole time Orichalcum was a defense type. Definitely strange they made a stamina type tip into an attack type tip, although Octa had some aggressiveness to it anyways so it makes a little bit of sense. RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - MagikHorse - Jun. 20, 2020 (Jun. 19, 2020 12:34 AM)BuilderROB Wrote: Oh wow, it is. I thought this whole time Orichalcum was a defense type. Definitely strange they made a stamina type tip into an attack type tip, although Octa had some aggressiveness to it anyways so it makes a little bit of sense. There's a difference between "being aggressive/having aggressiveness" and "aiding in an aggressive strategy". Ωcta doesn't really do the former, but it does do the latter. Take Burst Classic's "Ωctavor" for instance, where Ωcta is part of this rather powerful stationary Burst Attacker. It uses Roktavor's strong slopes and hammer-like contact points to deal massive blows, backed by the weight and mass of Ωcta and Heavy/Gravity. This turns out to be quite powerful, but it's because of the Roktavor layer's offensive power. Ωcta is simply supplying the weight, not the offense. Same thing applies to Ωcta-based Judgement combos, which basically do the same thing but use Judgement's power instead. Realistically it's not the only stationary driver to do something like this either. Survive/Claw/Revolve used to be great on Valkyrie as a stationary Attacker in much the same ways as Ωctavor, and yet nobody would claim that any of those are aggressive drivers at all. Heck, even Orbit and Atomic have been used for Attack combos! Surely you can see my point here that simply being in an Attack combo doesn't mean it has to be offensive. Put Ωcta on a more defensive layer like Acid Anubis/Anubion A2 and it'll act like a Defense or Stamina driver instead, which shows that Ωcta is not providing any aggressiveness at all but rather multiplying the power of whatever layer it happens to be on through its weight. It just happens to be famous mostly for being used on these offensive layers as a support part. Compare this to Charge, whose similar high weight design and decent movement forces defensive layers to attack. This means Charge is actually providing some offensive power of its own and is therefore an aggressive driver where Ωcta isn't. I will say I was in the same boat in thinking that Ωrichalcum Ωuter Ωcta was a Defense type though. RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - Champion1 - Jun. 20, 2020 I agree it's a stamina type. RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - JoMario67 - Jun. 20, 2020 Some news on Royal Genesis and the Kerbeus and Cyclops dual pack: Royal Genesis: Includes a Beyblade Burst Rise Hypersphere Royal Genesis G5 D78 TH2 (right endurance type) The router is sold with a GT tablet with right rotation. Kerbeus and Cyclops Dual Pack: Includes Beyblade Burst Rise Hypersphere Shield Kerbeus K5 D2 TH3 (defense type) and Behemoth Cyclops C5 D77 TH2 (endurance type) right spinning top Shield Kerbeus K5 is sold with a GT tablet with right rotation Hasbro's Royal Genesis is going to be a stamina type by the looks of it which is quite odd, but the listings themselves seem to be incomplete as the drivers for all three beys aren't drivers really so this could be a mistake in the listing. D78 though would be a new disc for Hasbro so maybe that will be coming with Royal Genesis, but I'm surprised there isn't a fused disc and driver for this one (maybe they're saving it for Eclipse Genesis). The Shield Kerbeus and Behemoth Cyclops dual pack listing confirms that Shield Kerbeus will be have a GT chip and base, so hooray to Hasbro for making a GT Kerbeus. That gives me hope for the Inferno Salamander listing to similarly be an evolution to Salamander from Hasbro. The Cyclops listing is showing to come with Hasbro's Convert, and we have another missing number in the driver name. Shield Kerbeus has missing numbers in its disc and driver as well, so there's no telling what it comes with as of right now. I wouldn't eliminate the chance of Cyclops having a GT layer either because of how incomplete the listings are. TL;DR Genesis may be a stamina type coming with a new disc and an unknown driver, Shield Kerbeus is a GT layer with unknown disc or driver, and Behemoth Cyclops' layer may not be a GT layer, but it comes with a Hasbro Convert and unknown driver. So if you see something like BEY HS 3PK It is EXTREMELY likely that its just old wave stuff and nothing new, have no clue why Hasbro is doing this. This also is for the "Beyblade BEY HS BATTLE HEROES 3 PK" and The Hunters 3 Pack https://www.amazon.co.uk/Beyblade-Burst-Rise-Hypersphere-Guardians/dp/B088HXTKNR/ https://www.amazon.co.uk/Beyblade-Burst-Rise-Hypersphere-Ashindra/dp/B088HZ6F3J/ https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0895QRPMJ/ Just seems like Amazon exclusive ![]() RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - BeybladeManiac0 - Jun. 22, 2020 (Jun. 18, 2020 12:09 AM)originalzankye Wrote: lord spryzen Zankye- I fear no man but that thing- *pic of Lord Devolos* Zankye- It scares me. RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - JoMario67 - Jun. 22, 2020 There's even more news from listings and pictures from Walmart. Beyblade Burst Rise Hypersphere Infinity Brink Battle Set -- Walmart Exclusive Set with Beystadium, 2 Battling Top Toys and 2 Launchers ![]() ![]() ![]() Bey Hs Soul Luinor L5 Bey Hs Flare Cobra C5 The Infinity Brink Stadium looks very interesting, kind of like the orange Hypersphere Stadium. It has this sort of target shape around the center, vertical walls like the orange hypersphere stadium, a smooth brink and this outer ring around the whole stadium. I think it looks great, the beys aren't too impressive though having discs like Spread and Upper. The colors on the layers are good though. This is also a Walmart Exclusive set. The beys are Sword Dragon Spread Valor-H, and Wizard Luinor Upper Linear-H. There's also listings for beys called Soul Luinor L5 and Flare Cobra C5 which are going to be starter packs. Soul Luinor could be a new Hasbro base, but I'm expecting a remake of Tact or Naked in this one. Flare Cobra is also neat considering Hasbro's doing the flare base with a new exclusive. There's a slight chance Cobra could be Hasbro's Hydra chip, but I wouldn't count on it. I wouldn't expect metal balls in the Flare Base either. Pretty neat stuff from Hasbro though. The Infinity Brink Battle Set should be coming out pretty soon, and Soul Luinor and Flare Cobra might come out with Wave 5 Starters along with Command Dragon and Eclipse Genesis. And might I add, while they're no exclusives Hasbro's doing a really good job making good color schemes for their beys (random combos or not). RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - originalzankye - Jun. 22, 2020 So considering the app update from the work me and Cyprus did before since "SWORD DRAGON SPREAD VALOR-H" and "WIZARD LUINOR L5 UPPER LINEAR" were put into a Hasbro exclusive deal like the walmart set it could mean that those other random Beyblades in the app will follow the same path with ZONE BALKESH B5 8’ SPIRO-H GLYPH VALTRYEK V5 1’ ORBITAL-H Could also just be thrown into another exclusive set ![]() ![]() RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - KinkoUsagi - Jun. 23, 2020 I like both those recolours a lot. Good choices, Hasbro! Flare Cobra is a really fun name. I would've preferred an evolution to Typhon, personally, but I've liked all Hasbro exclusives so far, so I'm sure this one will be fun. RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - JoMario67 - Jun. 23, 2020 To add on to earlier news, there's a listing for an old gen bey remake from Hasbro, and that's Draciel F. Glad Hasbro's making the layer more public but also as a hypersphere release since it only came with that old gen set TT released. Hopefully we'll see a Driger F from Hasbro as well. For parts I would think they would keep the 10 disc and have a hypersphere tip. It's not much but another example of Hasbro making the rarer TT beys easier to get. Source: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Beyblade-Bey-Hs-Draciel-F/188840669 RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - originalzankye - Jun. 24, 2020 Beyblade Bey Hs Storm Pegasis P5 - https://www.walmart.com/ip/Beyblade-Bey-Hs-Storm-Pegasis-P5/314680769 So Hasbro is now confirmed to be doing this MFB Remake for Hypersphere, pretty excited to see if they’re going to do Fireblaze etc.. Speculation now I’m sure for parts it’ll have 10 no frame and maybe Quick Hypersphere but who knows RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - ScytheBrine174 - Jun. 25, 2020 Would they put metal on the layer (like Takara Tomy and their own MFB)? RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - 6Jupiter5 - Jun. 25, 2020 (Jun. 25, 2020 12:06 AM)ScytheBrine174 Wrote: Would they put metal on the layer (like Takara Tomy and their own MFB)? I would think not since if it is hypersphere then they will probably not since it would give it an unfair advantage compared to the other hypersphere beys, however I could be wrong because X4 did have metal. RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - BuilderROB - Jun. 29, 2020 So I found this on Instagram, and they claim that the picture they posted is the real logo for the next series Hasbro will be calling Sparking in the West. They say it will be called Beyblade Burst Surge. This logo looks pretty legit, but take it with a grain of salt for now just in case it is not. If this is true we might get possibly speed based gimmicks. Edit: tbh it looks like they just took the rise out if the rise logo and replaced it, but we have to wait and see. |
