Either way, my post was intended to cover clarification going forward - having the data has always been the intent, and I'd held off saying much till now for various reasons but with a new series dawning it's best to make sure we're getting the data necessary to start building community knowledge early. I appreciate your opinion but wont be changing how i do winning combos until an organized play staff member says its a problem. Dont you do advertising? I would love to hear from staff or orgs who host events regularly.
As you are well aware, staff cross over to support other teams regularly, as you did with moderation in your time on the team. This is a simple clarification of the intent of the rule, not intended to start a big argument.
In terms of changing the rule - I do understand where you're coming from and why you'd ask organisers, and I think that's a great idea. I'll set up a feedback thread later today for everyone and we can thoroughly consider the policy and the pros and cons of reporting (and aspects thereof) being mandatory. In the mean time until a change or clarification is announced, I would encourage people to submit results correctly.

Here are the WCs and finally a photo of the top 3 from a London event! An exciting event as our first time testing out the BDR Ban clause (and also my first time on the Podium :D, I thank the ban XD). The ban deifnitely gave way for a lot more parts which i personally like a lot. Our winner Justinjmt has claimed a 1st place after just 3 events after being top 4 at the last one, and Umaar (who I call our attack expert) at 3rd who has consistently reached top 3 and even 1st at past events! Oh and I guess we have Maximum Garuda shot in the WCs here too....My players here like to think they're funny (jk they are all v cool).

Yeah, I was just looking at this and literally laughed out loud when I saw Whirl. I didn’t even register that it wasn’t Wind until I saw Tapered-Q and then had to backpedal to re-read Whirl.
EDIT: I realize now, that was likely to play against someone with a hasbro-only deck like a kiddo or a new player, and that is just so wholesome. I hope I’m not wrong lol.

Bearing Drift and Metal Bearing Drift were banned as per Ranked Clause.
Beys that went into the pocket and bounced back into the play area were considered knocked out as per Ranked Clause."

Awesome event today! Thanks to everyone who drove out, and huge thanks to all of the parents supporting their kiddos and their hobbies! We had quite a few new faces at this one, and I think we will be ready for the increased participant cap on the next one. Today went very smooth and super quick. Also a SPECIAL THANKS to Jeremi for co-hosting and taking the time to learn how to run these events. It would have been a lot less smooth without all the help he provided. Sounds like the next one is already starting to stack up, so we will see you all on the 17th!!

Same as the event before, 3on3 first with WBO Deck final. Short notice event that went very smoothly. Honourary shoutout to Kevgami for being our grand champion loser of the event, just barely edging out henwooja1 in a very, very close grand finals. I was not far behind this time around either.
