Aside from the stickers, that looks like every legit Dragoon F I've ever owned. The tip is a hard rubber, almost like plastic but more moldable. According to Hasbro's packaging, its increased traction comes not from the rubber being grippier but from it eventaully wearing to the perfect shape to fit your particular stadium incline.
It is, hoever, definitely rubber.

Rubber mixed with plastic, and it looks like plastic. Maybe not, maybe it is some type of weird plastic like rubber, I'm no scientist, but it looks like plastic. It must be a mix of the two, just like V and V2, although they seem heavier on the rubber.

Yes and AFAIK it's only takara not takara + Tomy cuz the companies were not merged back then (?)

I had seen a NIB one go for 90$ around a year ago on eBay. MINT might be around 60-70
And used depends on the condition. I know a friend who had a used one in bad shape he got a 15$ offer for it

It is pretty hard for me to get my hands on a Wide Defense and my question is:
Is it such a great improvement to all the combos if I use Wide Defense instead of Ten Wide and if yes is that so because of the extra gram?

Yes it's a massive improvement. Where are you looking exactly? The extra weight and the round shape. It's not often to find someone just selling it btw. I usually had to buy a lot on YJA with it in.

Wide Defense is surprisingly common in cheap Ebay lots too. Wide Survivor, on the other hand, I have never seen for sale outside japan.

I got some original boxes of European releases, they vary between 9,99€ (some G-Rev) and 14,99€ (EG), but most of them were sold for 12,95€. I guess American releases were sold for about $15.

I don't know about those other parts, but I'm pretty sure Wode Defence and even Wide Survivor(?) are heavier than ten heavy.
