You really think she is a good parent? I HONESTLY don't see how you think that. I know she was trying to discipline them but trying to take a picture of them crying? Wow good parenting. Oh and don't say she didn't know the image was going to humiliate them, she CLEARLY did. She saw their upset faces and thought that taking a humilating picture would make them learn their lesson. It has become an internet meme which is also humiliating when people take it the wrong way and she did squat (even though she couldn't have stopped them she could at least have tried telling them to stop but oh no, lets humilate them and risk getting them bullied because thats what good parents do right?!!!)

She is on par with Jozsef Barsi in terms of bad parenting (YES, I SAID THAT...AND THAT GUY MURDERED HIS WIFE AND DAUGHTER) but Jozsef was mentally unstable and that woman was probably fine and she knew what she was doing was going to make her kids a laughing stock but she went with it ANYWAY. I bet right now she is probably regreting what she did to her kids right now (No, I do not accept her half[Inserts 'A' word] apology). If I had to choose between calling her a good mother or playing E.T (Atari 2600) then it would be E.T and yet you call her a 'good mother'? If she was a good mother then she could just ground them and ban them from television, computers, buying toys and I don't mind if she sells their Beyblades (BUT TAKING A PHOTO WHICH WAS A DOOM FROM THE START? I find that extremely offensive that you call 'taking a crying photo of the boys' good parenting). She is up there wih bad parents such as Jozsef Barsi, Reece (From Murdered By My Boyfriend), Shou Tucker etc.

Hah, love that damn ET reference.
It's not THAT bad though..

Not to mention the lot winner could be a pedophile, gets their shipping address, and knows EXACTLY what the kids look like.

If you mean E.T (Atari 2600) isn't that bad, I know. There are worst games like Superman 64, Big Rigs, Plumbers Don't Wear Ties, Dark Castle (Genesis and CD-i) and Bubsy 3D.

E.T Atari is definitely just mediocre, it's not good but not that bad, people never give reasons why it's bad, all they say is how it's bad, saying it was so bad it caused the video game crash of 1983, that's not WHY it's technically bad but HOW it impacted the gaming industry, also E.T Atari did NOT cause the video game crash, it was the market being over saturated with quantity of low quality games, the burial was not the cartridges but it was unsold Atari mechanise otherwise E.T Atari would be rare.

Wait how did this become from Parenting to Video Game Myths???

I just use emulators, I'm waiting for AVGN's movie to be on DVD first.

Anyways go to a retro game store, I found an Atari 2600 console there for £15.

I really want to find E.T Atari but I can't find it.

Honestly, the Atari 2600 was a good console back then but soon died after that video game crash.
What is your favourite AVGN episode? I like Action 52, Tiger Electronics and PDWT.

Mine is pretty much all those episodes and Rob The Robot, I like Desert Bus episode and somehow the weird Big Rigs episode I had some guilty pleasures with despite it's weirdness compared to the rest.

Yeah it's an urban legend, they were NOT mainly the cartridges but defective Atari Merchandise, they chose that burial so no-one could go scavenging.


Please tell me how E.T is a bad game? It's not good but it's not that bad, there's far worse.

EDIT: yeah there's some cartridges but it's mostly unsold merchandise, otherwise E.T would be a rare game.

I never said it was good, I said it wasn't good but wasn't that bad, firstly the reason people hated he game was because no-one knew how to play it, Atari games are generally simple, it's a joystick with a button, if you have a hard time running from bad guys then hold the button whilst running, if your stuck in pits then hold the button and ease the joystick up shift it to the side and let go immediately after you escaped. If the having difficulty with humans your on game 1 the hardest game go to game 3 and they are gone.

Was that so hard? No it's easy but people can be confused by the game and generally that's why people didn't like it, it was also hyped, much like Sonic 06.

EDIT: Oh I forgot, if there is a question mark on top while your in a pit, use the button to reveal the phone pieces and if there is a roman three symbol above and there's a human press the button to send them back to their base.

I think the only bad part in ET is the pit struggle.

How about you explain to us how E.T is the worst game ever? If you think that then you have most definitely NEVER played Bubsy 3D and Plumbers Don't Wear Ties. Bubsy 3D is a game that is bad on EVERY level whether its the controls, camera, graphics, story, sound and objective. E.T is bad but it is not even close to being the worst. Like JinbeeTheShark said, the video game crash does not make it a reason on why E.T is bad, it ss what E.T did because it was bad.

Lets do a comparison...

E.T does not hold a candle for the worst game compared to Bubsy 3D, E.T had much better visuals for 1983 whether Bubsy 3D looked VERY simplistic for 1996, it was nothing but a bunch of polygons mashed up together like Star Fox except Star Fox was a better game and looked better. The framerate is very poor and I swear it goes two frames per second.
E.T doesn't have bad controls, you just need to get use to them but Bubsy 3D...this is something entirely different. The controls in Bubsy 3D are stiff, you can only move him foward and the way you turn is awkward...Bubsy has to run, stop at a pivot and turn and then the cycle repeats again.
The pits are what people did not like about E.T because they were 'tedious' but Bubsy 3D has a camera that pans down causing you to feel nauseated and also miss your jumps completely, I know it was meant for aiming but it doesn't work. At least in E.T the pits are easy to get out off and pits are meant for obstacles...the camera should not be an obstacle all on its own so E.T has an excuse...Bubsy 3D doesn't.
The sound in Bubsy 3D is terrible, Bubsy never stops talking and he has an ear busting voice. The music whilst nice and flutey is not the kind of music to get you into an action platformer and some soundtracks are forgettable. The sound affects are awful and only play when you see the cause of that sound affect. The music is also VERY faint compared to Bubsy's loud voice. In E.T the game won't pierce your ears with annoying sound and thus distracting you.
In Bubsy 3D the story is bad too, it goes like this 'Bubsy gets captured by Woolies after Bubsy has foiled them and Bubsy escaped from their rocket and went on to find atoms and rockets'...if you watch the cutscene, the Woolies said "The atoms are useless yet abundant resorces"...the atoms are meant for powering the rockets in Rayon and the Woolies redeem them as...useless? Another thing is that if the Woolies manage to capture Bubsy then they should just kill him so they are sure Bubsy won't foil their plans.
E.T had little time in development as it was rushed for the Christmas season...about 5 weeks. Bubsy 3D had like a year and whilst the creator of Bubsy 3D did not know how to use 3D tool, he should have at least took lessons before making Bubsy 3D.

What do you think of Sonic 06?

Honestly I find it to be OK, it's not a great Sonic game or game in general by any means but I do get a guilty pleasure playing from it, I bought it to see how bad it was and it wasn't that bad nor that hard, it's probably one of the better infamous bad games IMO, I know a lot of people hate Sonic 06 but I just think it's tolerable.

Poor Bubsy is dead...Unhappy He started off fine in Bubsy: Claw Encounters of Furred Kind and then went downhill until he fell in a coffin called Bubsy 3D which killed him...the indie game doesn't count and he dies there too...

Still Bubsy as a mascot is better than Awesome Possum but his last game was much worse than Awesome Possum.

Anyhow, here is my Top 10 Worst Games I have played:
10. Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde (NES) - Unfairly difficult and useless weaponary but I did manage to beat it...once.
9. Ride To Hell: Retribution (PS3, Xbox 360) - Bad controls, camera, outdated graphics but when compared to games like Superman 64 and Bubsy 3D, at least you know they did try.
8. Rascal (PS1) - Bad controls, camera and story...again, with its good graphics and animation, at least they tried but the reason why its worse than Ride To Hell: Retribution is because the controls and camera are worse.
7. Dark Castle (Genesis, CD-i) - Outdated graphics, annoying sound, broken controls for both versions.
6. Big Rigs: Over The Road Racing - Outdated graphics, lack of A.I, no sound, false advertisement but this isn't the worst because its LAUGHABLY bad (Especially 'YOUR WINNER').
5. Bubsy 3D (PS1) - ONLY 5TH?!!! It has bad graphics, awkward controls, camera, annoying sound, bad story and killed the franchise (Not that it was a great one but yeah...). Why is it only 5th? The music is OK (Some are nice, some are boring), it has wierdly funny puns and it has amusing cutscenes where Bubsy gets hurt or does some shinannigans.
4. Superman 64 (N64) - Horrible controls, repetitive and boring objectives, bad graphics, lack of effort (Even Bubsy 3D looked like more effort was put into it). The music is OK but nothing special.
3. Plumbers Don't Wear Ties (3DO) - Bad voice acting, game presented as a slide show, sexist story, annoying sound and horrible filters. It is kind of funny though...
2. Action 52 (NES) - Bad graphics, bad controls, horrible glitches, glitchy sounding music, some games are cryptic and the price of $199!!!
1. Crazy Bus (Genesis) - ...All you do is move left and right...THATS HORRIBLE! The music in the title screen is terrible, the visuals are lazy and nothing happens whatsoever other than moving left and right...
