Sr was dominating the meta, and since Sr was the only real counter to mG/G3, they had to be banned as well or they would dominate the meta once again (remember Garuda was banned before the release of Sr for a bit).

Considering that the official World Championship tournaments have it banned(Hasbro wise) I don't know if we'll be seeing it off our ban list anytime soon due to the tightness.

The tighter lock would make it a hard counter to everything other than destabilization. Which can be fixed by using atomic or revolve. It would dominate the meta more than its TT counterpart. It was destined to be banned. And unless S4 has weak teeth S4 would get banned quickly.

Well we didn't know that until just recently, but at this point, they're basically the same thing, so I personally do not see the problem.

This was so weird. It might've been due to Kerbeus' protusions on its Layer that made it hard for Fafnir F3 to spin equalize or maybe it was something else. But still, the fact that Fafnir F3 (a SwitchStrike/God Layer) got completely dominated by Kerbeus (a Basic Layer) blows my mind.

I'll look through old tests to see if I can find anything and edit my post accordingly.
I have pit this combo against S3.7M.X and D3.8G.H and it takes no burst damage. I will test it's resistance to low velocity burst when I get home from school. Raw stamina wise what is better, 8 or 7?
Note my copy of needle has the strongest spring of all my drivers and atomic is being used by F3.P.At
7 is the best disk out right now

People here are saying that K is a good counter to F3, but I've been testing my wyvron W3 against my F3 and the parry gimmick seems to be negating the spin steal quite well.
Most of the time W3 will survive the final attack from F3 that would usually stall out other layers. I've tried it a couple ways, both fast and slow launch and hand launch, wyvron W3 usually wins by a few whole revolutions.
Just something to keep in mind when testing. I was testing F3 atomic versus W3 orbit, and W3 won consistently.

If this has been asked or mentioned, I’m sorry, but do Genesis Valtryek or Kinetic Satomb have any competitive combos at all? The only thing I have from the top Tier list is Kerbeus , the 2 disk, and the Vortex and Glaive frame.

Hasbro's God Valkyrie has poor Attack power and Hasbro's Kries Satan has poor Burst resistance

V3 and S3 are outclassed. Kerbeus is only temporarily viable, so don't bank on it. 2 is viable but not the best option, you're better off with 0 or 7, then 4, and at last 5. Vortex is not really competitive and Glaive works best on left spin, while Cross has better LAD in both spin directions.
Tiny disclaimer: some differences may not be too big in regards to things like discs and frames, but are still present and worth noting.

So, I was messing around and found that J3 4F Nothing can do pretty good against G3 7C At. It almost obliterated my G3 stamina in a few hits. Can we try some testing with other top tier combos against J3 4F Nothing? Would be appreciated!
