Yoshi is only the greatest Mario character ever, for one.

Secondly, you probably liked Mario 64 as a kid, right? I never beat it, so it gives me something to do if there's literally nothing else.

The New Super Mario Brothers was just a fun game. It had some interesting new powerups, and the replay value is pretty large.

RE: Nintendo DS - Blue - Dec. 01, 2007

lol thanks for the info. if i do buy a ds I want a platformer
sadly, no i never played m64

BUT I meant to address roan and his view on brain age and the like?

RE: Nintendo DS - Roan - Dec. 01, 2007

Brain Age and Flash Focus are not games.

If you're going to buy a DS at least invest in things that put the system to good use and aren't utter carp.

Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, Pokemon Diamond/Pearl, Mario Kart DS, etc. are games you should be looking into.

I just find it hard to believe that anyone would consider buying a DS for games like Flash Focus.

It boggles my mind.

RE: Nintendo DS - Bey Brad - Dec. 01, 2007

To me, Brain Age seems like something you pick up on a whim to kill time, not something you pick up the system for.

At the same time, Roan, Brain Age sold ridiculously well and is one of the cornerstone's of the DS' success.

Well that's what I meant.

I had Brain Age, but it sure as hell wasn't what I bought my DS for. lol

I know there are other games, but I don't know them...really
the library is good, so when I do get it ...there umm there

these are just puzzle games, that aren't like anything else on anything else.

there's plenty of awesome puzzle games on the DS, I wouldn't call those puzzle games

RE: Nintendo DS - Blue - Dec. 01, 2007

w.e. I mean there are straightup, thinking exercises

RE: Nintendo DS - Fleetscut - Dec. 01, 2007

RE: Nintendo DS - Roan - Dec. 01, 2007

Meteos is a great game too.

I've spent hours just going through the sound test on that game. Some of the beats are really addicting. Great game though.

RE: Nintendo DS - Blue - Dec. 01, 2007

haha thanks, I wiki'd meteos looks great.

but we all forgotten... Should I get a dslite ? - as opposed to getting a psp eventually

RE: Nintendo DS - Blue - Dec. 01, 2007

n.m mario kart looks like reason enough, racing

oh and scratch flashfocus read some reviews Uncertain lamed

RE: Nintendo DS - OSW - Dec. 01, 2007

Flash Focus is good. The sports games are fun too.
Contra 4 is incredibly hard. Took me hundreds of attempts to clear easy mode.
Super Mario 64 DS was a great remake in my opinion.
Also been playing Dragon Quest Joker recently, it's a good game.

And I can';t forget to mention Ouendan 2, brilliant game.

it came out for NES, though I suppose if you have All Stars ...

You can also get a GBA cart with SMB3 on it.

RE: Nintendo DS - sam's temp - Dec. 01, 2007

RE: Nintendo DS - Crimson - Dec. 05, 2007

I got Contra 4 today.

carp HARD..
I got 2 gameovers in the first level.

Then I realized I was being retarded and not using the R-Button (Which makes you stay still, and just makes the d-pad change your direction).
But still, this game is carp TOUGH.

Just means I have even more to work for.

RE: Nintendo DS - Nic - Dec. 06, 2007

Phantom Hourglass has a fun concept but it's too easy, short and ugly. Such a pity.

RE: Nintendo DS - Litrid - Dec. 06, 2007

I like Star Fox Command that was fun playing all the different Arwings and especially that each person has their own custom Arwing I just love it. I did have the game but it was stolen along with my Black DS.......But thx to Ichida he bought me a new one and I said to him that I would repay him.

RE: Nintendo DS - Alice - Dec. 06, 2007

I've started playing 'Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney' from the beginning again and God, I love this game. I want to buy 'Justice For All' - is it just as good? Longer/shorter? Easier/harder?

RE: Nintendo DS - Litrid - Dec. 06, 2007

eh I think Phoenix Wright is weird....
