Wide Defense, as its name implies is the widest of the “Defense” series of Bottoms (D, SD, WD, PD DS and EWD).

GRAMMA.

Why do you spend a whole paragraph comparing WD to RS for defence when it doesn't even stack up to WB?

RE: BB-95 Flame Byxis 230WD Draft - machipz - Jan. 14, 2011

I too agree, but Chipz has done some tests with WD Vs. WB comparison. I'm sure he'll redo the tests when he gets back to Melbourne; he says WD works quite well when banked at such an angle that the border has made contact with the arena. MF Libra C145WD actually works quite well when banked and acheives similar results to MF Libra C145WB.

I can do some inaccurate testing in a HMS Tornado Balance Stadium...

I just took it from the previous wide defense sections. That are published already. But I was thinking of cutting over half of it down as well.

RE: BB-95 Flame Byxis 230WD Draft - Ultra - Jan. 14, 2011

I think it should be changed. Everyone knows it doesn't stack up to RS for defence. It doesn't even stack up to WB.

RE: BB-95 Flame Byxis 230WD Draft - Akatsuki Blader - Jan. 15, 2011

I think you should say that you should add every blader must own multiples because of wd and 230.

RE: BB-95 Flame Byxis 230WD Draft - Ultra - Jan. 15, 2011

There's no reason to have multiples of this. There are several other blades that have WD in and you don't need more than one 230.

RE: BB-95 Flame Byxis 230WD Draft - Xi - Jan. 15, 2011

you should capitalize a few things, such as flame in the M.W section and beyblades in... uhhh...:\ I think it's 230. also, you have an extra apostrophe in "combo's" (230). an apostrophe shows ownership or that the word is a contraction.

RE: BB-95 Flame Byxis 230WD Draft - Pyro - Jan. 16, 2011

Has it been proven that EWD is smaller than WD? If not then it should be taken out for now.
They do look like they are the same size though.

No, keep 1 for defence and the other for stamina. I think 230 is the safest stamina track to use in a tournament as its weighs 4.2 grams, which gives it little advantage over attack types. Plus, if your using MF-L, thats more weight.

RE: BB-95 Flame Byxis 230WD Draft - Ultra - Jan. 16, 2011

Why? There's no point having one for stamina and one for defence. You're never gonna use them at the same time. The only thing there is any point having multiples of is rubber bottoms cause they wear down. Also it's not the safest since they lost to low tracks like 90 and 85.

RE: BB-95 Flame Byxis 230WD Draft - machipz - Jan. 16, 2011

They advised us to get multiples of LLD remember? Plus, WDs are pretty useful, and a flame doesn't hurt. Byxis seems like it has good weight distribution.

But what ur saying is that people need multiples like 3-5 in which people do for rubber tips because they wear out. But saying each blader should own AT LEAST one is also saying that another wouldnt hurt.

Also pyro blah said WD and EWD are the same size.

What beyblade does PD come with? And you wrote "as wheel as Byxis" in the overall, first sentence. That's punny.

I searched beyblade general and nothing came up. But, sorry. I tried to make it on topic somewhat by pointing out a grammar error in the article.

However, Flame still has use in destabilizer combos because it is very effective in destabilizing other beys.
This track has proven to be a very good stamina track since its height gives a great amount of wobble room and is also a great defense track because low attackers have little affect since it has no contact with the metal wheel.

That's everything I can see. This is a great article.

Wide Defense is tied with EWD as the widest of the “Defense” series Bottoms (D, SD, WD, PD DS and EWD).

Im quite sure that DS is more of an S series bottom, rather than a D series bottom.

RE: BB-95 Flame Byxis 230WD Draft - Ultra - Jan. 16, 2011

I agree considering it's called Defence Sharp.

RE: BB-95 Flame Byxis 230WD Draft - UnLeAsHeD - Jan. 16, 2011

Updated OP, thank you all.

RE: BB-95 Flame Byxis 230WD Draft - Ultra - Jan. 16, 2011

I think some testing of the byxis clear wheel should be done cause in one stamina test it beat a bull clear wheel combo.

To be fair those tests were pretty sketchy/unreliable.

RE: BB-95 Flame Byxis 230WD Draft - Ultra - Jan. 17, 2011

How? Just cause they used B? That was the only thing.
