Chapter 5: The Great Reaper
Rei: Oh man, this is gigantic! Kinda hard to believe you can keep this hidden away.
Reaper: Will you keep yapping, or are you ready?
Rei: I'll be putting 100 on the line! I assume you'll do the same?
(The Reaper was confused. Is this guy and idiot? he thought. Houses in the outskirts cost 200 at the least to maintain food and water. The average money amount of people there is just barely 200....if he loses, he'll have no food and water for months.)
Reaper: Idiot....whatever. This is my Beyblade, Scythe Thanatos. You ready?
Rei: Always! (Rei looked at the Beyblade. It had 1 giant blade, but the rest of it was just bumps. If he attacked those, he should be able to win without taking too much damage.)
Everyone: 3,2,1, Let it Rip! (Artemis chased Thanatos around the stadium. Rei saw that they Beyblade was lopsided, it was always angled in the direction of the blade. Luckily that put the bumps wide open.)
Rei: Now Artemis, attack! (Artemis charged towards the bumps, but they knocked it back towards the wall. Rei was confused, but then has a realization: Those aren't bumps, they're shields! Heading straight towards them is a fools errand!)
Rei: Aw man, I'm dumb.....whatever, Artemis! You know what to do! (Rei resonated his feelings with Artemis, and it seemed to respond. It sped up before heading to clash with Thanatos' blade.)
Reaper: Hitting the shields may be stupid, but attacking the blades is even worse. Thanatos, Soul Diversion!
(Thanatos tilted on it's other side and suddenly sped up. It got behind Artemis and smashed it, sending it flying into the air.)
Rei: Artemis, no! (3 points and you win. A ring out is 2 points, a stamina finish is 1. He couldn't get knocked out now. But he couldn't do anything. All Rei could do was believe.)
(Artemis smashed into the sides of the wall, causing the spike of it's Drive to activate. This directed it away and made it lose balance, causing it to instantly stop spinning.)
Reaper: Do you even have the slightest amount of a strategy.
Rei: Uh...no...but, Artemis can't lose! You know that!
Reaper: I doubt that. It looks like it was thrown together in about an hour.
Rei: Well, I won't let it lose! Alright! (Rei gripped his Beyblade in his hands. He felt that he should be getting about at the Reaper, but all he could think about is how to beat Thanatos. He decided to run a simulation in his head.)
Rei: Go now, Artemis! (He would rush right towards Thanatos.)
Reaper: Thanatos has no weak points. Your done!
Rei: Sorry, but that 100 belongs to me! Artemis, attack!
(Thanatos would tilt, again, however for a moment it's Drive would be exposed. Like how he was attacked, Rei would hit Thanatos' Drive, a weak spot, and he would surely win.)
Rei: Ok, I have a game plan! This time, you're going down!
Reaper: I can't say I'm convinced, but whatever. Let's just start the next round.
Everyone: 3,2,1, Let it Rip!
Chapter 6 preview
Rei: Artemis, I trust you!
Reaper: You've made a severe mistake! Fangs, bite down!
Rei: He moves so chaotically, yet swiftly. Every possible situation for me to counter to shut down. I really can't win this...Thanatos doesn't have any weak points.
???: So you've given up?

Chapter 6: Swift Rider
(The sound of Beys touching the stadium echoed throughout the area. It was almost loud enough for Rei to be concerned about Apex hearing them.)
Rei: Artemis, go now! (Artemis crashed into the walls of the stadium, speeding up after every rebound.)
Rei: This is it, we'll put our plan into action! Attack with full force! (Artemis dashes towards Thanatos, but the attack was dodged, due to Thanatos speeding up from pivoting on it's tip. The Great Reaper was confused, how would speed help at all?)
Rei: Now, turn like your life depends on it! (Artemis angled itself so low that it's Metal ring hit the ground, causing sparks to fly. With it's insane speed and angle, it went straight for the Drive.)
Reaper: This is your pathetic plan? You've made a severe mistake! Fangs, bite down!
(At the worst possible moment, Rei came to a realization. To keep it stable Thanatos has 4 "fangs" surrounding the tip. The Reaper took initiative. It angled itself so it's fangs were high in the air, then swiftly crashed down, causing the fangs to smash into Artemis.)
(Artemis fly against the wall, and then high into the air. cracks on it started to show.)
Rei: Artemis, I trust you! (While it was airborne, all Rei could do is believe it would come back to the stadium. It did, however it stopped spinning the second it landed.)
(Rei was panting. He was completely overwhelmed. He tried to think of a solution, but nothing would work. He moves so chaotically, yet swiftly. Every possible situation for me to counter to shut down. I really can't win this...Thanatos doesn't have any weak points.)
Rei: Sorry Artemis....I don't think we can win this.
Reaper: There's no use in trying anymore.
???: So you've given up?
Rei: What? (Words echoed throughout Rei's head. The voice sounded familiar, yet foreign.)
???: The match has not ended yet. (He was right. Rei could still win, no, he could still try.)
Reaper: I know that you know, you'll lose next round. So why are you still trying?
Rei: I guess I'm just an idiot like that.
(The Reaper paused, and then picked up his Beyblade.)
Reaper: I forfeit.
Rei: Excuse me?
(The Reaper then walked over and slapped Rei, causing him to fall fall to them ground. He then took his hand and dragged him away. They eventually came to a backyard, where The Reaper took off his jacket, revealing a boys face.)
Shinei: My name is Shinei Kakusei. Live with me.
Rei: What? I have my own house you know!
Shinei: I know you aren't satisfied with that sad shack.
Rei: How'd you- whatever, details don't matter! Take me home!
Shinei: You don't have a home. I sold it online while you were babbling to yourself.
Rei: Wa- you trickster! Well now I don't have a choice!
(Rei gazed upon the building. This wasn't a house, this was a mansion. It seems like a nice place, and Shinei doesn't necessarily have bad intentions. What's the worse thing that could happen?)
Chapter 7 Preview:
Rei: So you have a Mom and sister overseas?
Shinei: Yeah, they left for work...or something like that.
Rei: Hold on, what are you doing to Artemis?
Shinei: Calm down. I'll upgrade your Bey from a homemade top to an actual Beyblade. Using professional materials, like the old Apex Beyblades.
Rei: How do you have access to that?
(Shinei simply walked off.)

Chapter 7: The Underground Tournament
A day has passed since the fateful battle against Shinei. Now Rei had ending up staying or at his house!
Rei: Good morning....this place is huge! Surely you don't own it right? Where are your parents?
(Shinei seemed to wince.) Shinei: I have Father, Mother, and Sister. My Dad's a work drone, he's always working and rarely comes home.
Rei: Where are your other family members?
Shinei: Out of country.
Rei: So you have a Mom and sister overseas?
Shinei: Yeah, they left for work...or something like that.
(Rei looked at Shinei. He seemed kind of sad. His Artemis slipped out of his hand, and was quickly swept up by Shinei.)
Rei: Hold on, what are you doing to Artemis?

Rei: This guy's weird...what if he's an Apex spy! I'll have to be sure to not tell him much info then.
(Rei tried his best to tail Shinei without being noticed. Shinei arrived at a work area where Artemis was scanned before being concealed by a box.)
Shinei: You can come out now, Rei.
Rei: Oh uh....fine, I guess I'm not good at sneaking around. So, um...cold you tell me about Big City? Or something like that? I'm new here.
Shinei: We're currently in the rich parts of Big City. By the way, it's real name is Apex Pathway. They just settled on a more generic, "friendlier" name in the end.
(Rei was happy for the info, but still confused as to why he knows so much stuff about Apex, and how he has their materials. The machine beeped, and the box lifted up, to reveal a Beyblade.)
Rei: Woah, Artemis! There's no wood, or metal...It's like a Beyblade they sold in stores! How'd you due that?
Shinei: You talk to much, man. (Shinei walked away, annoyed with how much Rei was blabbering. Rei still wanted answers.)
Rei: Oh c'mon, please tell me. We leave together right. We should know each other well.
(Shinei stopped for a moment.) Shinei: Fine. My Dad works at Apex, we happen to have a leftover Bey Maker from during the recall. I know, ironic since I'm a Blader. It's a pain to keep stuff secret form him, but whatever.
Rei: Oh I see! Sticky situation, but it's probably not hard to Blade since he's rarely home, right? Speaking of Blading, when do we get to battle?
Shinei: There's an Underground Tournament happening next week. There's one spot left, so you can enter. It actually happens to be underground, unlike other events it's not just a name for the backstreets. Due to this it's easily one of the safest places to blade.
Rei: Woah! Alright, We're in! Me an Artemis will wipe the floor with you in the finals, you hear that?
Shinei: That's not how it works. It's a team tournament. By one spot, I meant one team.
Rei: Oh, well we can just team up, right?
Shinei: Even if I wanted to work with you, We need 3 members.
Rei: So we can just find one? I don't know why you're bein so stingy, it can't be that hard.
Shinei: Whatever. If you can find a team member, I'll join your team.
Rei: You have a deal Shinei!
Chapter 8: Making a Team
(Rei was stumbling through the backstreets. He needed a team member, but everyone was turning him down. He eventually finds a girl.)
Rei: Oh hey, you, what's your name!
Kira: Oh hi, I'm Kira!
Rei: Wanna join my Blading team for the Underground Tournament! If you join the team will be completed!
Kira: Fine, but only if you beat me in a match!
Rei: Fine, but I won't lose you know!
(They go to a stadium and launch their beys.)
Kira: Nemesis, take the center!
(Kira's Beyblade Hollow Nemesis took the center, followed quickly by Artemis.)
Rei: Knock em out! (Artemis attacks, but gets deflected due to the free spinning ring.)
Rei: Oh no, Artemis! Time to build up speed! (Artemis hits the rim of the stadium, then goes for a barrage to hopefully push Nemesis out of the stadium.)
(Artemis dashes straight towards Nemesis, but is swiftly moves out of the way.)
Kira: No friction means maximum speed! Counter, now! Smooth Rush!
(Nemesis goes faster that Artemis, and smashes it into a wall. Rei seemed stuck, but realized that Artemis wasn't weak anymore. He needed to trust him.)
Rei: Artemis, you can do it! Unsheathe your sword and go beyond! Radiant Slash!
(Artemis's metal was no longer chunks, it was intricately carved out to be high and curved. This curve let Radiant go above the ring of Hollow, and Artemis smashed Nemesis out of the stadium.)
Rei: I- I did it! Ah right! So, you're officially apart of the team!
Kira: I lost, so fine. But I gotta go!
(Kira quickly left, with a fiery passion in her eyes.)
Rei: There she goes I guess...oh well. Can't wait to brag to Shinei!
[SPECIAL] Chapter 9: Lone Wolf
Shinei: So you did it huh? Good for you, I guess I'm in.
(Shinei looked at Rei. He seemed for confident with his Beyblade. He's certainly trustable, so him being a teammate shouldn't be terrible. The clock ticked down. Shinei sat at a table, it was already evening. His heart hurt, a looming sense of dread crept over him. He wanted to let it out, but couldn't.)
Rei: Oh, hey dude. You good? (Shinei looked up with a sour expression on his face. He didn't want to share thoughts with someone who's essentially a stranger, but he needed to vent.)
Shinei: No, I'm not good. My deadbeat Dad never comes home and the only people I love are gone. I'm alone......
Rei: Oh...well, i can understand. I've only ever had my Grandpa my entire life, but recently he passed away. But, with Artemis, I-
Shinei: This isn't a game, a stupid top won't help! If you really understand, that what did you do?!
(Shinei started yelling. he looked like he was about to cry.)
Shinei: What did you do when you were alone, when you lost everything.
(Rei relived bad memories, before coming to the conclusion. Rei let out a sad smile.)
Rei: I cried. That's all I could do. Cry away my sorrows. You looks like you're holding in a lot, so you should too. It helps. I'll leave you be.
(Rei left and Shinei looked at the table. He never moved on. He couldn't. But, he just couldn't hold on to the pain any longer. He wept, as Rei peacefully watched TV in his room.)

Chapter 10: Round 1: God vs. Trickster
Rei: The day's finally here! You ready guys?
Kira: Yeah!
Shinei: Sure.
Rei: Now, let's go to the tournament!....where's the tournament?
Shinei: Follow me.
(Shinei took the through a secret passage that leaded to a elevator. They finally arrived, just in time for the first match.)
Announcer: Now everyone's here! Our first match will be: The Kami vs. The Artemis Breakers!
(Shinei suddenly grabbed onto Rei's shirt.) Shinei: The what now?!
Kira: You can't make the name all about yourself!!
Rei: Well you guys were to lazy to submit a name, so I decided to make one!
Announcer: Our first match is: Rei vs. X!
Rei: Alright, I'm up guys! (Rei rushed to the stadium, but was stopped by Kira and Shinei , and dragged to the team's Dugout.
Shinei: You can't fight without knowing nothing about his bey.
Kira: His Beys apparently called A-Rex. Lots of sharp edges, speed, and brutal power. be sure to doge to minimize the amount of damage you take.
Rei: Dodge? C'mon that's boring, I'll just overpower em! (Rei went to the stage.)
Kira: That Idiot....
Referee: Now, ready.....set!
Everybody: 3,2,1, Let it Rip!
(A-Rex immediately went for Artemis who was circling around the stadium.)
X: Destroy.
(A-Rex launched Artemis high in the air.)
Rei: Woah, this guys no joke! Artemis, stabilize!
(Artemis landed but was rushed at again. A-Rex aimed for the Drive, but was stopped.)
Rei: You fell for it! Now, let's deal our first batch of damage! Revolution Pierce!
(The Spikes on Revolution knocked A-Rex back, but it just rushed back to smash into Artemis directly.)
Rei: This guys tough....what am I gonna do?
Kira: C'mon Rei! You should've followed the strategy!
Shinei: This kid is hopeless, why'd I join his team again?
Rei: Artemis, No! (Artemis was launched into the air.)
X: Finished. (A-Rex aimed straight for Artemis' landing spot.)
Rei: Heh heh heh......You fell right into my trap!
(Revolution's spikes deflect A-Rex away. Artemis then used Revolution to carve lines all across the stadium. A-Rex tried to attack, but was thrown off balance.)
Rei: Now, witness the power of our premium materials!
(Artemis' Apex materials easily glided over the lines and crashed into A-Rex.)
Rei: Finish It! Now what should I call this one......Alright! Radiant Zone!
(Artemis easily Bursted A-Rex.)
Referee: Workers, replace the stadium!
Announcer: Incredible! Using a cunning strategy, Rei defeats X, gaining one point for his team!
Rei: How do you like that guys!
Kira: I guess I should have had a little more faith, huh.
Rei: You got that right!
Announcer: Now next up is: Shinei vs. Y.
Kira: Oh man, not this guy!
Shinei: What's so bad about him?
Kira: In the days of early blading, he was at the top of the Apex Leaderboard! His Bey is Apex Grade materials, and every Bey he faces is thrown out of the stadium in an instant! He's alone at the top, an unbeatable force!
Shinei: Alone huh? (Shinei thought back to a previous moment.)
Shinei: Well, being alone gets you nowhere, and Thanatos isn't backing down from a challenge.

Hmm, progress, progress, nice. I do have a bit of a nitpick with the characters immediately rushing into battles without any sort of pre-battle dialogue and some scenes having a bit too little detail (like Shinei telling Rei about his family issues, I get what you’re trying to do but it felt a bit unnaturally quick), but it’s probably just me. The last couple chapters look pretty neat aside from that tho, keep up the good work.

Chapter 11: Round 2: Lonely vs. Not Alone
Announcer: Let's shift into gear folks! The Incredible match of is about to begin!
Y: My Pyro Ray will destroy your Thanatos.
Shinei: Your more talkative than X, eh?
Referee: Ready, Set!
Announcer: 3,2,1, Let it Rip!
(Thanatos crashed into the stadium. Counter was on it's metal side, causing Thanatos to go wild. Thanatos was also very slanted, it was touching the ground.)
Y: You trying to distract me with a bad launch? Pyro, Go now!
(Pyro Ray attacked Thanatos' Drive, causing it to knock against the wall. Still, the Bey remained slanted.)
Announcer: Is Thanatos intentionally slanting itself? What strategy does Shinei have in store for us today?!
Shinei: Thanatos, now!
(Thanatos' scythe collided with the stadium, causing it to launch in the air, then it went to crash into Pyro.)
Y: Hey, I've seen this one before!
(Pyro Ray's tip stretched out, leaving a spring exposed. Thanatos hit the spring. The recoil caused Pyro Ray to jump onto the Stadium wall.)
Announcer: Shinei reveals his attack! However in a shocking turn of events, Y gains the high ground!
Y: Now you can't touch me what will you do now.
Shinei: Simple tricks won't stop me. Thanatos, Scythe Rush!
(Thanatos clashed into the walls, attempting to use the vibration to knock Pyro off of the wall. It stayed still.)
Y: Oh.......Welp, playtimes over!
(Kira thought that Y was acting strange. He usually never toys with his opponents. What was going on, it's like he's taken up a whole new personality and battle style.)
Rei: You can do it Shinei, crush them!
(Pyro Ray crashed down into the center of the stadium. It's Drive unleashed metal projectiles that swiftly went in every direction.)
Kira: This is it! The instant kill move! He usually unleashes it right after launching, as soon as his bey touches the ground!
(Thanatos was launched out of the stadium. It was just passing the wall, about to be completely out of area to land.)
Shinei: So this is your way of being alone? Raagh! Your ideas are sickening! This is no laughing matter! Since you want it so desperately, I'll teach you the pain of being alone! Thanatos!
(Shinei let out a scream that Rei had never seen before. Thanatos responded by glowing, and then unleashing a blue wave of aura.)
Rei: Huh? What's happening to Thanatos?
(Thanatos smashed into the corner of the stadium, wall, splitting the entire thing in half. Both beys hit the ground at the same time. Y looked up with dead eyes. He then simply walked away.)
Announcer: Unleashing a power attack, Shinei is able to bring Y down with him!
Referee: Replace the stadium, now!
Shinei: Sorry Kira, you're gonna have to cover for me.
Kira: What's with you guys and using these reckless, stadium destroying strategies? Whatever. I'll show you guys how a battles really do-
Referee: What do you mean no more?
Announcer: What's that? Oh um, ok. lright guys, no more battles for today! The Team Tournament will continue tomorrow!
Shinei: Thank goodness. If you battled now you would've lost instantly.
Kira; What's that? You wanna go, dude!
Shinei: I'm not against it. (Shinei and Kira left.)
Rei: Wait guys, hold on! (Rei tried to run after the two, but fell. He then saw a picture that had flown from Shinei's pocket. It was of a girl.)
Rei: What's this?
(10 Minutes Later)
Shinei: Thanatos go!
Kira: Not so fast!
(Nemesis slid across the stadium, easily, dodging the attack.)
Shinei: Dang. Fall back!
(Thanatos went and speed around the rim of the stadium. He then thought to himself. This was his first time facing Kira, and his heart was pounding fast. He was fighting harder than Rei, but she's not much stronger than him. Why? What's so special about her? A faint image flashed briefly in Shinei's mind. He couldn't remember it. His body couldn't comprehend it after a second. He collapsed to his knees. He didn't know what he saw, but all he remember is that it was absolutely horrifying.)
Kira: Yo, whats up, dude.
Shinei: Don't approach me ever again.
(Kira was taken aback by these words. Shinei quickly rushed away. Probably not the best choice of words, but he never wanted to feel like this ever again.)

Y: Hey, I've seen this one before!
(Pyro Ray's tip stretched out, leaving a spring exposed. Thanatos hit the spring. The recoil caused Pyro Ray to jump onto the Stadium wall.)
Announcer: Shinei reveals his attack! However in a shocking turn of events, Y gains the high ground!
Y: Now you can't touch me what will you do now.
Shinei: Simple tricks won't stop me. Thanatos, Scythe Rush!
(Thanatos clashed into the walls, attempting to use the vibration to knock Pyro off of the wall. It stayed still.)
Y: Oh.......Welp, playtimes over!
(Kira thought that Y was acting strange. He usually never toys with his opponents. What was going on, it's like he's taken up a whole new personality and battle style.)
Rei: You can do it Shinei, crush them!
(Pyro Ray crashed down into the center of the stadium. It's Drive unleashed metal projectiles that swiftly went in every direction.)
Kira: This is it! The instant kill move! He usually unleashes it right after launching, as soon as his bey touches the ground!
(Thanatos was launched out of the stadium. It was just passing the wall, about to be completely out of area to land.)
Shinei: So this is your way of being alone? Raagh! Your ideas are sickening! This is no laughing matter! Since you want it so desperately, I'll teach you the pain of being alone! Thanatos!
(Shinei let out a scream that Rei had never seen before. Thanatos responded by glowing, and then unleashing a blue wave of aura.)
Rei: Huh? What's happening to Thanatos?
(Thanatos smashed into the corner of the stadium, wall, splitting the entire thing in half. Both beys hit the ground at the same time. Y looked up with dead eyes. He then simply walked away.)
Announcer: Unleashing a power attack, Shinei is able to bring Y down with him!
Referee: Replace the stadium, now!
Shinei: Sorry Kira, you're gonna have to cover for me.
Kira: What's with you guys and using these reckless, stadium destroying strategies? Whatever. I'll show you guys how a battles really do-
Referee: What do you mean no more?
Announcer: What's that? Oh um, ok. lright guys, no more battles for today! The Team Tournament will continue tomorrow!
Shinei: Thank goodness. If you battled now you would've lost instantly.
Kira; What's that? You wanna go, dude!
Shinei: I'm not against it. (Shinei and Kira left.)
Rei: Wait guys, hold on! (Rei tried to run after the two, but fell. He then saw a picture that had flown from Shinei's pocket. It was of a girl.)
Rei: What's this?
(10 Minutes Later)
Shinei: Thanatos go!
Kira: Not so fast!
(Nemesis slid across the stadium, easily, dodging the attack.)
Shinei: Dang. Fall back!
(Thanatos went and speed around the rim of the stadium. He then thought to himself. This was his first time facing Kira, and his heart was pounding fast. He was fighting harder than Rei, but she's not much stronger than him. Why? What's so special about her? A faint image flashed briefly in Shinei's mind. He couldn't remember it. His body couldn't comprehend it after a second. He collapsed to his knees. He didn't know what he saw, but all he remember is that it was absolutely horrifying.)
Kira: Yo, whats up, dude.
Shinei: Don't approach me ever again.
(Kira was taken aback by these words. Shinei quickly rushed away. Probably not the best choice of words, but he never wanted to feel like this ever again.)
Nice chapter! Sorta felt short, I feel like you could've made this a bit longer but other then that the only thing is you need to work on grammar a tiny bit more but other then that awesome chapter!
