RE: Winning Combinations at WBO Organized Play Events - Kei - Sep. 22, 2019 Shindog Have you guys run into any breakages at your HMS tournaments lately? Haha RE: Winning Combinations at WBO Organized Play Events - Shindog - Sep. 22, 2019 (Sep. 22, 2019 7:09 PM)Kei Wrote: Shindog Have you guys run into any breakages at your HMS tournaments lately? HahaLol, not so much the more valuable parts, the owners are generally careful obviously. However the stuff that I have been lending out to new players do break. I average losing 1 to 2 RC to damage per HMS event. Obviously I am not lending the most valuable parts, but even so I won’t be able to keep this up haha. We are lucky to have player with good reflexes and no serious breakage of players either. I do have a swollen pinky from trying to catch a flying HMS for someone. I really wanted to prevent that HMS bey from hitting concrete... Also we had a player narrowly dodging an HMS going towards his face. These beyblades can really fly. Pixel 3 had plenty of Perfect Phoenix running around, and we still get a little of it in Maryland. Not so much in Canada apparently! Seriously cool to see someone win without using Bearing Core at all.Deck format absolutely works for HMS! And it is great fun! Actually we may even consider doing deck format Round Robin in the future. From what I observed: In BB-10 stadiums a good attack set up can make your opponent think twice about spamming Bearing Core. This was proven by our 1st place winner. I think this in turn makes Bearing Core 2 really valuable in the deck as well. The added complexity of being able to choose spin direction with a 3 combo deck is just a breath of fresh air. I am very excited to host HMS again and hopefully try deck format for myself. |
