RE: General GFX Thread - Vintage - Aug. 02, 2011 (Aug. 02, 2011 5:34 PM)Sparta Wrote:(Aug. 02, 2011 2:20 PM)Kai-V Wrote: You might want to finally stop using those ugly scan lines before you begin to talk about light and depth ... Yeah, but scanlines aren't always diagonal. I also think scanlines are meant to be put on selectively, and not cover the entire signature. RE: General GFX Thread - MakaCHOP! - Aug. 02, 2011 Well I use scan lines for my userbars. I mean i can understand if your sig is REALLY bright but...eh RE: General GFX Thread - Cygnus - Aug. 02, 2011 Anyone like this? I love the white outline around Stoutland. By the way, I'm not very good at Using Gimp. RE: General GFX Thread - DynaZord - Aug. 02, 2011 I'm pretty sure the white outline is a bad cut... Also, why do you always have a color scheme like that? All I almost ever see is oil in water RE: General GFX Thread - Sparta - Aug. 02, 2011 (Aug. 02, 2011 6:35 PM)BurnBlader Wrote: Anyone like this? Stoutland! POKEMON FTW! The cutting could use some work (Look who's talking ), but the backgrounds kinda cool... RE: General GFX Thread - Flaming Aries - Aug. 02, 2011 another sig out of boredom not my best though [Image: anime.png] RE: General GFX Thread - Cygnus - Aug. 02, 2011 This is something I done using Othellogs's tutorial.(It really helped!) RE: General GFX Thread - NoodooSoup - Aug. 02, 2011 Hmm, on the topic of programs. Should I start fresh by getting GIMP, which has more features, or continue to use Paint.NET, which I have years of experience with? RE: General GFX Thread - ThaKingTai - Aug. 02, 2011 (Aug. 02, 2011 8:15 PM)Flaming Aries Wrote: another sig out of boredom not my best though I like this one, although you shouldn't have used the brushes over the render. Edit: Use GIMP and practice, but use Paint.Net when in contest. BurnBlader, it needs more flow, and MewTwo's face shouldn't be coved that much, nor should it all look like it was done in one layer. RE: General GFX Thread - Flaming Aries - Aug. 02, 2011 gimp u will love it is easy to use and you can get help from all of us get gimp it is incredibly easy to use. It's very easy to use after a couple of days. It can be confusing at first though. OK It is not my best and like I said before I am incredibly tired and hungry from fasting RE: General GFX Thread - BeybladeStation - Aug. 02, 2011 (Aug. 02, 2011 8:15 PM)Flaming Aries Wrote: another sig out of boredom not my best thoughThe text entirely ruined the signature. RE: General GFX Thread - Cygnus - Aug. 02, 2011 Does anyone like this? It might be my new Sig. RE: General GFX Thread - BeybladeStation - Aug. 02, 2011 That's really not a GFX piece, more rather just two pictures on a gradient. Here's what you need to learn: ~Background Structure, learn to make cool backgrounds with similar bonds as focals. - Create blending. Seriously, it would take me maybe: [2.5 seconds to make that with renders on .PNG TRNS] RE: General GFX Thread - TanithElite - Aug. 02, 2011 I never actually posted here but here is a sig I made a few days ago [Image: dm-CY3U.png] what do you think?? RE: General GFX Thread - MakaCHOP! - Aug. 02, 2011 not bad smallish though...it looks nicely cut RE: General GFX Thread - TanithElite - Aug. 02, 2011 What is the size its supposed to be?????? RE: General GFX Thread - MakaCHOP! - Aug. 02, 2011 no lil big but no RE: General GFX Thread - TanithElite - Aug. 02, 2011 I will use 500x170 and see what happens.
