RE: Photo Gallery - Ga' - Mar. 07, 2012 Oh man, that would match perfectly with my black Launcher and Ripcord, I need one of those sets haha. Looking good Hazel! I need to pick up an extra of each of the 'basic 3' HMS. RE: Photo Gallery - th!nk - Mar. 07, 2012 (Mar. 07, 2012 12:28 AM)Hazel Wrote: New stuff got here today, so here it is! Well, you've sold me on it, I just grabbed a set in case they disappear. That grip looks excellent (I have slightly larger-than-average hands, good for guitar, less good for beyblade launchers), kinda wishing I'd bought the set instead of separate gaia dragoon/draciel in the first place, but extra launchers, 15g Circle Wide, and Circle Heavy isn't such a bad thing (though I should have loads of the latter, haha). Man, that grip looks like something Volvo would have done 10 years ago, if they were to manufacture beyblade accessories. RE: Photo Gallery - roux - Mar. 07, 2012 got these today Spoiler (Click to View) ![]() RE: Photo Gallery - Kai-V - Mar. 07, 2012 They are just plated, filled Light Wheels ? RE: Photo Gallery - roux - Mar. 07, 2012 (Mar. 07, 2012 6:09 PM)Kai-V Wrote: They are just plated, filled Light Wheels ? nope they are hybrid wheels wif weight heavier than the normal ones approximately >50~65g (can't rmb the weight of 1st mold) it's a man from hong kong sending the original plastic wheels to modeling factory and producing molds of those wheels. then, molds were filled with materials similar to normal hybrid wheels like thermal and earth, and the copies were plated like the photos I showed the bottom of wheels were also filled, so no gaps r appeared like normal wheels hence the weight definitely rises it's the second ver of self produced hybrid wheels and the first one has been used by some bladers in hong kong coz it can help rubbing RF wif such heavy wheels. I've heard from the seller that there r only 10sets of 2nd mold wheels for sale wtever~ RE: Photo Gallery - Serotonin - Mar. 07, 2012 God, that grip looks horrible man. Generally, the original HMS aesthetics were really amazing in my opinion. RE: Photo Gallery - 3-Dog - Mar. 07, 2012 I dunno, I think it looks pretty classy. RE: Photo Gallery - th!nk - Mar. 07, 2012 It looks very, uh, industrial, I guess? Something that would have a really generic name that you'd use for work, not play. Reminds me of old russian guitars amongst other things. That said, I honestly don't care so much how it looks if it's comfortable and sturdy. It's almost like Sonokong caught on that most people buying their older toys aren't kids and threw it together at the last minute, especially with the ridiculous poorly implemented hand-switch. RE: Photo Gallery - Hazel - Mar. 08, 2012 A poorly-implemented one is better than "BE RIGHT HANDED OR DON'T BEYBLADE", imo. I think the standard HMS grip looks goofy, tbh, and the weird trigger thing is just... strange... RE: Photo Gallery - th!nk - Mar. 08, 2012 Oh, I agree completely. It could have been more elegantly done but I guess it is far more sturdy as a result of its design, and it's not like it's something you're going to change regularly. RE: Photo Gallery - Hazel - Mar. 08, 2012 I should also mention - as I feel it prudent - that even as a right-handed individual(albeit one with a lot of experience being ambidextrous due to injuries and drumming), lefty launching(which is the configuration this grip comes in, oddly enough) is very comfortable and easy to control. RE: Photo Gallery - th!nk - Mar. 08, 2012 Must admit, I was curious why you had disassembled it so quickly. No problem, hard to walk around my mess of a room without impaling my foot on a screwdriver anyway, and I keep a nicely sized one with my beyblades. I might play around with lefty launching with it for kicks, haha. RE: Photo Gallery - Ultra - Mar. 08, 2012 I think the wierd sonokong version is uglier too. I wonder if they used the takara one in the days when HMS came out. If they did then I really have to wonder why they would have gone to the trouble of creating that new one. RE: Photo Gallery - MAB - Mar. 08, 2012 HMS grips are weird as I see it. I never have a HMS or what but yeah, might just get the grip if I can find one. RE: Photo Gallery - roux - Mar. 08, 2012 got a bearing stinger today, it's hasbro ver but i changed the bit beast and bottom parts, coz the bearing hasbro ver doesnt spin as fluent as takara's Spoiler (Click to View) RE: Photo Gallery - th!nk - Mar. 08, 2012 Hm? I thought the Hasbro one was prized by Japanese players because its tip was harder, producing better stamina? Wolborg 1 was the one hasbro messed up. RE: Photo Gallery - roux - Mar. 08, 2012 (Mar. 08, 2012 5:11 PM)th!nk Wrote: Hm? I thought the Hasbro one was prized by Japanese players because its tip was harder, producing better stamina? Wolborg 1 was the one hasbro messed up. actually it's dio's idea to change the bearing it doesnt spin fluently though it may have a harder tip as u mentioned.... RE: Photo Gallery - th!nk - Mar. 08, 2012 Oh, yes, at least one of the bearings has to be changed, I thought you meant the tip. RE: Photo Gallery - MAB - Mar. 08, 2012 actually I saw bearing stinger often and it's not so rare now. I can c no points from ur words that not sharing my photos here though. is it even not acceptable that ppl posting common beys like galaxy Pegasus? this bey means a lot for me coz I used to hv a tip only, and i was looking for a gd one for months.
