RE: Winning Combinations at WBO Organized Play Events - Shindog - Sep. 02, 2018 (Sep. 02, 2018 5:56 PM)Kei Wrote: I can't speak for 1234beyblade or SUGOI-KONICHEWA, but for me it was purely based on part balance. Despite having many 0's and two aH's (and one 10), I had been having trouble finding a combination of the two that was balanced to a satisfactory level. The new 0 Disk I got with Shadow Amaterios happened to balance quite well with my aH, so that's why I switched back to 0 for aH. Maybe there's some differences that could be observed because of other factors between 10 vs 0, but in my testing I've found them to be relatively even stamina-wise. And sometimes the importance of part balance trumps everything else, which is what happened here. You don't want an aH that moves around much at all (or even worse, jumps/shakes) in the stadium when using Et or R as it becomes easier for you to get KOed and bursted. I see. I also haven’t really seen a significant difference in 0 and 10 on aH.Et. I have compared many 0 disk to at least seven 10s. I got suckered in to buying some “Ultra weight four Star 10 disk” at yahoo auction Japan hahaha... I just can’t tell the difference. I just started thinking about disks that could act as additional breaks to defend against KO when a driver is low enough, and was wondering if 0 is useful in that sense. Seeing the use of Lift (down skirt mode-this a direct translation, I don’t know the actual term) in Japan and Taiwan on Sr.0L.Br got me thinking. But their deck format is very different and their mode switch rule makes Sr.0L.BL quite the beast in theory. KO protection by aH.0L(down skirt).ET!!!? Probably not. RE: Winning Combinations at WBO Organized Play Events - RedPanda2 - Sep. 03, 2018 also a painted 0 is potentially the heaviest disc in the game it’s only 0.4g more than unpainted, but in mirror matches everything counts (assuming good balance) RE: Winning Combinations at WBO Organized Play Events - EmphaticYogi - Sep. 10, 2018 Spin Retribution Winning Combinations Link to thread:Spin Retribution 1st Position : @[Blader ZX] Combos :

Because of how the gimmick works?1) not the correct place to ask 2)pure Defense never really existed in burst. Pure defense types usually have poor stamina in burst defense/stamina hybrids dominate. If u use gV as a defense type it would have horrible stamina and high knockout risks because of its shape. Lastly gV is too light now. I really hope attack could shine bc I love flash and Wyvang i understand the sentiment but it’s worth noting these are winning combos only attack set ups are most certainly still a part of any well assembled deck also fwiw, i disagree that the competitive game is stale at all. i think it is pretty cerebral right now, tbh. at least for me anyways. RE: Winning Combinations at WBO Organized Play Events - Shindog - Sep. 19, 2018 I know it’s just rubber on Br. But Sr and dF did make appearances here. So if gF isn’t just a total flop it should go right into th le mix. Yep, unfortunately I didn't get to see that combo in action but it was fun being able to use attack a bit more with the new ruling. At the same time, I found that the players who weren't as competitive were the ones for whom the new ruling came into play the most - either because they weren't aware of proper launching strategies, or were using God series combos that are inherently more prone to bursting.
