RE: B-48 Starter Xeno Xcalibur .M.I - Bey Brad - Jun. 29, 2016 Hahaha, that sucks, although now I understand how they got that clear blue effect on the X. You can't really give gold plastic that nice metallic effect without paint (see: Amaterios). I expected it would be painted. Did not expect it would be the same clear blue plastic. RE: B-48 Starter Xeno Xcalibur .M.I - Raiyanblader - Jun. 30, 2016 ![]() RE: B-48 Starter Xeno Xcalibur .M.I - Bey Brad - Jun. 30, 2016 This isn't a durability issue. The part is fine. The paint is just being scratched off. RE: B-48 Starter Xeno Xcalibur .M.I - Leo Burst - Jul. 01, 2016 RE: B-48 Starter Xeno Xcalibur .M.I - Izhkoort - Jul. 01, 2016 Cool Leo! I think I will take a real advantage of this release! RE: B-48 Starter Xeno Xcalibur .M.I - Leo Burst - Jul. 01, 2016 Sword Launcher fun fact! The sword launcher makes the prongs rotate 6.5 times, long winder rotates 6 times, regular winder rotates 5 times RE: B-48 Starter Xeno Xcalibur .M.I - Kai-V - Jul. 01, 2016 Would you have a spare one to open? I just purchased mine but on top of the postal strike here, there was not enough left in stock to order two to be able to see the insides hah. I really want to see if my guess that the gear inside was elongated to fit the whole length of the sword handle is true. RE: B-48 Starter Xeno Xcalibur .M.I - Kai-V - Jul. 02, 2016 No need to open your Sword Launcher, someone on Twitter already did hah: ![]() I do not remember exactly what the interior mechanisms of regular launchers were like, but these ones do not appear extraordinary in any fashion, no? And yet the Sword Winder is shorter than a Long Winder, so how could it give more revolutions... RE: B-48 Starter Xeno Xcalibur .M.I - OkinawamTS - Jul. 02, 2016 like I have already specified the long winder can not be used with the sword launcher can not go inside correctly (Jul. 01, 2016 11:28 PM)Dracomageat Wrote:(Jul. 01, 2016 6:30 PM)Leo Burst Wrote: Sword Launcher fun fact! And yet the Sword Winder is shorter than a Long Winder, so how could it give more revolutions... Unlike in regular Launchers, where just one gear attached directly to the launcher prongs' shaft meshes with the winder, the Sword Launcher looks like it has a gear train system consisting of three gears that appear to become progressively smaller moving away from the largest gear that meshes with the Sword Winder, ending at the smallest gear that surrounds the launcher prongs' shaft. If this is actually the case, then this design should increase the mechanical advantage of the whole launcher system, resulting in stronger launches, despite a seemingly shorter winder lengthwise. Teeth-to-gear ratio is the biggest factor here. (yea, more science ![]() https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gear_train#Mechanical_advantage RE: B-48 Starter Xeno Xcalibur .M.I - Kai-V - Jul. 02, 2016 By "smallest gear", are you referring to the core of the one above the prongs, that is both black and white for the BeyLogger to read? Because the smallest gear I can see is the one with the propellers, fully black, and it is not really above the prongs. I remember now that a Metal Fight Beyblade BeyLauncher has two very large gears that are also interconnected. It also says in the article you linked to that a third, idler gear in the middle gives no advantage at all and only serves the purpose of making the third gear turn in the same direction as the first hah. RE: B-48 Starter Xeno Xcalibur .M.I - BeyGa - Jul. 03, 2016 Just saw these on twitter. https://twitter.com/Jestar_Hookman/status/749454580618977282 ![]() ![]() ![]() RE: B-48 Starter Xeno Xcalibur .M.I - Jinbee - Jul. 03, 2016 Not even a week yet... The sword looked fairly sturdy but I guess not. Thanks BeyGARRR! RE: B-48 Starter Xeno Xcalibur .M.I - LOL-y Rancher - Jul. 03, 2016 Wow... so much for an "advanced" X2. We already get a broken one... that didn't take long (not even the first Xcalibur broke this soon). Maybe we'll get a reinforced X2? ![]() RE: B-48 Starter Xeno Xcalibur .M.I - OkinawamTS - Jul. 03, 2016 no the picture that you posted earlier wasnt a breakage but just the gold paint got damaged after that the layer was perfectly fine (Jul. 03, 2016 5:28 AM)Kevo Wrote:(Jun. 29, 2016 5:26 PM)Kevo Wrote: Did anyone else notice this?Ah ha! RE: B-48 Starter Xeno Xcalibur .M.I - Kevo - Jul. 03, 2016 Yeah, looking back at the other recent pictures you're absolutely right. Still, on top of paint chipping, we now have to worry about potential breakages. :\ RE: B-48 Starter Xeno Xcalibur .M.I - Kai-V - Jul. 03, 2016 Holy hell, unknowingly Kevo was right: that part does break, and almost spectacularly so. ![]() From: https://twitter.com/Jestar_Hookman/status/749454580618977282 RE: B-48 Starter Xeno Xcalibur .M.I - MissingNo. - Jul. 03, 2016 Wow, and it came out only a few days ago... RE: B-48 Starter Xeno Xcalibur .M.I - TL14 - Jul. 03, 2016 Wow. I didn“t expect to see the first breakage this soon. I hope that this was just an individual case. ![]() RE: B-48 Starter Xeno Xcalibur .M.I - NEET no Kami - Jul. 03, 2016 i hope this is just a freak accident, and it doesn't become a very common like V2 breaking. RE: B-48 Starter Xeno Xcalibur .M.I - Flame~Capricorn - Jul. 03, 2016 TT should have some fun reinforcing THIS without making it unbalanced or too heavy! RE: B-48 Starter Xeno Xcalibur .M.I - Jinbee - Jul. 03, 2016 But @[Kai-V], BeyGa posted it already... It's on the previous page. RE: B-48 Starter Xeno Xcalibur .M.I - cadney - Jul. 03, 2016 Oh no... I'm sorry to see such a serious break of this caliber so soon... I hope this doesn't end up being a trend with the layer, but I'm a little skeptical since it's so new. |
