Btw, I know that you guys really love sharing GFX with your friends on the WBO, but this section of the forum turns out to be the most popular one. I'm sure that GuildInn has helped you guys out, but this community is about beyblade. Just try to spend more time in the customisation, or general sections of this forum. And you really are going to get better C&C at GuildInn any ways. I know that some of the people(including me long ago) didn't do anything but stay in the Your Creations forum. We as a group of people need to transfer that energy to GuildInn, which is a forum just for GFX. Take this into consideration guys.

Welcome back Othellog Nice work but a lots changed around here as you see like some of us have gotten better *Cough* *Cough* Me and we have a new criteria things that we used to think were epic are now getting bashed as mono toned or need more improvement but I see you still got it nice flow in all of your recent work

I use GIMP 2.6 for edting
I usually don't use stock-render, I use anime pics, render pics from different scenes or I sometimes recolor manga pics.
The same with effects, I try to use random things to create effects

But there's a little bit to do with it anyway
The allocation (?) is good, you can keep it like this. The font is cool, but it should be brighter, maybe you can add a boarder.
In the background you should add some effects besides the light-effects, maybe you can find some fitting ones. And there are too much of the light effects
The red light at the top doesn't fit to the others, but I think you should add another color to the signature, green, a lighter blue, something like.
You should also work with the render, add a boarder, duplicate and transform it.

The pattern on the right side of the his mask and on the right side of his vest...
You can use these as base for some lines/etc. in the background and some effect.
Maybe you could use these pattern and add these as flow white to blue in the BG.

Also, you could download Fractal Pack 3 by GreenTunic on DeviantArt. It's probably the best fractal pack, ever IMO.
