I never heard of combo like this

Generally decent stamina; able to consistently outspin and even knockout stamina combos at the same height. Misinterpreted what you meant at first, LOL.

Well, any combinations to suggest? They don't have to be top tier, because I already have some metal fight combinations for limited and standard(e.g. burn bull GB 145 WD, duo bull BGrin ), so this is more for fun. I want to make the best stamina/balance limited format beyblade with the zero g beyblades I have.

@[Legend _pegasus] i would say it will be a very good combo but i never use sythe for stamina over phantom due to it's stamina is much less + it's very light weight. Try using Phantom 230SD it would be a good combo and Sythe 85EDS/WD

btw combo you used against me was actually better then it lol :p

Is the downforce effect of W145 actually noticeable? Does it actually have advantages over other tracks of that height?

Wing tracks don't have a significant effect on down force (there's just not that much surface area and it's spinning nowhere near fast enough to do much), but W145 is still the best 145-height Stamina track out there. It's most likely due to the weight of the wings - that extra disk of plastic helps improve the flywheel effect of the Beyblade, keeping it spinning for longer.

RE: "Build me a combo!" #2 - MissingNo. - Jul. 07, 2016

From my personnal experience, W145's wings have definitely an effect on the beyblade's stability, and it have nothing do to with it their weight, which is completely negligible.

Wouldn't GB145 be a better choice for increasing the flywheel effect? And, it's heavier than W145 right, so wouldn't that make it better? Please correct me if I'm wrong

My statement that W145 is the best 145-height Stamina track wasn't really the best way to put it, sorry Tongue_out

Historically, AD145 was the go-to Track for mid-height Stamina; when W145 was released and subsequently tested, it was found to outclass AD145 slightly, and so W145 became the top-tier track.

There are three major factors to consider with Stamina - how well it spins by itself, how well it reacts to contact with the opponent, and how well it handles the last moments of a battle, where it is almost completely slowed down. I think that W145 is pretty thoroughly outclassed by another track, TR145, in each category. (We'll also compare GB145 to explain why it's not normally used for Stamina)

Spin times are measured across an average of 5 tests using Burn Cygnus ____ WD. Masses are from Beywiki.

W145:
+ Great solo spin time (3:30)
+ Not very wide, so opponents can't hit it
* Provides no support against floor scrapes
- Not particularly heavy (2.2g)

TR145:
+ Better solo spin time (3:44)
+ Moderately heavy (Not available on Beywiki, I weighed mine a while ago but can't find my scale atm. Probably in the vicinity of 3.6g)
+ Circular shape and rollers reduce loss of spin when touching the floor
+ Circular shape and rollers reduce loss of spin when contacting opponents

GB145:
+ Very heavy (4.5 g)
+ Good solo spin time (3:21)
- Ball gimmick doesn't work properly; it amplifies wobbling if the Beyblade is spinning slowly
- Oval shape causes lots of recoil and loss of Stamina when scraping or hit

GB145 spins well, but the balls tend to shift at the last moments, which is also when the Beyblade is wobbling the most. That shift hurts its balance further, and GB145's oblong shape doesn't roll very well, so the Beyblade dies pretty quickly. Those few extra seconds are crucial for a Stamina type, so GB145's balance issues make it unsuitable for Stamina (though it's excellent for Attack).

TR145 outweighs W145, spins longer on its own, and does better in its last moments than W145, making it at the very least an excellent pick against opposite-spin opponents. I like to use it whenever possible, just for the bonus weight and spin time.

Is Dark Deathscyther Gravity Orbit a good defense combo? Should I put Wild Wyvern or Kerbeus instead? Should I switch Orbit with Defence?

D2GO is for destabilizing Revolve-based combos. If you are going for Defense, go for Wyvern (or Neptune) _____ Revolve. Kerbeus is outclassed, and W2 bursts too easily. Defense isn't bad, either, but Revolve does have more LAD.

DeathScyther is stamina, and would (most likely) get bursted easier than the other Defensive Layers I listed. But it does have better stamina (if that is what you are going for).

Anyone who can suggest me a combo from salamander warrior wheel ?? I mean a synchrom

RE: "Build me a combo!" #2 - Angry Face - Jul. 11, 2016

It's not the best Chrome Wheel by any means, but MSF/-H Leviathan Salamander E230RB would be a fairly good Defense type in the standard MFB format. The Genbu and Kraken Chrome Wheels would both be much better substitutes for Salamander, though.

RE: "Build me a combo!" #2 - Angry Face - Jul. 12, 2016

Combos for Standard MFB:
- Diablo Kerbecs BD145RF (Attack-Defense hybrid)

Combos for Limited:
- Earth Cancer/Aquario 105/AD145WD (Stamina)
- Earth Aquario/Bull/Kerbecs 105RS (Defense)

I'd recommend you try to get a 230 Track and some Metal Faces next for Limited. With those, you could make MF Earth/Flame Cancer/Aquario 230CS, a Stamina-Defense hybrid, or Earth Cancer/Aquario 230D, another Stamina type.

For Standard, you'd need to make at least several more purchases, but Flash Sagittario would be decent to start with. You'd get Flash, which you could then use in the Attack type combo MF Flash [Attack Mode] Pisces AD145RF, and also the 230 Track at the same time.

RE: "Build me a combo!" #2 - Beybladerocx2 - Jul. 14, 2016

Question: What's the best way to get paint off of a Beyblade (other than battling with them a lot)? I would like to get as much (if not all) of the paint thats on my Hasbro Nemesis-X, Orochi, and Bahamoote Wheels. Would it also be able to get Sharpie Marker off of them? And, if I wanted to paint them myself, what should I use that would stick on it (once dry) for a long time with wear-and-tear, and wouldn't alter the weight so I could still use them in official tournaments?

I know this isn't the specific topic for this, but I don't know where to post this to.

This isn't quite the best place to ask. The best place is this thread here: Ask a question get an answer.

Though, to answer your question, I would say the safest routes would be either nail polish or acetone (yet they're still pretty chemically and you should have proper ventilation and possibly gloves). You can watch a video here on how to do it. They're slower to take them off but it's a lot safer than your other option which is paint thinner. Either option will remove paint and sharpie.

You shouldn't paint them if you are planning to battle them. There is no lasting paint material that can withstand such abrasive battles. And it would make them illegal for tournament use if apply so much paint that it makes it heavier or modifies it's performance. It's safer to just not paint them. The removal of paint is not illegal so as long as it doesn't alter the performance of the piece.

Edited for clarity.

Thanks a lot. The nail polish remover thing sounds familiar. And I'm guessing the only way to "color customize" a Beyblade and still have it be legal for tournaments is Sharpie. Once again, thanks. Smile

RE: "Build me a combo!" #2 - Cake - Jul. 14, 2016

Paintedor dyed parts are legal in MFB, I believe, though recoloring Burst parts is not legal. Make sure that your coat of paint isn't so thick that it starts adding significant mass or changing the performance, because that makes it illegal - cosmetic changes only, no performance alterations.
