In the case of Yielding, I think it's likely they just didn't want to spend money on the POM for it, which would be consistant with their previous descisions. (They never gave Zeusian G it's CEW Light Sharp, and never made PD).
This could also mean their version of Bearing could lack the POM tip and just use the normal plastic they use for Drivers for the free-spinning tip.

Ha! I'll never forget the confusion and disappointment I felt when I opened Hasbro's Zeus. They made many cool choices (e.g., using Venus' and Poseidon's accurate colours and giving them engine gear) and then many head scratching choices to make up for it:
- Making Apollon neon orange
- Removing the unique qualities of Metal Driger, Gigars and Zeus for standard engine gear
- Releasing Rapid Eagle G instead of far more popular Beyblades from more notable characters such as Galeon 2 & Thunder Pegasus.
- Whatever they did to Ariel 1 and Ariel 2

If it does it seems strange that the set would have two reboot tips.

My boys came 1st and 4th in a tournament in Melbourne Australia today.
1st place using a stock Hasbro W3 - beat all wV, zA and eF along the way, plus many others
4th started with a stock Sr (and lost) then traded the tip for Destroy - never beaten again.
Fun Sunday afternoon for us.

It had a box and everything, everything they've shown is confirmed. Learned this from the Hascon event that first revealed the SwitchStrike Beyblades. They didn't changed the boxes they have revealed, and everything they are selling are obviously made in advanced. I also don't give a crud about Twin Noctemis not having Ul, because that is more fitting on Genesis Valtryek. I'm more miffed about no 3H and the Strike Chip being only cosmetic.

It seems that this set up would seem pretty nice. But since this is just a Battle Tower Set that incorporates up to four players, why not place four beyblades in the set instead of two?
Also, it would only be a better idea to add the SwitchStrike Ripcord launchers IF they put in a reverse spinning beyblade like Nightmare Luinor L3, otherwise, give the miniature launchers either a bigger size or more grip.
Also, it would be perfect to turn the Reboot performance tip that comes with the Strike Valtryek V3 in the Set into an Ultimate Reboot, so people can have a taste of the upgrade. Also, it’s a better idea to have the Strike Chip actually have metal and the locking mechanism. Since the locking mechanism looks like it has that tiny little piece of spring at the top only get locked in the middle instead of all the way, I guess that’s the reason the Strike Chip is fully cosmetic, but that does not explain the metal-less chip.

Both Beyblades are very disappointing, however, I think the gimmick of the stadium is well worth the buy. They likely wanted to save on costs with some of their more interesting choices (e.g., like not using a new frame, disc, no UI, etc.). I still don't understand the colour choices of Valtryek, but whatever, it's Hasbro.

I don't know about that. The stadium looks too congested to have a legitimate battle. I feel like if you launch too hard, you could fall off the higher level and lose stamina, but if you launch too soft, you won't have enough power to actually have a decent battle. There's only 1 reason why I'm buying the Battle Tower: to test Noctemis N3 and Strike Valtryek V3 (only to see if it differs in performance from Genesis Valtryek V3 of course).

The SwitchStrike ability of Strike Genesis Valtryek is the Spring Blade Attack. The Strike Chip does not lock it at all.

@[ThePheonix], although Strike Valtryek V3 still has the Spring Bladed Attack gimmick, its name will always be "Strike Valtryek V3". It might only be a cosmetic Strike God Chip, but the Layer is still different from the regular Genesis Valtryek V3, you know? We don't know how much it differs from GV3 yet, but through some tests, we'll be able to find out in the future.
