SO... my local Target finally got in some non switch strike Evolution beys. The wave with L2 A2 E1 N2. I was surprised and pleased to see it. Of course all the L2s were scooped, as well as all the E1s. I think people are finally realizing E1WN is an absolute beast. Bummer though cause I wanted another one. They left just one N2, and apparently no one wants A2 because there was 3 of them. If they know how epic E1 is then surely they know how A2 is absolute garbage (nonexistent slopes cough). Maybe we'll get the wave with Hyrus and Diomedes in 2039 at this rate.

only reason i want a2 is because hasbro orbit tbh but yea l2 is gone in seconds sadly Unhappy

Yeah, I already had an A2 I got off Amazon 17 years ago. I picked up another specifically for yell and orbit. It looked like there was a fight over the L2 because there was beys strewn all over. I started repegging them there was so many.

I just found m2 and p2 at my target and i picked up p2 cuz i got the takara tomy m2 from a random booster

I would have got M2. Hasbro's M2 is epic. P2 isn't worth it besides Polish. Hasbro's M2 has jumped into my top 5 favorites actually.

Seriously. It looks like they use the same "late teen to young adult" models they do for Nerf.

On a fun note, I was able to draw a group at Kigacon this past weekend. Mostly people around my age, some who started in Plastic and some who started in Metal. We played Burst for about a half hour on Saturday. Good times.

I am concerned about Xcalius X3, I just got mine yesterday and I noticed it very rarely bursts compared to almost all of my other beys, I was confused so I tried to see what was causing this, then right before my Xcalius X3 was halfway to bursting, the disk moved back to the start, so I was wondering, is it going to be OP against Hasbro’s Spryzen S4 and Luinor L3?

I got X3 just yesterday, and while mine doesnt move on its own, my Satomb used to (it was really fun to mess with and watch). I dont think it makes the beys OP, and im not even sure that effect works during battle, probably just because new slopes might be more slippery than older ones. I still have faith that Hasbro's L3 is going to be something monstrous and broken, though, even against X3.
If they keep the trend of not nerfing slopes well enough like with G3, then L3 WILL be a literal nightmare.

simply because there is no reasonable way (aside from having a bottomless wallet) to obtain it, and the outer disk.

They trademarked Baderov and Amaterios for the Micros line. Hasbro will never make either version of Orichalcum outside of that.

They also cancelled the trademark for Amaterios and Baderov. I question whether or not we will even get an Orichalcum Micro considering how quickly they left the other two trademarks

Well the Amaterios and Baderov Micros were produced and sold, plus they teased wave 4 at the NYTF. However finding Micros in store is another story. Like what happened to the disappearance of wave 2.

So according to this Brazillian toy store, Hasbro classic Burst Beys will come in double packs? We won't have Trans on Dranzer, but HEY! It's better than not releasing anything, imo! Grin

I noticed something here. For some reason, the attacking spikes of Dragoon Storm's layers are even smaller than the TT layer. The clear plastic packaging is warping the light a fair bit at some spots, but putting my TT Dragoon S layer up to my screen makes it easy to tell the difference, especially looking at the size and shape of the red markings/stickers. The white rubber on a white Xtreme just feels bland.

Not getting Trans on Dranzer S kind of feels wrong too. I did go through the effort to look up the part code for TBO3 in the corner and learned that it's Unite, just with the same blue on blue color that the Xtreme has. Not sure that Unite really fits Dranzer very well though.

Also, would the smaller spikes on Dragoon make it less prone to bursting?

Mixed feelings. When I saw ilinnuc's  YouTube post about the double pack, I was extremely excited.

That's what I appreciate the most. That Hasbro finally decided to release the old gen remakes, to travel back ~15 years to my childhood, go to my local store and do what I've never done as a child: Buying a Dragoon and a Dranzer beyblade.

And here's the downside. I like the Burst remakes as what they are. Re-releases of the old gen beyblades. And yes, I was also not satisfied with everything Takara Tomy did. I don't like Press on my Draciel S, like why? It does not resemble the original Metal Ball Base in any way. Why not wait a bit and release it with Weight? Driger S with Fusion... meh, but it is still kinda okay.

BUT they've found two excellent drivers for Dragoon S and Dranzer S, the Extreme with that blue rubber just like the original, and Trans as a manual change tip just like the old Spiral Change Base. And they were already a perfect fit.
And what does Hasbro do? They say: Nah, no classic blue tip. Nah, no Trans, we'll use Unite instead which does not fit in the slightest.

And that is exactly what I'm so tired of with Hasbro. If they excite me (which wasn't the case very often in the past years), there's always a twist, a bad one. And if it's only by altering a few minor things that I really liked about the original Takara releases of the original beys, the gen I love so much.
Feels worse than Hasbro's whole Single/Dual Layer lineup for me.

And it is super irrelevant, but the box says "Dragoon Storm" and "Dranzer S". They cannot even put enough effort to have consistent naming on the box. As a collector I'm sad tbh. Even though the Evolution line packaging isn't that bad. At least they didn't mess up the clear plastic again... because there was none.

So my Takara Dragoon S can stay in box and I'll probably use these Hasbro ones. Maybe the smaller wings improve Dragoon's performance, would be really cool.

Trans is apart of the Switch Strike line, I'm not surprised in the least to see it missing from Dranzer. I never got the chance to own any of the main character beys as a kid either. I was stupid and spent my allowance on beys like Hayate.

Honestly though I'm more excited for the dual packs with Istros and Surtr, does anyone have the link to those images?

I actually find this really funny. Hasbro starts producing higher quality Beys (i.e., Switchstrike) and then they go back to doing the least, for easily the most anticipated releases.

The box for the Dragoon Storm & Dranzer S Dual Pack, which comes with Dragoon Storm Wing Xtreme and Dranzer Spiral Spread Unite, is already in this thread, so I'm just going to show the Beys for that one. While I wish Hasbro released Dranzer Spiral with Trans, another thing I don't like is the fact that Hasbro removed the words that would say the Plastic Gen Bey's names. Both of them used to say Dragoon S and Dranzer S on their stickers for TT, but for Hasbro, it looks like it's removed completely.
