RE: Starter Variant Lucifer.Mb 2D - Jinbee - Jun. 12, 2020 The design looks great, it definitely reminds me of Duo Apollo, but more so the Crown clear wheel from Metal Fight Beyblade. The driver looks odd but it's interesting too. RE: Starter Variant Lucifer.Mb 2D - LOL-y Rancher - Jun. 12, 2020 Oh my god... news! Real news! Huzzah! And Variant Lucifer looks fantastic! I absolutely love the design of the bey and I can't wait to see it in action! RE: Starter Variant Lucifer.Mb 2D - Orbit - Jun. 12, 2020 I think Mb is metal Bearing, it makes sense after all, it can’t be dash so yeah. As for the chassis, I’m pretty sure that on the Uranus beyblade it has 1D Wheel while Lucifer has a double chassis. It looks like this in the pictures at least. RE: Starter Variant Lucifer.Mb 2D - XXSYPHERXX - Jun. 12, 2020 It seems that Lucifer is similar to Helios the same could be said for "Uranus" and Hyperion so theory time the dark versions of the Hyperion of and Helios respectively are placeholders for these beys. Starter Variant Lucifer.Mb 2D Release Date: July 18th, 2020 RE: Starter Variant Lucifer.Mb 2D - DeceasedCrab - Jun. 12, 2020 Do we really need two threads for this? Give me one good reason not to merge this into the Codename L thread and change the title on that one. ("Codename L") - MagikHorse - Jun. 12, 2020 It looks just as weak as it did in the silhouette, but at least it looks awesome. I doubt the Variant ring will see much play with so many little spikes, as this sort of design has failed constantly in the past, but I'll reserve judgement on everything else until we can get more info on it. Interesting to note that Lucifer is the first Sparking chip with no chip core compatibility, and Variant is the first ring that doesn't fully encompass the top edges of the chassis. Instead you sort of get this pair of arches, which is a pretty neat design and will likely make it easier to remove the chassis from Variant. ("Codename L") - JavariTheChamp - Jun. 12, 2020 I personally believe this ring is gonna be mid tbh, better alternatives definitly, just as majikhorse said, this type design turned out terrible in the past, lets just hope the parts can carry this combo. Especially how entrieging the driver is RE: B-??? Starter ??? Especially how entrieging the driver isBut from what I remember this design was bad particularly due to bad burst resistance but thanks to the double chassis parts in superking that problem should be beyond resolved. RE: B-??? Starter ??? ("Codename L") - JavariTheChamp - Jun. 12, 2020 Yeah lets hope, just another case on ' a beyblade looks cool but might not be as good as it looks' RE: Starter Variant Lucifer.Mb 2D - Executioner - Jun. 12, 2020 Looks like there is something coming out of a chassis. Metal like "blades" maby thats the gimmick. Remember in the spoilers of episode 15? ( if I'm right about episode number) Lane said that he will beat Lui without even touching his bay. RE: Starter Variant Lucifer.Mb 2D - Needforspeed - Jun. 12, 2020 Looks like the bey gimmick is like a XTX from Mfb RE: Starter Variant Lucifer.Mb 2D - Zeutron - Jun. 12, 2020 (Jun. 12, 2020 8:03 AM)Executioner Wrote: Looks like there is something coming out of a chassis. Apparently if you look at the purple in the teaser for this bey you can see that it has giant blades that pop out and guard the inner layer RE: B-??? Starter Variant Lucifer .Mb 2D - ~Mana~ - Jun. 12, 2020 Just to bring information over from the Uranus thread; CoroCoro apparently mentions this to be Variant Lucifer Mobius 2D and will release as a Starter on July 18th 2020. It will include a black Sparking BeyLauncher R. For discussion on the new Uranus, please ensure that discussion stays in it's designated thread. EDIT: Apparently we had two threads on this topic? I've merged these together now, but please be mindful of creating duplicate threads just because there's new news, haha. RE: B-??? Starter Variant Lucifer.Mb 2D - Lugal Ki En - Jun. 12, 2020 This is def just some wishful thinking on my part, but maybe Variant has some cool gimmick like Alter Chronos? Either way, this release looks too sick and I'll def be pre-ordering one ASAP RE: B-??? They are quite large, it just looks like the background of the picture at first. I'm sure TT have picked up lessons from trying this in the past, I am curious how effective this idea will be now. RE: B-??? Starter Variant Lucifer.Mb 2D - Dasmind - Jun. 12, 2020 LUCIFER, A BEYBLADE WITH A BARRIER RE: B-??? Starter Variant Lucifer.Mb 2D - Valtryek Aoi - Jun. 12, 2020 Is that the translation? Glad that there's hope for this Layer/Chassis to actually be good. I wonder if it'll act like the Cho-Z Awakening System or something more akin to Variares RE: B-??? Starter Variant Lucifer.Mb 2D - Dodgest - Jun. 12, 2020 So the launcher comes with the bey like the launcher with Master Diambolos? I wonder if we will get a special black or purple painted chasis? I'm definitely buying 2 of this bey RE: B-??? Starter Variant Lucifer.Mb 2D - A potato - Jun. 13, 2020 The barrier parts look like it would break easily like bullet's thin core. |
