RE: Face Contest: Design a Zero-G Cerberus Beyblade! - SwordFIN89 - Dec. 22, 2012
I'm not a very good artist but here are my designs. They look mostly like shapes but I try to explain them as good as possible.
Beys name is Bloodfang Cerberus TC160WBS.
Chrome Wheel: Cerberus http://i716.photobucket.com/albums/ww166/Darkauron_01/Cerberus_zps7eca08fe.gif
In this chrome wheel there are flames and some sort of chain looking things what I simply call 'chains'. Bottom of this picture there are shape of three dog heads. Around this chrome wheel there are spikes, fangs and claws.
Crystal Wheel: Bloodfang http://i716.photobucket.com/albums/ww166/Darkauron_01/CrystalWheel_zps35b93415.gif
It's shape is a little different than the chrome wheel but not much. There are also chains but with different color. There are some tribals that represent 'blood' or that should the case. The 'crystal' or whatever is red because It suited more for a gem than purple.
Spin track: Tearing Claw 160 http://i716.photobucket.com/albums/ww166/Darkauron_01/TearingClaw160_zps29a64549.gif
Alright the spin track is called 'Tearing Claw' because there are 6 claws that starts wide on the actual spin track and gets thinner and thinner on outer rim. I don't have side view about this but I think you know what I mean.
Performance tip: Wide Ball Sharp http://i716.photobucket.com/albums/ww166/Darkauron_01/WideBallSharp_zpsccb37fc6.gif
There is not much to explain about this. Simply said it's a BS tip with wider area similarity to WB tip.
If there is any questions about these then ask. I will gladly answer those.

It was fun to do it. Still, a bit frustrating. Well, the words are yours.

- * Hunter Cerberous BD145 AD
- *Facebolt: Kerberous
[Image: kerberous_stoneface_by_00crazy-d5oxmlq.png]
This is the usual, plastic Stone Face. It's depict Cerberus, the beast of the Underworld. It's made in a simple way, with each image depicting a head of Cerberus.
It's original release comes in grey color and black-and-white printing.
*Crystal Wheel : Hunter
[Image: hunter_crystalwheel_by_00crazy-d5oxq2r.png]
The Hunter wheel is divided in two blades, with depictions of weapons and some tools between abstract details.
It doesn't really offer any actual form of contact, despite the outward points and sharpy appearance. Even then, it's appear to have Smash potential, albeit minimal. At the middle of the circunference, there are two bigger gaps, dividing the blades.
The original release of Hunter features translucent greyed-out orange plastic.
*Chrome Wheel : Kerberous
[Image: kerberous_chromewheel_by_00crazy-d5oxpbo.png]
Weight : Average
The Kerberous wheel is divided in six sections, having three major contact points and three minor ones, and have a nearly-circular form (despite the drawing's imperfections).
Each head of Kerberous is contained in each major section, each one having a different effect upon contact with the opponent, hanging between Spike attack, Smash and Force Smash. The tails shares it's characteristics with it's most frontal head.
The weight in this wheel is mostly contained at the bigger sections, making this wheel a possible Stamina alternative. Also, it's slightly bigger than normal wheels, but almost unnoticeable.
But the actual highlight goes to the gimmick of dual Crystal Slot, letting the user to conform itself with each situation and Wheel.
*Spin Track : Balance Disturb 165
[Image: bd165_by_00crazy-d5oxrw3.png]
This Spin Track strongly resemble S130 and BD145, as of it is compounded of a tall track circled by a large disk, although it's gimmick resemble more of GB145.
If examinated, 6 round spikes are to be found around the disk's extension. Those actually latches the two halfs of BD165 together.
When opened, each half of the disk presents different functions; the bigger half is hollow, but for plastic walls, which can be detached and fixed on fissures across the wheel. The smaller half of the wheel contain six holes, in which three have metal balls, which man be moved between the spaces.
Therefore, it's possible to modify the weight distribuction and thus influenciate heavily on the Beyblade's moviment and balance. Besides that, the disk can be removed and turned upside down, decreasing the space between BD165 and the upper wheels, increasing Stamina and Defense.
One should be careful with the spikes around the wheel, which could provide Recoil, this wheel proves to be a possible Top-Tier in Stamina, and maybe Attack combinations.
It's origianlly features pitch-black color.
*Performance Tip : Around Defense
[Image: ad_performancetip_by_00crazy-d5oxt4z.png]
This tip is the second tip to exist to have a mode-change gimmick in itself, which also make it one of the tallest tips in the game.
The tip is composed of a sharp tip with a base, and two latches, with two modes, Stand Mode and React Mode.
In Stand mode, the base is raised, showing more of the Sharp tip, and is freespinning, much like AS. Meanwhile, when in React mode, the base is lowered, and becomes fixed, leaving AD with a much more agressive motion, acting like CS.
The mode change is done by pressing both switches, found just under the geared ring, and moving the base.
Overall, this tip is noticeably useful for defensive combinations, as the round shape of the tip's base restrain the offensive moviment drastically.
The first version of AD features dark-purple plastic, with a translucent base.
Hope it's not TOO bad. Thanks!

Seriously, Bazooka, I was about to warn you up to thirty-percent from your current twenty percent because you totally deserve it for not reading anything, apparently, but that would have suspended you for twenty-four hours, so it would have been impossible for you to post your entry. So, post it, and then I will give you your warning ...

OK, So let's all stop attacking Bazooka for asking about being late. He obviousely didn't know the time difference from where this site is and US ESDT. It is 10:25 here and the site time says 3:25. Not a poor question from a 13 year old but a simple one. I posted his entry not him. If you feel the need to give a warning out, give it to me. Ga' I do not appreciate you calling him or his actions dumb in a public forum as well. Thats called cyber-bullying. the rest of these posts need to stay in pm's only not on a public forum.
I am his father by the way
RE: Face Contest: Design a Zero-G Cerberus Beyblade! - Kai-V - Dec. 23, 2012
In the first post, it clearly indicates the deadline in EST, and I had litterally just posted a few minutes beforehand that there were many hours left, so either he lives in a timezone he can refer to and compare with EST, or he can do simple mathematics by looking at the current time at the bottom of every page on this message board and comparing with when I posted the time left.

The ending period for the event was stated in bold in the op. It ends tonight at at 11:59PM EST. I really do not know why you would need to compare it to the site's time unless that was what your son was looking at first. (If it says EST, just find an EST clock and compare it to that. Simple enough)
And if you posted his entry for him why would you even need to reword and reiterate the same line that got Bazooka warned? Doesn't really make any sense.
EDIT: Ninja'd again.

My Entry
[Image: timewalkerKerberia_asbelLhant_zps3ed2ce0d.png]
Stone Face - Three heads of the Cerberus. Don't ask why the middle one is bit the chain.
Chromium wheel- Depicts the three heads of Cerberus. I used flames to show the part of the myth that they see the past, present, and future. The Past one is burning brightly, the Present one has moderate flames, and the Future one is already burnt out. The skeletal ribcage is supposed to represent the Gates to the Underworld that it guards, not Bahamdia.
Crystal Wheel - Timewalker - gears twisted together.
Track - shock absorbing
Bottom - rubber, attack type

Whew! Barely made it! Anyways, this is my entry: Hoplite Kerbecs G145MD. It was done in the past 4 hours, and I hope that you like it.
Just a warning: I wrote way too much about my entry.
Hoplite Kerbecs G145MD
Type: Stamina
Face: Kerbecs
The face depicts Cerberus, the three-headed dog, who is the guardian of the Underworld in Greek mythology. It depicts the three dark heads with glowing red eyes and chains.
http://s1310.beta.photobucket.com/user/Barry_Ren/media/Page_1_zpsc5e84adc.jpg.html?sort=3&o=4#/user/Barry_Ren/media/Page_1_zpsc5e84adc.jpg.html?sort=3&o=4&_suid=135623798132604919325470981441
Chrome Wheel: Kerbecs
The Chrome Wheel is one of the most unique parts of this Beyblade. It has the three heads of Cerberus, equally spaced around the wheel, facing out. There are also three paws between the heads, and they are all bound together with chains, fitting the theme of Kerbecs. The circumference is meant to look like something that a dog bit, as Cerberus is after all a three headed dog. As per usual, there is a hole between two of the heads for the Crystal Wheel to show through. The heads protrude out a little from the wheel. This produces some smash attack and recoil, and also aids in the Flywheel Effect. Also, attached to each one of the heads are chains about two centimeters long. These chains have two modes, one of which is exclusive to the track that Hoplite Kerbecs comes with. The first is Lashing Chains Mode, in which the chains are loose and the centrifugal force of the Beyblade allows these chains to whip at opponents. Unfortunately, because the chains are rather small, the effect is not very large. Fortunately, because of this, this part is not very dangerous to other Beyblades, the stadiums, or the bladders. However, the chains almost double the diameter of Hoplite Kerbecs, once again dubbing Kerbecs as the widest Beyblade. Also reminiscent of Hell Kerbecs, there is another mode that is exclusive to the Track, G145. It is called Chain Armor Mode. In this mode, the chains attach to the sides of the Track. As the Beyblade spins, the chains form a sort of a wall and protect it from low attacking Beyblades. Overall, Kerbecs is a very unique Chrome Wheel, with an idea never before seen in Metal Fight Beyblade.

Crystal Wheel: Hoplite
A hoplite is an ancient Greek foot soldier. Because Cerberus is from Greek mythology, I have decided to name the Crystal Wheel after a type of ancient Greek warrior. The Hoplite Crystal Wheel has the element of fire, and it can be seen through the hole in the Chrome Wheel. The main weapons and equipment that hoplites had were spears, short swords, and shields, so the Crystal Wheel is designed with those. The short swords line up with the places where the heads are, and were intended to give it extra smash. The shield part takes up the majority of the wheel; it resides in the center and lines up with G130 quite well. The spear is seen protruding out between the heads, where the paws are. Interestingly, other than the Greek part, the Hoplite wheel has no connection to previous themes in Kerbecs Beyblades, like chains.
http://s1310.beta.photobucket.com/user/Barry_Ren/media/Page_3_zpsbba6d7fd.jpg.html?sort=3&o=2#/user/Barry_Ren/media/Page_3_zpsbba6d7fd.jpg.html?sort=3&o=2&_suid=1356238295156043258916641282285
Track: Grow 145
This Track, as the name suggests, is meant to grow and increase in height in battle. How this works is similar to the centrifugal tabs of the 4D bottoms, but less complicated. The natural height of the Beyblade is 230. When launched, there are six mini tabs inside the tabs that “pull†the track down to the 145 height or somewhere in between, depending on the launch power. There are hinges in there that help achieve this. This Track theoretically wouldn't be very useful except for in niche Stamina customizations.
http://s1310.beta.photobucket.com/user/Barry_Ren/media/Page_5_zps754ee9d6.jpg.html?sort=3&o=0#/user/Barry_Ren/media/Page_5_zps754ee9d6.jpg.html?sort=3&o=0&_suid=135623853409106916420892592876
Bottom: Metal Defense
We’ve had basic Bottoms (F, B, D, S).We’ve had special materials (R-, M-). The combinations are RF, MF, RB, MB, RD, MD, RS, MS. The only ones that haven’t been used are RD and MD. Because Kerbecs is a Stamina Beyblade, I chose MD over RD. If this part was ever released, all Stamina combinations will probably switch from D, SD, WD, and EWD to MD, since it’s just better. The friction between metal and plastic is perfect for Stamina, and it isn’t held back by a horrendous shape *cough**cough*MS*cough**cough*. I actually originally considered fusing G130 and MD together into a 4D bottom (G ) so it wouldn’t be considered overpowered, but I decided against it because it is easily knocked out by, say VariAres due to low friction. MD is the size of D, but metal.

Overall: I feel like this was a somewhat unique entry, and I’d have a somewhat decent shot at winning if I did better on my Chrome Wheel and Crystal Wheel. Plus, there are some other really great entries! Good luck to you all!
Sorry there's no side view. I ran out of time, but I intended it for one head to be facing you and the chains "tethered" to the Track. You can use your imaginations.
I have seen very great entries, and they all have a very good chance of winning. Good luck to all y'all!
