Considering that they still appear to be just metaphorical representations, almost now more than ever before in Beyblade, you will probably not see any relation with them.

I've trashed MFB's anime/manga a few times, but if nothing else, Ryuuga was really cool and menacing in a way most Beyblade villains aren't. I hope we'll get something similar in Burst, but the whole tone of the series doesn't even seem to allow for it.

@[Kai-V] - Y'know, that can be kinda confusing in MFB sometimes because whilst it is usually clear that the beasts/motifs are metaphorical representations, I have seen Gingka ride on Pegasis in MFB ep 51 which is wierd to believe that a spinning top is up... you know where. Unless Storm Pegasis actually did use it's powers to turn into its motif, it made no sense to me. I'm also pretty sure that scene was suppose to be legit and not some wierd metaphor in any kind.

I didn't really care for Ryuuga so much, I thought his design was stupid.

OH GOD NO! I do not want another dominating character with the most boring battles after a while, I'm really sick of seeing him just going "HMPH! MY LEFT ROTATING BLAH BLAH BLAH! I NEED MY LEFT ROTATION!"

Well, I'm talking more about how he was introduced ... if he became more annoying later, I'm sorry to hear it. Mostly I just think his design is cool and his personality seemed fitting.

Ryuuga was badass for quite a while and he mostly disappeared from the show before anybody could get tired of him, honestly. I think those who dislike him must have seen the dub only with the very questionable voice actor choice for Ryuuga ... Which was also mispronounced as raw-yuga, just to make that part of the dub worse.

In the original version, I really have no critique for this character.

No, I have seen both dub and raw versions of Ryuuga, heck I only really watched the raw 4D series more, and that was when I found him at his most boring, he's so dominant that I was glad Rago beat him, I didn't want him to be killed mind you, but that battle was exciting because Ryuga was actually the most worried there. I don't hate this character, I just find him overrated, but that's just my opinion of him, he's not in my top 10.

If you like Ryuuya, that's fine, for my annoyance of him later on, it mostly just applies to the fact that I hate seeing his battles and him being OP.

The animation for the Beyblades was okay IMO, the characters can come off as stiff or sometimes decent, despite me not liking the 4D anime that much, it's probably where the animation was at it's best, it's definitely better than the 2000 series. Yeah I'm still bothered that they managed to make up THAT design of Titi... and name it a dude.

Oh right I see it, on the prong section anyway. Then again if they can use a lame Dark Wolf recolour as an excuse for Killer Gemios, then this should be in too.

The raw version I usually prefer although I've grown on the dub a little more, for Fusion and Masters anyway. I plan on revisiting Metal Fury to see if the dub and the series in general was as bad as I thought, since I haven't seen it in a while, plus I always love the Sphere 360 episodes.

I just saw this post, but I really want to reply to it.

I watched the dub and the original Japanese raw of the first season. In the raw I loved Ryuuga, and actually most of the characters. The dub made me hate most of the characters. It was a good dub in terms of story, but I feel that everything else was shoddy.

Okay so I decided to rewatch the 4D series dub, and honestly, it wasn't as bad as I remembered to be, nothing felt as repetitive or as boring as I thought. I guess for now, Zero G will remain lower for the time being, until I decide to revisit it.

In Rock Leones case, the show seems to like glorifying that Leone is a defense type that is really good at attack, I'm sure it could just be Kyoyas aggressive nature but they specifically say Leone. I think Phantom Orion, Blitz Unicorno and Basalt Horogium seem to be the closest to being correctly labelled based on type although Basalt Horogium could also be seen as a stamina type. I am not sure about labelled Balance types though, since I'm not an expert on Balance type combos.

Anyway I'm getting off topic.
