Blackmill are gods. Even if you are a noob to the Dubstep genre I recommend them. Rain is such a relaxing melody.

deadmau5 I dont like toooo much. I listen to alot of dubstep though. Zomboy and Pendulum.

Dropping in just to say that dubstep from today's dubstep sounds NOTHING like that from 2009 and older.
I have a few tracks from that time period, and even then I don't like the genre as a whole.

YES! Skrillex, you know someone should make a Skrillex thread. I also love that song, the genre itself is impressive, but I prefer Hardstyle better.

Why don't you guys look up the Channel "MonsterCat"? It not only has Dubstep, it DnB, Electro, House, etc. It has alot of good Dubstep songs, Ephixa's featured in one of 'em.

I'm honestly missing why this genre is gaining so much popularity.. there are very few interesting pieces around, and after hearing enough of the average stuff you realize it's all the same. let me repeat that: it's all the same
typical piece is:
meaningless intro followed by filler.... and then you guessed it: buuuuuuur durrr dur wubwubwub bur bur burrrrrrrr wobble wobble BAY wobble wobble BEE Wahwahwahwah.. more filler - then rinse and repeat.
Don't get me wrong though.. There are nine dubstep tracks that made it into my playlist after a month of exploring the genre. That list started out MUCH bigger from an even larger pool of dubstep and was finally filtered down to things I could regularly abuse my subwoofer with.
There's honestly more variation in the music of your typical popular anime than there is in the entire genre of dubstep.. check out any of the original beyblade OST's and you'll see what I mean.
And just so I don't seem like I literally hate all of dubstep, I'll leave one of the few pieces I like:
