The Apex Corporation has developed what they call Beyblades. Spinning tops made from Plastic, metal, and other materials. It is a game played for sport, purely for fun. They took the world by storm, and Apex made a huge profit. However 1 year after Beyblades where launched, a group of people got them for the first time. This caused mysterious occurrences to happen. This group caught the publics eye and was named the G Generation. More and more people became apart of the G Generation, seemingly by luck, to the point where the majority of players were apart of it. Due to unknown reasons relating to the G Generation, Apex has called for a total recall, and they're using brutal force. What will happen to the Sport of Beyblade, and what is the mystery hidden within the tops?

Characters So Far

Rei Osiris
The protagonist. He doesn't remember his parents, and was taken in by his Grandpa. 
He doesn't have much going for him, but he's a hard worker.

Shinei Kakusei
The so called "Great Reaper". He hates Rei despite just meeting him for unknown reasons.
He has a heart deep down, but doesn't show it to anyone but his little sister.

"G" Freeman
The chairman of Apex Corp. He is in charge of the "Apex Raids" where armies go from town to town destroying Beyblades.
He rules with an iron fist, and wishes to have more control than his superior, who he can't even see.

Kira
A girl that is apart of Shinei and Rei's team. She is a close friend of them, but can get angry very easily.
She wants to learn how to adapt situation's so she can never lose. No one knows where she lives or her relatives.

X, Y, and Z
Lonely Joker members. They go against the Atermis Breakers in the first battle of the Underground Tournament.
Something seems off about them.....

Radiant Artemis Burst Revolution
Gear Core Artemis: An emblem showing a golden knight.
Gear Switch Radiant: An 8 bladed jagged ring, made of only metal.
Gear Drive Burst: A blue half sphere that unleashes 4 spikes when it gets directly hit.
Gear Tip Revolution: A red and sharp rubber tip.

Scythe Thanatos Soul Counter
Gear Core Thanatos: An emblem showing a Reaper.
Gear Switch Scythe: A ring with 1 giant and sharp metal blade. The rest of it is rubber shields.
Gear Drive Soul: A sharp half sphere. It's "Fangs" can counter beys that try to exploit the possible weak point.
Gear Tip Counter: A cylinder shape, half metal have rubber tip. The bey leans on one side to choose which material to use.

Hollow Nemesis Bite Smooth
Gear Core Nemesis: An emblem showing a iron robot.
Gear Switch Hollow: A free spinning ring with 8 small shield.
Gear Drive Bite: A thin pyramid shape.
Gear Tip Smooth: A POM Disc made for optimal stamina.

Whole new generation, separate from them. You can call it the Apex Generation.

This is a world where a sport exists called Beyblade. It was made by the Apex Corporation. However tons of people suddenly "resonated" with their Beyblades, causing mysterious happening! Due to this there was a total recall that's still in affect. If you have a Bey, you can be targeted, and if you don't give it up they can use brutal force. Rei Osiris has always wanted a Beyblade. He lives deep in the country, so if he got one, they would never know......

(A boy is tinkering with the radio. It suddenly gets a signal.)

Announcer: Alright Bladers! Today's battle will start now!

Rei: Aw man, I wish I could have a Bey! Could I, Grandpa?

Grandpa: Beys are dangerous, it'l get you targeted. By the way, how'd you even get that signal?

Rei: It's a secret, maybe I'll tell you if you give me my very own Beyblade.

Grandpa: Jeez, you're a riot. Don't get yourself into trouble, got it!

(Rei runs off.)

Rei's Thoughts: Grandpa was an archeologist right? I think his work is cool, but why can't he just let me have a Beyblade? Now where are his tools....

(In the shed outside of his house, Rei finds lots of materials piled with sharp tools and a furnace.)

Rei: This is perfect! Now what should my bey be? Well, I can only go off of what I've been hearing from that radio. What was it, a Core, Switch, Drive, and Tip Right?

Rei: The core is simple! I'll make an emblem of a fierce night! (Rei molds the core.)

Rei: Now for the Switch...that's like ring a right? I'll make it all metal! (Rei lazily constructs a ring with 8 blades.)

Rei: The Drive is the underside.....c'mon think! Couldn't that be a weak spot? There's no weak spots on my bey! I'll make it shoot out spikes at attackers! (Rei builds a blue Drive with a spike mechanism.)

Rei: Now the easiest part, just a Tip. (Rei cuts a thin piece of rubber and attaches it to his bey.)

Rei: It's decided! You'll be...Radiant Artemis! You look a bit shabby though....a test launch is in order!

(Rei uses knives to cut up a small wooden dome.)

Rei: This is barely bigger than Artemis...Aw whatever, time for the launcher!

(Rei makes a wooden launcher, using the last of his gears.)

Rei: Time to test this out! What do they say? Oh yeah! 3, 2, 1, Let it Rip!

(His Beyblade speeds around, before launching out of the stadium and into the window.)

Rei: Woah, Artemis! You're so rowdy...just like me! I guess you're a perfect fit then huh? Now I'll have to keep training. Soon when you grace a grand stadium, you'll be faster that light itself!

(Rei runs outside, with Artemis and his launcher.)

Chapter 2: Artemis Trials

Rei: This is it! Go Artemis! Ultimate Destruction-

(Artemis hits a tree and ricochets into Rei's face.)

Rei: Aw man, they make this Beyblade stuff sound so easy. Maybe I should ask you how to do it, you're a Beyblade Artemis, right?

(Artemis shines in the sunlight.)

Rei: Hmm... First, I need to perfect my launch. A weak launch will give my Beyblade and bad start!

(Rei carves some stick figure's into a tree.)

Rei: Swing my arms to the left, jump forward, swing my arms back, and launch! It's perfect! Ready Artemis? 3, 2, 1, Let it Rip!

(Rei flies in the air, and them falls in a lake.)

Rei: What! Oh no! (Rei dives in the lake quickly to catch Artemis.)

(Hours Later)

Rei: It's already nighttime huh? I guess it's time for me to sleep. (Rei sleeps with Artemis in his hand. Suddenly, Artemis glows.)

Rei: What? Where am I?

???: You are more than you think you are. Discover your destiny with Artemis.

Rei: What, who are....(Rei blacks out)

(Rei wakes up to the sound of food cooking.)

Rei: Oh, that was a dream. Destiny? Me? I guess I should be Blading more? I already planned to do that though. Nah, this country side won't be enough. I have to meet new people, and see new things! Maybe even go against another Blader! I've decided! I'm heading over to Big City!

Grandpa: What are you yapping about? Come over here, it's time to eat.

Chapter 3 Preview

Rei: Please Grandpa! I'll be fine, see, check out Artemis!

Grandpa: You aren't going anywhere.....Apex is scary. I've seen what they've uncovered with my own 2 eyes.....I won't let you get exposed to their activities.

Rei: Scary, what do you mean by that?

Grandpa: Any who, just finish your Breakfast.

I hope you enjoy! I was worrying about this a lot, but I had a lot of fun writing the set up for my story! I've hid some important things here and there, so don't forget them, they'll be important near the end.
