I mean, sure, it's Valt first move and he does use it fairly frequently in the series, but it's by no means overrated. Heck, even Jet Shoot and its variants could be considered more overrated (even tho they're not either).

Yeah Lucifer The End is pretty powerful and ngl his special move is the number 1 strongest move in Sparking
