Eren talks to Armin, sure. but what's actually unforgivable comes up. Ymir was a slave, she couldn't escape cause she was forced to stay? Aparently she had stockholm syndrome and Mikasa showed her what true love was so she was free. This didn't need to exist. Ymir was an eternal slave, Eren freed her form her chains, end of story. But no, gotta get more page time.

Also....EREN GOT HIS MOM KILLED? The entire reason he hates Titan is because he Mom got killed, so now he made it happen? He mad himself, hate Titans. Why? Motivation? Already had it, and his Mom was gonna die either way. Bro I just can't.

Also, turns out Eren's a cringy Mikasa simp that hates he idea of another man with here. Literally an incel. 180 of his character, those have never been his motivations and he was trying to make her forget about him. Not epic.

Ok so Eren simping for Mikasa is insanely forced. I get what they were going for with the Mikasa imagination being what they both wanted and oh nooo it didn't turn out that way so sad. But man, this plot shouldn't be able to exist in the first place.  Eren never liked Mikasa that way to begin with, and the fact that he went baby rage and decided to genocide the world cause he got friend zoned (more like family zoned) is trashed. That shouldn't be on the same level of protecting the people of Paradis.

Ok so Eren shows Armin the entire world while in Paths, that was actually sweet. The dialogue on the other hand.......He doesn't know why he did the Rumbling. On a whim, he was genuinely bored. This is literally SAO lmaoo. Not only that but SAO is actually kinda made sense for the villain, but here? Nah. Remember how he had to come to terms with genocide or else all the people he loved would die? Nah, that didn't happen. He just did it on a whim, so reason at all, despite the reason being clearly defined.

Also Paths worm just went poof, no explanation. Also you know the stakes form last chapter, important character got turned into titans? Anticlimactic.  Levi scene was actually good, but then Mikasa runs away too bury his head...and Armin talk no jutsu's the racist people who still hate Paradis gang. Time skip and Armin plans to talk it out woth the world leaders, as Eren supporters try to get freedom for Paradis.

Haven't caught on yet? THE RUMBLING ACCOMPLISHED NOTHING. The entire point was to free Paradis, but nah. That was retconned and the real reason for the Rumbling was because he way big mad that Mikasa didn't like him, when she clearly liked him to begin with. He killed 80% of the world for a trivial reason, and now the smart people have to do all the work and get freedom.

The ending is pretty pee pee poo poo, but the large majority of the manga is great. I would still recommend it since as I said most of it was great, but man that ending kinda ruins everything. But I still feel like it should be experienced, kinda hard to explain. Anyways RIP Rest In...Mediocrity? Not Power, doesn't deserve it.
