The saddest part is that even the other bladers that are considered “lower tier” like Silas and Ranjiro have risen up in strength and are putting up decent fights while generally performing on par with everyone else if not somewhat better at times during this tournament but for some reason Rantaro seems to be the only one who continues sucking.

Maybs it's like Cuza and Amane? Maybe Valt and Rantaro are gonna be the only team to beat Shu and Lane? Who knows, but I'm excited.

Maybe it is. I did some coordinating and it does seem like Lane and Shu have to lose at least one battle. The reason why is because the record distribution among the other contestants would be super imbalanced if they didn’t.

No matter how you think about it Rantaro weighs down Valt.
Exactly. It's hard for Valt to really do his thing when it's basically a 2v1 every battle.
I think the twins will lose Round 2 but come back hot against Aiger and Ranjiro in round 3

I think that the other two matches will be Valt/ Rantaro vs. Free/ Silas and Shu/ Lain vs Lui/ Dante. Cause if Valt and Rantaro or Free and Silas face Shu and Lain now, the last match will be a repeat of episode 41 or 39

And with that, round 4-5 could have the following set of matches in either order: Hikaru/ Hyuga vs Lui/ Dante, Shu/ Lain vs Free/ Silas, and Valt/ Rantaro vs Aiger/ Ranjiro. And the other round would be Valt/ Rantaro vs Shu/ Lain, Aiger/ Ranjiro vs Lui/ Dante, and Free/ Silas vs Hikaru/ Hyuga
Ok now are they gonna pull off the there gonna lose to the so called "legend of legends" and "man of man". Like that and just win against the World Champ and Broomhead like that.

If they have a better strategy this time, then they can win and not have one get singled out. I'm not really banking on Hyuga and Hikaru winning the first one, since they're attitude towards each other seems a bit off... but they could totally 180 and win, who knows.

That’s another good point. Valt and Rantaro can’t keep walking into this without any planned or improvised strategy because if they do, they’re gonna continue to get thrashed.
you know I actually think the bros will lose this match too cause of how their clashing with each other i think they'll put a way better fight than their first match and learn something from that lost to improved and stop fighting between themselves, but they will win the rest of the tournament which is fine I always believe they are more fit to be tag partners best rather the individually the best. I do hope valt and rantaro have a tactic this time out of all the legends they haven't done any tactics/plan
Come on, Aiga is using the Sword again. What about the Infinite Shield?

The brothers. Looks like there will be 2 battles with Hikaru and Hyuga.

Ah you know he doesnt use Shield that much. Imagine if he used Balance Mode.
Next week can't get here soon enough. I'm keen to see some interesting combination moves from the bros.

It'll just be ReVoLuTiOn BrEaK which is just a Twin Strike clone but they have limit break activated 😎

I'd be down for that. A little name change never hurt anyone.

Agreed. They may not do it though. Will probably keep it twin strike.
If Aiga and Ranjiro face Hikaru and Hyuga, it confirms that:
Free and Sisco vs Valt and Rantaro.
Shu and Lane vs Lui and Drum.
I'll explain why, Free and Sisco can't battle Lui and Drum again, and they can't battle Shu and Lane, because that would make Valt and Rantaro vs Lui and Drum again. That pretty much confirms the matches I said.

Alright I was able to do some calculations thanks to your post and I've come to the conclusion that Valt and Rantaro are gonna beat Hikaru and Hyuga this round, but then there will be a rematch between them to find out who's gonna advance to the finals as they will have the same amount of wins and losses, here are my tallies:

Twins: 3 wins, 2 losses (after losing to Valt and Rantaro they go on a winning streak)
V+R: 3 wins, 2 losses (I do believe that Valt and Rantaro will somehow manage to beat Shu and Lane but lose to aiga and ranjiro)
A+R: 2 wins, 3 losses (Beat Valt and Rantaro, already beat free and Sisco, lose to the rest)
F+S: 1 win, 4 losses (oof lol)
L+D 2 wins, 3 losses (Beat Valt and Rantaro/Aiga and Ranjiro, lose to the rest
S+L 4 wins, 1 loss (Lose to Valt and Rantaro, and beat everyone else)

Again, I'm just guessing the winners of each match that you posted and writing it down because sparking's tournaments have made it hard to make out a clear winner of several matches, but this looks like the most certain trajectory of how the tournament's going to go right now.
Since the episode comes out 4 days from now. All Imma say is this: No matter who wins or losses the battle will be memorable.
And Plus I think Shu and Lane will only lose to the bros
