World Beyblade Organization by Fighting Spirits Inc.

Okay so I've recently gotten the game for my birthday and I've been having a friggin BLAST. But it seems like I'm either not catching onto the stats right, even with (admittedly rough but still understandable) google translations. I can't quite understand what effects the chances of knocking the opponent back or what effects burst meter damage. Does anyone know how either of those mechanics work?

If your burst meter fills all the way up, you burst. Not sure about knocking the opponent back though.

No like specifically what effects the amount of damage you deal to the burst meter. I know how it works just not what affects the damage I actually deal to the meter
