I hope not, it’s a real shame the steps the writers are taking to make Hyuga seem superior with no development. He is being carried to victory at this point. Now that Hikaru has been eliminated, there will be less screen time for this so called “main protagonist” and Hyuga will be taking the gold prize.

Hyuga wasn't even deserve to join the festival. I hope he loses.

Maybe after the festival, just like Arthur destroyed Dragon after the Aiga arc. Maybe the brothers challenge a frustrated Lane (After losing to Valt) and he breaks them.

Here’s what I think will happen in the semi finals and finals:
Aiger vs Lean
Lean wins 3-1
Valt vs Hyuga
Hyuga wins almost the same way Aiger barely beats on Dante last season. But instead of Hyuga bursting Valtryek before a ring out, it’s the other way around.
Lean beats Hyuga in the finals 3-1 while breaking Hyperion
Hikaru challenges Lean after the closing ceremony wraps up for vengeance but Lucifer also breaks Helios. That way there’s no time gap for the brothers to evolve their beys since they seem to do almost everything together. Just my theory on this

Well, if that happens lean will not battle Valt at all cuz if Valt is defeated by Hyuga then lean will not get interested to battle valt at all. And shu and valt practiced to defeat lucifer.
And if Hyuga loses then he will get a reality check and will become more serious to get stronger and will evolve the bey.
Lean needs to lose in the finals against valt as well as shu afterwards. If that happens then only lean will be motivated to make a new bey to defeat the two and his flare will also increase.
Like how Aiga's darkness became stronger only when hile lost.

I don’t think Lean HAS to lose to Valt or even battle him. I do still think the semi match between Hyuga and Valt is anyone’s game but regardless of who advances to, or even wins the finals it will be Shu beating Lane that is his major inspiration to move beyond what he already is. He already stated that his main goal is to beat his master once he reaches what he deems is his highest strength. In doing so, he will have fulfilled his own personal interests but only Shu beating him will impact him enough to promote change because not only would he be losing to the blader at the top of his food chain, but he would also be losing a personal battle.
You see, this could’ve all been a perfect dynamic if valt had been the main character for presumably the last season of burst probably 😖
