Full Version: Slash Valkyrie wasted in GT

So this a pretty big subject. Does anyone else feel like Slash Valkyrie was barely in the anime. He was battling for 3 rounds, that's like one battle. Literally the only bey in GT to not battle in the hyphersphere stadium. Valkyrie was also supposed to battle Dragon in one of the intros, it was shown. This really pisses me off. Maybe since Valt and Aiger are together again, maybe they'll have a brief or something. Does anyone else think Slash Valkyrie was wasted in GT?
Well it has a battle, it is worthy to sell it, and save him for not losing

So you're saying that you're happy with his little screen time, as long as he remains unbeatable?

It seems like he will remain unbeatable just like Gingka is Zero Z

LOL even Geist Fafnir and Cho-Z Spriggan had at least one official WBBA battle (Against Phi).
However, if Valt battle Arthur after seeing he barges in to burst Dragon and Ashura......

it's really hard to tell what he means in most of his post but I think he means what if Valt battles Arthur saving Dragon and Ashura?

I don't care, as long as he battles.
All I ever wanted was Valt vs Arthur, Gwynn, and Aiga, but TT just can't have Valt battle more than twice, huh.

Even Acid Anubion had more screen time than Slash Valkyrie
Don't forget Aiga was wasted too after that battle against Arthur he dissapeared.

He had 4 major battles.

Major?
I mean wasn't it obvious that he will win against Amane, and Drum?
The only Major battle I would consider is against Delta. Arthur's debut made him lose.

Don't forget Aiga's the world champion, he obviously has a greater role in the anime compared to Valt. The point is Valt as champion had many battles and had an important role. But when it's Aiga's turn it's like "Oh, here I come here as a temporary boss for like 4 episodes of constant screentime of me and then no main character defeated me, and I'm still the champion. I'm Undefeatable wahahahha....and then I never got the oppurtunity to battle against someone after when I lose..." Like seriously? You think Aiga was not wasted? Because he had 4 battles doesn't mean he is still relevant he is already thrown in the garbage bin when he lost to Arthur. Not even he trained a bit to battle against Arthur, compared to what was shown in Cho-Z with Valt's training to take back the title belt. And thus you suggest a fair play? Remember a champions role was the biggest role last season and this whole role just got WASTED this season. I wouldn't mind if Aiga loses to Drum and becomes champion, but still this whole Aiga's being wasted in the anime just vividly shows that there is no point defeating the champion when you already beat the antagonist who beat the champion...great thinking of yours I must say. I'm not saying that Valt got justice, all I'm saying is and you have to agree with me here that both Valt, Aiga did not get justice in this series.
Idk, maybe the writers wanted to make something a bit more refreshing, like minimizing previous series protagonist interference?

I mean, Valt mentored both Drum and Delta, so I think that's more than enough importance of him for GT? He was the first to manifest Gold Turbo with Slash Valkyrie during the time both apprentices were still using Chouzetsu Beys.

Aiga also had Valt show him the ropes originally and even pushed him so far as to activate Dark/evil mode and eventually cause Valt to activate a a bum-pull move of reactivating Chouzetsu Wings just to keep up. Aiga being the world champion in GT only means as much as long as he keeps on winning despite newcomers in GT, and that goes the same for Valt in Chouzetsu.

Heck, even Shu didn't really get much screen time and was just there to promote the existence of Chouzetsu Spriggan in the Chouzetsu Customize Set. Free didn't really get too much screen time in Chouzetsu. All three of them (Valt, Shu, Free) had their fun in God series thanks to Red Eye/Shu being the major plot of the series.

Valt is already gonna come back with the upcoming series, so you shouldn't really be too flippant about how short his screen time and battles are in GT at this time. It isn't centered to him, even Lui got trashed in Chouzetsu after terrorizing lots of Bladers in Season 1 and God (and finally ending up not having a show up in GT and had a proxy under the name of Lodin instead).

I may be biased since I really don't like Valt as a character, but I adore his Valkyrie Beys to the core. i'd rather have some hot female Bladers in Burst, though. Not the weak ones, but femme fatale women.

Main point is, Valt is too mainstream. Give chance to other protagonists to shine in their own generation. Again, Valt had his fill from Season 1 to God (which is around 104 or so episodes already), still showing up in Chouzetsu as a mentor/rival, then in GT as a pure mentor. Aiga had his since Chouzetsu and some GT.screen time as well.

I blame the limited number of characters. Cuz looking back at season 3's third quarter:
Valt had training from Free, and reclaimed his title from Hearts after struggling to reclaim the title back and inspired Kitt to become a pro.
Aiga lost to Arthur....and Victories+Delta went after Arthur. Union Achilles didn't break, and since Valt was busy helping Delta...actually Delta kinda took Aiga's position as the blader who needed to get their emotions.
If we had the 16 characters and there were other rising characters, Aiga was starting to consider Dark Resonance against to counter Arthur's Dark Turbo but battling with the newbies made him reignite his passion. If Aiga were to battle Gwyn (after Gwyn vs Drum) and burst Genesis, it would've helped the story a bit more.

Then again, considering the number of people who hate Aiga, you could argue that was intentional.
