Full Version: Layer Base - Imperial

=Description=
Imperial is an attack type layer base with a fused weight in the base. Imperial is a wide, recoil-inducing base. Imperial can change shape and subsequent performance with either use in battles or with the use of a tool. The first change occurs when the wings are unlocked which has a gimmick similar to that of god Valkyrie. The second and final change occurs when the wings lock to the furthest point which reveals four rubber blades on the bottom of the layer. Bars on the layer are raised higher so burst resistance is lower than on other attack layers, so pairing it with a strong GT chip and dash drivers are a must. If combined with plastic attack dash drivers, imperial can get great synergy.
=Overall=
Imperial is not a must-have but instead a welcome addition to a collection due to its high attack potential but weak burst resistance and little versatility due to only working well with plastic attack dash drivers.
From what I’ve seen, let me go over some points:

-An attack type layer base with a fused weight.

-Is a wide, recoil inducing layer that would work well for attack.

-Bars on the layer are raised higher so burst resistance is lower than on other attack layers, so pairing it with a strong GT chip and dash drivers is a must.

-Has great synergy with plastic attack dash drivers.

-A welcome addition to a blader’s collection due to its potential in attack but weaker burst resistance and it’s versatility being lower since it works better with plastic attack dash drivers.

This is speculation but is taken from what I have seen in videos and trusted sources.

Any more information as far as performance?

It works well with plastic attack dash drivers, not just dash attack drivers in general.

Yeah that was an error on my part

You forgot to put attack on the description and the overall. Just wanted to say.

Yeah I fixed that
Imperial is a base that will change shape and subsequent performance with use (or artificially with a tool)

The first change occurs when the bound wings are unlocked which gives it a gimmic similar to god valkyrie

The second and final change happens when the bound wings are pushed back to their furthest point and lock in place which reveals 4 rubber spikes/blades on the bottom of the layer.
it already has a recolor as well (other than Gold Turbo): https://twitter.com/corocoro_kakun/status/1203145436590043136
There's a rumour somewhere that says the Imperial base has some form of burst stoppers. As someone who owns it, I can safely say that it DOES NOT have burst stoppers, burst resistors, etc.

There is an area where the bound wings are exposed on the inner part of the layer base, where the disk goes. However, the gap is flush and the bound wings do not stick out enough to provide any form of burst resistance.

I would put the stuff about the base evolving right after the first sentence.

Done
It is a good and a bad base. Its bad because of the slopes. But that can be fixed with a bout a 1000 or more times bursting to get the slopes so the slopes are with the teeth. Or u can just go to a store and get some sand paper, and sand down the slopes, this is a much faster way and a 100% guaranteed to work but it still takes a while. This is what taker tomy meant by "awakening" the base.

A very powerful combo that uses this base and absolute annihilates other beys and is hard to beat is:
Achilles chip
Imperial base
Around forge disc
Xtend+/Charge driver

If you do that that is illegal and not what TT meant by that. You clearly don’t know how the layer base’s gimmick works. The wings are the parts that awaken, not the slopes.

The proper information on the slopes and the awakening are both already added
my bad. that was my fault sorry. i did just burst it about a 1000 times though and the slopes did et a little lower than. i just saw the sandpaper thing from a youtuber that's all. but the 1000 or so bursts did work though Rob it was slightly lower though which did help a little, but not to much i am still testing this theory out and i am naturally lowering the slopes. I got the idea because hasbro's slopes get worse over time im trying it but it helps the burst resistances a little

Imperial base can change shape and subsequent performance with either use in battles or with the use of a tool. One pair of golden wings feature notches underneath and can click like locks to let the other golden bound wing envloved which has a gimmick similar to that of god Valkyrie which is the first change; when the golden wings click to the furthest point to stop the bound wing, it will awaken four rubber blades on the bottom of the layer to cause stronger attack.

Cool, uh, you do realize this is a draft for a wiki article, and not a place for theorizing about illegal modifications to beys or posting combos, unless they're tested and in the wiki formats?

You can discuss your theories all you want in the product release thread for Imperial, or Beyblade Random Thoughts, but leave your tournament-illegal modifications and musings out of the wiki article draft. Maybe just steer clear of the wiki subforum in general.
imperial has an oval shape and rubber hook when awakened and it looks great the rebound modes cool too overall its a very good base even with the tall slopes

Every one already knows this. This isn't contributing to the thread at all, so why'd you post this? Already people have posted drafts on this thread that have included what you said and elaborated on it, and provided more detail. Essentially your post was just cluttering this thread.
