Final Thoughts (Click to View)

In the first section, Amaterios A3 did pretty bad overall against its Same and Opposite Spin Stamina opponents. Its win rate never cracked 25% and most of the time it was 0%. In the second section, Amaterios A3 didn't do that bad actually. It was able to Burst and KO Caynox C3, however, the problem with this Layer is the fact that there's no metal on it, meaning it has a lot less power behind its attacks. Coupled with the fact that the Layer's contact points are very small blades, you'd probably be better off using heavier Layers like Xcalius X3, Turbo Achilles A4, etc. Overall, I wouldn't recommend using this Layer. The Layers you'll see me test next are actually the first few Turbo Layers I tested, however they need some revisiting as I didn't test them against certain things that I test things against nowadays. Those Layers are Forneus F4, Wonder Valtryek V4, and Z Achilles A4.

I don't remember how much the Takara Tomy Shining Amaterios weighs, but I definitely think Amaterios A3 would've done better with metal.

I think they're pretty good, as it only burst twice in my tests. But when I was testing it for Attack, I didn't run into any issues with it self-bursting in battle. But of course, good slope tightness doesn't always equal good overall as you can see here.

First, Hasbro-Only is oofed as it hasn't had an event in like 2 years or more, so yeah... Second, even in the context of a Hasbro-Only tournament, I really don't see this Layer doing that well, as it's outclassed in Stamina (ex: Caynox C3) and Attack (ex: Xcalius X3) by other Hasbro Layers.

Amaterios A3 is under 10 grams, so I feel like even on other Drivers used in Defense Combos like Unite for example, it'd just get ragdolled by Xcalius X3 and other heavy Hasbro Attack Layers. X3 was even able to OS A3 sometimes in the event of a Burst or KO not happening because of all the hits lol.
