Yeah, I was quite alot- But if you love it enough then you ignore them any carry on anyway, tis what I did

Lol, my friends hardly care. A few actually asked, "Do you want to buy some of mine?" since they had some lying around in their house, back from 4th grade.
It's just a hobby though, no need to go public with your secret pleasures...

I've never really gotten harassed too much about it. Then again- I don't really tell many people about it. Spinning tops don't come up in conversation much. I tried to get the kids in my anime club at school interested a few years back and they managed to break/loose many of my bey....
If I do wind up telling someone about the hobby, I explain to them that there was really more to the game and get into a little detail. After the initial complaints about playing with a kids toy, they usually settle down and leave me alone about it. Chances are- the people making fun of you have some nerdy hobby too, or they just wish they could play too.
I don't really tell anyone, they just sort of find out and say "oh really, I used to watch that" or they would just say "isn't that kiddish?"
A friend of mine at college, Adam found out that I like Beyblade and he said he watches that as well, but not for a long time. The next day he came back to college and said "I watched beyblade last night"
A guy called Ben would get me the bb dvds from play.com. He would talk a lot about beyblade. My uncle even watches the show and saids he likes Kai. My brother likes saying "Let's beyblade!" from the song. And he even wants my beyblade songs on his mp3 player.
My friend kat is the best though, she excepts that I like the show and she would find me images and find songs for me, she even started to write a fanfic for beyblade.
Some of the people I know reminiscence about the good old days when the world was still bright and cheerful and not bogged down with homework.
The main reason for getting the piss taken out of you for liking it is the anime ... they saw it and thought ROFROFROF FOR GAY FAGS and automatically threw the hobby in with the anime.
But, of course, they is real dumb so, ignore the gits. There are a few people who like it where I'm from, so I'm getting off easy

Hey don't forget about me although I can't give you any pictures and I can't even find my beyblades, I looked everywhere in the loft of the house and still couldn't find them.
