Today's episode was so, so satisfying
Spoiler (Click to View)
Seeing Heart's face when he lost was satisfying, the way he lost was satisfying. Z Achilles being destroyed was satisfying and the way Phi did so was satisfying.
Hopefully this knocks Aiga's insufferable ego down.

Ok, this is easily my favorite episode. I don’t like Shu too much, and I am a Valt supporter (not my favorite character though) so I was overjoyed when Valt won. Aiga being utterly crushed was the best thing to happen to this show since Cho-Z Valkyrie and Spriggan. Speculation, but Dead Phoenix is either Phoenix Black ver., or Phi uses it to get there.

I think this is pretty much everybody's opinion. For once they didn't disappoint us.

Phi changes his energy layer disc to black and it is much stronger than the red one, which means Phi is much stronger than his brother Heartz, but he is just hiding his true dark power. Phi just only burst by Aiga once in Red Phoenix mode. Phi broke Laban and Aiga's bey but Heartz did not do any breaking to Aiga.
Now world ranking no. 1 back to Valt
2. Heartz
3/4/5. Phi/Shu/Free (Base on the previous unofficial battle to Aiga)
6. Aiga
7. Lui (more battle won in official tournament than Earl knight and Evel Oxford)

I think the top three are still Valt, Shu and Free. They should be the same level.

I agree with crazyAries about 2 of the top blades from what we've seen , valt and shu appears to be unbeatable when their burst stopper gimmick activated and give their beys a power boost, if that's so hearts will also lose if he fights shu. for now bladers with beys that has they awakening system doesn't seem to be the top. i think free would be tie with phi and hearts until aiga gets new Achilles that is which will put him top 3.

Finallly Phi broke z Achilles
Dec. 10, 2018 7:00 PM
PHI IS THE STRONGEST BLADER NOW .
At his present form and with his present bey none can defeat him .
Valt shu free and hearts are nothing before him

Hopefully this wasn't meant to be the finale of dark Aiga because if it was it was pretty underwhelming. Still, Valt vs Hearts was pure hype and Phi having such a cool comeback is nice too.

This episode was beautiful!

The symbolism is great, here. The way Valt won was by countering Hades’ move, something that matches his personality. Aiga being consoled by the others was realistic, especially when he still ran away.
Phi breaking Achilles, I think, was done to keep Aiga from becoming too strong, and Achilles yelling for Auga was splendid and heart-touching.
The flames represent Aiga’s passion for blading. He only wants to win, and can’t stand losing, so each tragic loss is like a rain-storm for that passion.
The pacing was well, and I like that they initiate Aiga’s loss of Achilles and how it affects him, too.

[My Revive Phoenix actually broke Z Achilles into two pieces. It felt weird to see it animated.]
