This was a good episode, however predictable, but decent nonetheless.
Fubuki v Souh:
Fubuki’s new ‘Emperor Crush’ was cool and it was cool to see Souh bound off the wall to use Sword Rebellion Hell Slash, but...once again, Souh got the short end of the stick...what’d he ever do to anyone? Why’d he have to be in the all introductory battles? R.I.P Souh. Also, Fubuki’s seemed really underwhelming so far in this arc. Like, I thought he was gonna be re-introduced and was gonna destroy everyone, but he’s lost to Phi in the battle royal (everyone lost so that doesn’t really count) he won against Laban and Houi in the team battles (but it’s Laban and Houi, Houi was bound to drag down whoever he was on a team with) and loses EASILY to Laban in the three way battles, then wins against Souh? It just seems like he’s been here to battle Souh and that’s it.
And on the flip side, Souh was doing good-ish. (Ok, he was in the introductory battle of Laban so of course he was gonna lose, Phi battle, everyone lost, team battles, Souh was doing good, but the dagger frame and Fifth Impact was introduced so, of course, he was bound to lose, then he won against Houi and Aiga, then lost against Fubuki?
Phi v Kyle:
Wish we got more, but honestly, was there a doubt about who was gonna win? And why are they pushing this Phi/Kyle dynamic anyway? And how is Kyle still in this tournament? He hasn’t done carp yet.
Laban v Aiga:
Aiga had to win against Laban at some point and a guess now was as good as ever. Using Z-Buster while trapped in Howling Bite was smart tho.
Ranjiro v Khan:
R.I.P Ranjiro...that’s all I gotta say. It was obvious who was gonna win.
Next Episode:
This is Phi’s episode and it looks really interesting. Also I think we know that it’s finally time for Aiga to win against Xhan.
When are we finally gonna see Free?
