The cover arrived it turned out quite different for those interested to check it out here it is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c0ePj7Nc0mk

Please read the disclaimer before listening and be sure to know I'll probably have a go at recreating the song from scratch at some point. Until then I hope some of you will enjoy this.
Quite a bit different from original one but its still pretty good! I like got goosebumps when "haaaang on!".
Ya a little different from the original.. but it's an awesome cover! Thanks to all your efforts Breedo!
I could point out a few differences but it's really good. Overall pretty well done.
It wasn't really a remake or the band wouldn't have accepted it they tried it though. It was a cover, a remake will be very difficult to do but i'll take it on sometime.
I do not mind the differences, but the singer's tone sometimes, outside of the chorus, sounds almost mocking of the lyrics. You can almost visualise a guy putting his chin closer to his throat in order to achieve that tone, and that move is patronizing.

I agree, while I loved the chorus I felt that there was a tone of taking the piddle/mocking/patronising in some of the singing.
I had the same concern you had that it'd come off like they are trying to make fun of the song. I'll qoute their response:

"it isn't like we are trying to make fun of the song or take the piss, we arranged it in a way that we felt would sound like it would fit on a Troldhaugen album."

I think it's important to note the band have always had a comedy side to them which have kinda grew more over time especially in their latest album. Here are examples of the albums that were out when I made the deal.

OBZKURE ANEKDOTEZ FOR MANIAKAL MASSEZ

RAMSHACKLE

Note: If you hear these albums you know they aren't all comedy and I was imagining the cover somewhat in that kind of style. But musicians style change over time and it's a really difficult, thing to convince them to play out of their style once it's evolved.

Here's their latest album>>> https://troldhaugen.bandcamp.com/album/idio-syncrasies

If you study it, it was obviously more heavy on the comedic aspects then the previous ones. I cannot explain their creative decisions all along the way but they too felt they weren't upto doing it in a way that pleased both them and us so they have decided to refund.

On another note here was the only cover they had done previously which I think would have been a better style, but hey just convincing someone to cover a beyblade song is difficult.
