It's a mixed bag quite honestly, while I like that it tried to do something different, this change in tone and theme feels too different and out of place for this series. Furthermore it's distracting the World Championships arc.
This episode looks like a mix between First Season and V-Force.
First of all the harsh training facility for kids is like that of Boris'. The main villain is also wearing a mask in both cases.
Then we're introduced to a group of Bladers possessing Black versions of the Main Characters' Beys. V-Force had Cyber versions in this regard, and the survival setting is very similar too.
So yeah...
While I said the episode was extremely out of place and distracted Beyblade Burst God's story, I found this episode still worth checking out. It's not a great episode but it's... alright. The whole thing is like V-Force Psykick arc and the Russian BioVolt training facility, and the whole BioVolt thing does at least make more sense in this "real" world.
Predictably, Rantaro is a total loser ONCE AGAIN... I hate how he's still a punching bag now. It's bad enough that he lost, but lost 3-0, when will Rantaro become good? Beating generic beyblades for generic owners doesn't count. Let's hope no -one else is as big of a loser.
The link is down for me...
i can't watch its a black screen when i try to
Same here. I wonder what happeneed.
At this point, I honestly want TT to make a Takara-Tomy Mall exclusive "Snake Pit Bey Set" (Black Valkyrie, Black Ragnaruk, Black Wyvern, Black Chronos, Black Deathscyther)

Thanks V2KX you're a life saver!
I initially thought that Daina would be slightly, slightly, at least slightly smarter than this, after seeing the failure with Rantaro. It's pretty clear that everyone has no chance of winning against their respective "copy" beys, since the bladers at Snake Pit are a lot more well trained and have much better equipment. The only realistic chance of winning is by exploiting their own respective weaknesses via types and god abilities (since that's exactly what Daina was best at doing) or just yell harder and activate whatever abilities their beys have(which Rantaro did not do for some reason...). The insistence of fighting against their own copies is just plain stupid and completely unnecessary. I'll feel really bored if I need to sit through another episode of mirror matches. There's literally nothing stopping them from doing so. The trapdoor underneath the stadiums can be easily avoided after what happened with Rantaro (increased awareness), and the Snake Pit folks don't seem to care about their own rules either. And... yeah, the episode was just boring overall. Exposition dumps everywhere, it's just standing and talking and shouting, then more talking and shouting, and you get the point.
Oh man I completely forgot something about this episode...
Unless I'm missing something here, looks like my prediction of Valt not crying of Shu's apparent death was right, I mean damn...

Maybe thata due to show em they are relying too much on there beys' raw power they aren't focusing on improving there skill (which I doubt is xase with Daina) or want to show they aren't using there beys's some ability. But really that make this matter even more confusing as its even harder to think what that organisation is actually upto as those bladers they sent were pretty close to that of team beyclub (and Kuzo) and it felt like it was to "teach" those 5 they need to improve. If thats case, why that organisation want to improve those 5? Maybe they seen there performance in japan and want to improve? But again why? Like you said type advantage battle (like attack > Stamina) could work but it won't let em improve in there own feild
Like Beyga said it felt like V-Force but it was better tbh lol.
Even weird thing why they let em go even after losing?
Its only me or thise gold suite guy seemed like U2 owner?
Hey yo mana and who ever else works on subbing yo what happened its up to episode eighteen and you've only subbed episodes 1 & 2 Any updates and whats happening back there?
I don't really like this new way too serious tone at all. What I liked about burst is that it was realistic. Big world-wide beyblade tournaments? Pretty realistic if beyblade was more popular. Dozens of kids in an underground facility in the middle of some mexican forest training for guys wearing masks? Not so much.

On his defense, Ragnaruk zone can only be activated when the bey is in the center of the stadium, which he was fighting for the whole match.

There are absolutely no indications of that in the anime. Sure, Rantaro only activates Ragnaruk zone in the center, but there's no indication for when he is allowed to activate it. Though the center is the most advantageous position to do so, there's no reason why Rantaro can't activate it before slamming into Black Ragnaruk. Also, I'm a bit confused about the masked people not building a bajillion more trap doors in case the first one failed somehow... This just seems like really careless design.

I guess, but even if he got it to work, there was probably a slim chance it would've worked given Rantaro's huge track record of being a total loser in battles. Plus, the other Blaze Ragnaruk won just by clashing equally head on, not even like a draw or something. I wish Rantaro could've at least lost winning one point, not 3-0!
im currently on beyblade burst ep 34 since i watch eng dub but i watched this episode for black bR it loooks awsome.too bad rantaro always loses.
I change my opinion on red eye. It can't be shu because his voice is deeper, he is taller than shu and red eye's hair is longer.

Can't he:-
Speak intentionally deeply like how Ryu did?
Can't he wear tall sole show
Ray too seemed to have short hair but they actually were very long

Both of those are possibilities. It's shown in the cut out of Red Eye that he is wearing a bit of a heel. I think the only thing that could explain the hair length change (if it's Shu) is extensions.
On the Ray thing though, it was obvious that his hair is long and just pulled back. /:

maybe he just decided to let his hair grow rather than using extensions.
