But yeah, I don't believe Shu is dead. Rather, I think Shu is metaphorically dead,
in the sense of memory wipes and stuff, similar to Toby in the Metal Saga.
Spoiler (Click to View)Actually, you do have a point there... but you'd think it would sink in after a while. I bet Valt won't even cry about it next episode. If he does then that would be something.

Agreed with both of you. Really I still feel like he's Shu and just pretending to be someone else. Though still writer can't think us thinking he is "not" shu (as like he looks like shu, he's techniques are similer and he has Sprigen and Shu's missing) when its obvious he is (maybe) Shu and expect us to surprise seeing him Shu. This is what make me feel all those theories (especially BeyGa's Shu's brother one) and writer is probably upto soemthing and make like a big shock/twist to plot. Hope I would be right and story would get further intresting and we will getto see a awesome twist to plot. And if thats the case, hope they could exicute it well in remaining 34 episodes consist of 26 mins each (some beyxcersie guys?) and not end up making it end in typical way or mess up during exicution
that memory loss theory is intresting and I imagine it may reused but there are still things (just in that episode) that may counter that theory for example when that stadium came out, Red Eye shouted Valt to get back (I think? Eh Japanese :p)) get back in way he looked worried Valt may get hurt. But if thats case then how he remember Valt? It might be just to save him just because he is good (not sure how to explain) but he is working for evilish (apparently from face of American team's captain lol) and they won't bother much about a kid getting hurt.
BTW episode was quite awesome, and it was kinda unique too as plot finally was on getting for a quest to do something rather then just revolving around life of bladers (which was too fine) and finally they are traveling around world (which I like alot) and finally competition is getting on next level . Though I wonder what that organisation thats behind making Shu, Red Eye (or just posses Red Eye) wants. I mean as burst is much more down to earth and beys doesn't have same destuctive power as they did before (they might break if launched on rock which was opposite before lol)
BTW did anyone noticed a weird thing, Shu's parents weren't in his home anytime whenever Valt and all went there. I wonder could that captain of American team maybe somehow related to shu? Like how Kai's grandfather made him use Black Dranzer F to capture all bit beasts, who know it might be similer here but like I mentioned above how would a evil plot would work out here?
