Join us on Sunday, January 29th, 2017 for a Toronto Beyblade Burst Tournament downtown at A&C Games inside of their gaming zone, "A&C World"!

I've noted it below, but I would also like to stress especially for this event: please be sure to arrive ON TIME for this tournament. We will finish registration at 12:30PM and will begin the tournament immediately. If you think you're going to be a little bit late, let me know and we may be able to work something out. Thank you!

If you can make it, please hit the blue JOIN TOURNAMENT button at the top of this page! See you all there!

Please note that the admission fee for this event is $11 for non-Passport Holders due to the $5 venue fee in combination with the $6 tournament entry fee.

What is Beyblade Burst?
Beyblade Burst is the brand new, third generation of Beyblade by TAKARA-TOMY! It launched in 2015 in Japan and Hasbro recently launched it in Canada in September 2016. If you are not familiar with Beyblade Burst, please take a look at the Beyblade Wiki article covering it, the Beyblade General Forum, and the Beyblade Burst Hasbro Topic for the most up to date information about Hasbro's release of the series internationally.

No Bey? No Prob!
Don't have any Beyblades from this new series? No problem! We would be happy to lend a Beyblade and launcher to you to use for the duration of the event!

Side Notes
Please be aware of your belongings: We'd advise users to please, please look after your stuff. While yes this is a Beyblade tournament and we're not suggesting that any of us would attempt to take each other's stuff it is still happening at a public venue where other people (who may not be so friendly) are going to be present as well. Of course, if you see a personal belonging lying around bring it up any of the judges so we can return it to the right person. Your co-operation is appreciated!

All players must arrive on-time: If you do not arrive at the scheduled start time, you risk being excluded from the tournament. The software we use to run our events–Challonge–does not allow us to add in extra participants once the tournament has started.

If you know in advance that you will be late, please post in this thread or contact someone at the event and depending on the circumstances we can perhaps still include you if we know you will arrive soon.

All questions for this tournament may be asked in this thread!

Not sure what to expect?

I'll be putting together the Beyblade Channel video from our first tournament at A&C Games soon to help promote this one, so please stay tuned everyone! Smile

I have a used white one that's still in really great condition that I could sell to you for a low price. If you're interested, PM me!

We're lucky to have a super active community in Toronto, but all our events are still (of course) volunteer run. We just have lots of people looking to blade on a regular basis. Hopefully with the emergence of Burst in the USA, more active Bladers will emerge in Miami and you guys can host more frequent events as well!

Keep supporting the tournaments happening in Miami right now and–especially with Burst having now launched in the US–maybe you guys will become as active as Toronto soon! What we're able to do now certainly didn't happen over night!
hey i host my own beyblade tournaments in australia and i was wondering how you guys do your battle chart, so who is versing who and how you find the winner?

You can read about that in: Organizer's Guide
Challonge is highly recommended to use, however, if you prefer using paper to record results on, you would need to use a bracket template, such as an example like Kai showed below.
That bracket is never used though, since that schema is for Single Elimination and Swiss is prefered when there are a lot of players. There would need to be over a hundred participants for such an unfair format as Single Elimination to be allowed.

This is an example of a bracket for Round Robin, which is the most common format:

Is this tournament for Hasbro or TT beys? Sorry, new playing coming back so I'm 'new' to all this now. xDD

Since we're on the topic though, do the string TT launchers work on Hasbro beys?

This tournament is for both Takara Tomy and Hasbro and yes the Takara Tomy launchers work with Hasbro Beys.

Haha yes. Sadly I will only have the Hasbro blades as I don't really want to spend the money to import just yet. This will just be to see if I want to get back into it. :3

You could ask some members to borrow their parts If you'd like.

Oh really? That'd be great! Though, I'm still gonna buy at least one bey of my own so I don't feel like a begger. xDD Are beyloggers needed at tournaments? Do they serve any real purpose?

Well you don't need a beylogger and their porpose is to use the app, scan bey codes, use e beyterminal, trade points with other bladers, record launch power Andrew more I think, if you have any questions or want to chat feel free tom PM meh
Or alternatively continue to ask questions here as the thread suggests. Smile
