Hello everyone, and welcome.
Reading this thread, one would be able to read about anybody's top five favourite tournaments they've attended, depending on whether readers post or not. If you do plan on posting, I'd ask for you to elaborate on your top five, even if it's the slightest bit of elaboration. It would be much appreciated if you were to do so.
I guess I'll start to get the ball rolling, hah:
5th: My fifth favourite event that I've attended had to definitely be A YEAR: The Month of Rebirth. Why, you may ask? It's because it's been almost five months since I've both attended an event, as well as seen everyone I regularly see at events. Throughout the months not attending any events whatsoever, I've been reading up on this forum, which lead me to feeling a lot more knowledgeable, as well as gave me more confidence towards placing. With that being said, both JesseObre and I were in a tie for third place. Of course, I did end up losing, but that wouldn't change how happy I was being able to place fourth for a second time. Throughout this event, I got the opportunity to meet Theunderdog, another amazing member who hasn't been active in over a year. This tournament also made me realize what a good role model JesseObre is to children, haha.
4th: Attending DIR EN BEY was my fourth favourite event that I have attended being active for a little over a year now. This tournament was quite enjoyable for many reasons. One was because throughout this event, I got the opportunity to meet both Kai-V, as well as The Boss. Aside from that, I was one win away from placing third, and also put into a tie with both Kei and JesseObre. Luckily, I was able to get a position of fourth, though.
3rd: My third favourite event I've attended wasn't too long ago, actually. This event was Ontario's GBT2 Qualifier, though I didn't do so well record-wise, hah. I loved this event because, throughout this event, I helped LMAO judge battles in his blocks. To be completely honest, this was the first tournament that I actually judged an official match in. With that being said, you can all be saying goodbye to the kid in BeyChannel's A YEAR: The Month of Frozen Heads video who whined saying ''Come on, I want to judge.'', hah. Throughout this event, I got to meet many newer members, and even the Youtuber we all know and love, Zankye.
2nd: This event definitely had to be GBT2's Grand Battle: Prelude. That's because, I got to meet many members, that I've never met before. Those members consisted of Dark_Mousy, Geetster99, Yuko Ray14 and his brother, Arupaeo, and much, much more! I was able to do quite good, placing 4th once more for a third time, hah. Throughout that event, in my block, Arupaeo, Geetster99, and I were all advancing to the Semi-Finals, all with scores of 5-2. Throughout the semis, I went 2-3, beating both Kei and LMAO, and then losing all of my other matches, hah. With that being said, placing fourth got me excited about the next two days at Anime North that weekend.
1st: The time has come. My favourite event was ... A YEAR: The Month of Frozen Heads. Not only was this an exciting event, but it was a more laid-back event, as well. Throughout this event, us attendees played in a different shelter, though we were still at High Park. I didn't do too well myself going 3-4, however, I was able to beat bladers with higher rankings than mine by a far. Daegor42 also made a turnout that event, which was pretty exciting. This was also the first Limited Format on the WBO too, if I could recall.
As I said earlier on in this post, please make sure to elaborate on the posts you're making. A post with no elaboration and no explanations on why this was one of your favourite events whatsoever is most certainly not needed.
Anyways, here are examples you should and shouldn't make, if you do plan on posting:
