Just a thread to talk about upcoming anime series, OVAs, & movies, since apparently all we have is a thread for shows that you're currently watching.
To start off, I'm seriously looking forward to Galilei Donna for the fall season. MAL summarizes it as "a story about three moons in the form of three of Italian astronomer Galileo's female descendants who are on international wanted lists." Since I've always been a huge fan of astronomy, I'm hoping it won't focus completely on the girls & they'll drop a few facts here & there. Haven't seen a good astronomy anime since Sora no Manimani, so I have pretty high expectations Smile Additionally, I'm looking forward to watching Kill la Kill, Strike the Blood, Log Horizon, season 2 of Magi, & a few others.
Really looking forward to Kuroko No Basket season 2. Great anime, even if you don't like sports. It's full of good action scenes, funny moments, and really cool characters. I've been holding myself back from reading the manga for some time just to watch season 2, I hear it's going to be even better than season 1. Also can't forget about Pokemon The Origin, which will basically be a 2 hour special. Another one I'm kind of looking forward to is Hajime No Ippo season 3, but I haven't finished the first two seasons yet, so I won't be watching it right away.
Im hoping for a season 3 of kenichi the mightiest disciple, also im waiting for persona 3 the movie, the former is about a kid who gets bullied and starts learning martial arts from a crazy dojo with masters who are basically living tanks and the latter is about a person who is able to summon a power from his soul to fight beings called shadows

My friend was obsessed with that show just for the bishounen haha
She's trying to get me to watch the second season, but I'm not sold Tongue_out
Also, I'm planning to read Kenichi once I finish getting caught up on Bleach, since I haven't seen much martial arts anime, but it'll probably take me a while.
Just wanted to post that the first draft of the winter 2013-2014 anime schedule was posted a few weeks ago. You can find it here: http://i7.minus.com/idkqcHbZPi0aT.jpg
I'm personally really looking forward to Nisekoi (been planning to read the manga for a while now, but I just don't have the time), Sakura Trick (Thank god. I've been having yuri withdraws), & the new Sailor Moon! I'm watching the first season of Sailor Moon right now, so I'll have a basis for watching the new series.
Hmm some looks interesting but I still wish he had more martial arts/superpower tournament animes and stuff like Hunter X Hunter, DBZ, YuYu Hakusho. Inuyasha... I would totally cry if they made a all new re animation of YuYu Hakusho ;___; One of the GOAT animes for sure.
So Shinchiro Watanabe's new anime Space Dandy will be premiering on Toonami before Japan! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mvtFAmNEhxY
I'm really looking forward to Nobunagun. The plot sounds interesting:

WARNING! SPOILER!
I am really looking foward for the continuation of Fairy Tail and Katekyo Hitman Reborn.

HOLY SHIZ. I have an obsession with Oda Nobunaga & that period in Japanese history, so I'm definitely watching that. Have you seen Oda Nobuna no Yabou yet?
Also, I might start watching Fairy Tail when it continues just to see if I get any of it. I watched the first 20 something episodes but got too lazy to catch up.
Just watched the first episode of Nobunaga the Fool and I am totally confused. Mecha and feudal Japan? Not like that isn't awesome, but it's a little less historical than I hoped. It'll be interesting to compare the series to Nobunagun, which I'll also be watching this season.
Magi The Labyrinth of Magic is my all time favorite anime Smile

Just like Attack On Titan, the first season is over. But they're currently making a season which should be coming out soon.

No, that is not possible. Attack on Titan (anime) has only covered 33 chapters (8 volumes) of the manga, while there is only 53 chapters currently in total (13 volumes in total). That being said, there is not enough material from the source to even make a season 2.

According to the Mangaka, the manga will end at 20 volumes. If there's going to be a second season, more than likely it will probably take another 33 chapters to do so.

I would also like to point out, that Anime works a lot differently than western shows, or other programming. Even if an anime is popular enough to have a second season, if there's not enough material from the source, it's just not happening. Unless, the show was originally created by a production studio, and is not an adaptation from a manga, light novel, visual novel, or video game.

Also, do not post information like that without an official source. This is the only official information I can find regarding the possibilities of a second season. But no, they are not currently working on it. Maybe in a couple of years from now, but not soon.
Loving the spring season so far Smile I'm currently watching Akuma no Riddle, Break Blade, Fairy Tail (2014), Gokukoku no Brynhildr, Inugami-san to Nekoyama-san, Kiniro no Corda: Blue Sky, Live Live! season 2, Nisekoi, Selector Infected WIXOSS, Yu Gi Oh! Arc V, No Game No Life, Soul Eater Not!, Black Bullet & Date A Live 2.
Made a team on My Anime List for Fantasy Anime League; I'm looking forward to seeing how my shows do since it's my first time playing.
I wanted to watch Break Blade, but I'm currently trapped in this heck hole Unhappy
Don't worry, I watched one episode of it & it's not that great. You are, however, missing out on a couple fabulous yuris & other awesome anime this season Wink
Edit: you said you weren't going to watch airing anime anymore though D:
Oh yeah, and what might these Yuris be called? I'm curious.

Anyway, on another note: Has any watched Mahōka Kōkō no Rettōsei? I really like this series!
Lol well there's a 5 minute per episode series called Inugami-san to Nekoyama-san & this awesome anime, Akuma no Riddle.
I checked out the anime you're talking about, but it looked pretty bishounen & I'm getting enough of that with Kiniro no Corda (which I'm really only watching because I'm a violin player, myself)

I wasn't serious when I said that :o It's just that I am unable to watch currently airing anime now :<
